"It was the summer of eighty-seven. My pardners and me were ridin' the coach across the desert. All of a sudden the monster appeared. I got to the turret and gave the critter the whole nine yards. I knew we was toast but by some miracle the almighty guided my trigger finger and I nailed the beast right between the eyes. As he hit the dust all I could think to say was: bye, son!"
I'd watch that! Sort of a crossover/mashup of "Young Indiana Jones" and "Firefly". Hell yeah, I'd subscribe to a new channel/service just to watch that show.
Yeah, Firefly mixed with a few elements of Wild, Wild West. I need a new show like this in my life. (P.S. See Autotuna's comment above with his "recount of encountering this beast". I'd pay to watch a show like that!)
This continues to be such a rad little world you’re creating. Also if you’re ever painting horses again, you should try darkening their lower legs. A bit of a gradient from around the knee down really helps with that bay coat and a lot of other patterns. Great work as always man!
I like to think of the Bison monster you've made as this sort of Bison minotaur-variant, specific to North America. It's larger, hardier, and sturdier thanks to its more hairy coat of fur. And its more ferocious than its western counterparts across the the Atlantic, as it wanders the plains looking for its next meal. They are mostly solitary omnivores, and to add more fuel to that nightmare, its faster too. Hence the reason why it can keep pace with a wagon designed to chase down medium-sized monsters, and why it doesn't flinch at the rounds going into it. My take on this particular moment in your Wild-West-Monsterverse.
I've always had a fascination with stagecoaches, and the wild west in general. There's something almost romantic about the rustic look of a stagecoach and the image of it being pulled along a barren landscape by a load of horses. Thanks for posting this, you did a great job making it look like more than just an old stagecoach.
I love your videos! Watching people build models and dioramas has become one of my destressing methods as of late. Your style, narration and music choices all mesh together to make for a very relaxing video and the "cybercowboy" setting is really cool. Please, keep building this amazing world of yours!
I would really love to see your cam set up. Mine drives me nuts. On a tripod between my legs...superannoying. Oh and keep em coming. More Western Scifi please :>
i really like the monster theme that you have going on with your dioramas. it gives your crafted universe a wonderful lore that is both chilling and beautiful.
I wish I would have found this channel months ago. I was just in Denver in July. Your dioramas make me want to stsrt a new hobby... which I absolutely don't need.
I love the addition of the beastalo to the imaginary west. It makes me wonder what else is out there. Are they edible? Do people flee from them? Crossing the plains must be difficult with them around. Are there herds? Are the sentient? O.o so many. It's great, man. There are so many stories waiting to be told. And it feels like each of your dioramas gives you a picture frozen in the timeline of these characters and places. It's amazing. Cheers!
Digging the wild west theme. It's like a West World and Tales of the Loop Mashup. Inspiring me to take on a similar build but using a different era of time.
Bro i bumped into one of your video about a week ago and now i’m totally addicted to your channel, love the western/sci fi universe that you’re building, lots of star wars vibes to the vehicles and i just love it all, keep up the great work, love from italy.
An yellow/orange LED light would work well for muzzle flare in conjunction with the cotton to defuse the light in that shape. The addition of some hanging lanterns on the side of the coach would be great too. Looks awesome though. Fantastic skill, detail, and visual storytelling.
First...a quote by Barbara Kingsolver - "“The color brown, I realized, is anything but nondescript. It comes in as many hues as there are colors of earth, which is commonly presumed infinite.” I post this quote both because of your appreciation of the color brown, and also because your creativity and ability to impress is "commonly presumed infinite"! I love everything about this build, and I love this universe you are creating!!
when you painted the little men with yellow and red it made me think of what a western version of star trek would look like, with explorers scouting out for new land and facing monsters and foreign life and cultures
Several years ago I ran a table top RPG campaign for Scion. One of the quests for the players was to capture or kill a minotaur/bison hybrid created by the Indigenous god Coyote. Imagine my surprise when years later I am browsing youtube and stumble upon a diorama of my campaigns escapades. Awesome work! Love your videos.
A note about the tire tracks. A pair of parallel groves like that is actually an anachronism that did not exist before the modern automobile in the 20th century. Before that the draft animals churned away the middle strip with their feet. Other than that, I really love this setting. Keep it up.
Thank you for showing the trial and error. “I started to do this but it didn’t work right so I did this instead” That stuff helps us amateurs feel like it’s okay to make mistakes.
Love the build, just came here from another of yours, i just wanted to point out a little detail in terms of tracks: those are tyre marks, that pattern is from contemporary vehicles, horse drawn carts would leave a much more worn middle, there would be more grass (flocking) around where the wheels were than the trampled centre.
OMG I didn't know that we were also getting a bison monster! This Wild Imaginary West theme is probably my favorite that you have done. And don't fret about that botched print... You now have a fully functioning breakdancing bison monster model. Win win all around.
As always, absolutely fantastic. Your builds are amazing but honestly, your painting is so underrated 😱 The life you bring to these scenes with your paint work and choice of colours is beautiful
When I was a kid, I got into Warhammer. Not for the tabletop play but for the figurines and the painting. They were so expensive and I wasn't very good at it. One day my step dad handed me a bunch of green and tan army guys. Barely over a dollar or so. He told me to "do that thing with the paint and let me see what you got". Some of those ended up so nice. This brought back the memory. Fun times. I bet if I dug in some old box in storage I probably have either Warhammer, Army guys or both. Not all of them. But I bet they're in there.

