Thanks for the video! I managed to replace the curtains on my 70d haha...Absolutly bonkers how these camera are put together. Although FYI anyone doing this, you need to accuratly measure the distance from the cameras flange to the back plate on the CMOS module before taking it out. Then use special measuring tools like a dial caliper to be able to correctly adjust the CMOS chip so its back in its correct factory position parellel to the flange. If you dont measure the distances before taking it out, then you will break the focus. I'm going to be astromodding mine so knowing the correct measurements before taking out the CMOS isnt such a problem as long as i can get the CMOS chip parallel to the flange. Astromodding breaks the focus anyway so manual focus is ok for me as long as the CMOS chip measured so its parallel. Phew.