You need to comment on every Wild Imaginary West diorama that is made.
Please.
@@joshpeacock2951 LOL! thanks!
Perfect!
After all these Wild West scenes now I want a show based on this universe!
Firefly would be kind of close and it's a great show
@@hoguemr Firefly is great, but I would see this an more alternate history/fantasy Wild West style of show.
@@hoguemr my thoughts exactly

You should watch the 80's cartoon Brave Star, it's something close to that genre.
Horses pulling a carriage will create a beaten path down the middle of the track as well. Great work. Keep the videos coming.

Also indicates dust & dirt collected from a long drive! "Got a bit 'o whiskey? Mah throats a lill' dusty!" ⚸
I’m not into the hobby of model making, these videos just have a certain calming aspect to them. Keep it up!
The 88% breakdancing Buffalo Monster could make an appearance in something else?
Mint scene!
My thoughts exactly
Maybe sculpting a form or corruption with clay to make it even scarier.
Dance off versus Grogu.
I was thinking more of a Babba Yaga type deal. Maybe a tee pee built by a shaman on the back of this buffalo monster that carries his house around.
Still better than Australia's breakdancing at the Olympics...
That bison monster is sick. It's like a Western plains twist on the Minotaur.
Love this! I can't help but think the "Imaginary Wild West' would be an awesome setting for a tabletop RPG.
Ngl that would be great. I’m going to remember this
Or a book/show/film series.

It was the music for me that gave me the firefly vibe!
This video gave me an incredibly vivid image of the lady holding an RPG, calmly shouting, "Backblast Area Clear!" like a proper southern belle.
I love love love your western world keep em coming.
Great build, I like "to prevent unnecessary workplace injuries!" ( 4:22 ) Good night.

All the brown works because it gives the diorama a sort of sepia tone like photos from the era. Love it!

The sutle humor in this episode is epic. More of that please it’s just damn funny
Calmly firing at the monster. He's like, "This happens every damn day."

One word... DAMN ! even tho the guy on the top isn't hunched over that machine gun.. you knocked it out the park..!!👏👏
I love how Boylei sounds like HE doesn't know what he's doing during the narration
Very Firefly! Love your work give such a great visuals narrative and there’s no need to explain your model. The viewers imagination fills in the gaps.
OSHA approves of your use of safety handrails for this build.
"The stagecoach then raced away to prime itself."
Glad to hear your models are taking some initiative and helping you out finally.
Your comedy is so dead pan and emotionless. I love it.
I love how you add a little more humor to each of these videos
Im always fantastically amazed by your creativity and fantasy inspired work on the stage coaches and mechs!
very similar to Van Helsing and the Wolfman! Spectacular!!
what makes this even better is the horses look like they are spooked and running away as they would if this was real. amazing work
I am deeply enjoying this western world you are building! Something very new and really creative.
Your Steampunky-Western theme is simply awesome!
I love this series so much, keep it up with the amazing builds!
Hope everyone is doing well, stay safe and have a good one!
I need to see a room tour of this guy’s work. Probably looks like incredible

THIS ONE I LIKE VERY MUCH, OF A IMAGINARY WEST STAGE COACH TRIP, AND THE BISON MONSTER!
World building, one diorama at a time. Would be great to see them together as a story board.
The fact that you can get a stagecoach and make this is awsome!
Great Job. Love your stuff.
I don’t know why i just love how you build things, it makes my day
I've been enjoying these Western Themed builds.
Pretty cool imagination and story telling ability.
Outstanding as always, and the brown looks good. Thanks for sharing.
Love it. Great job. Thanks for the idea. I'm thinking cybernetic horses though.
Not only are these pro but I'm digging the western style models. It's different and when you ad an element of "steam punk" it really sets it off
Love the world you’re building

Great idea and build! Now find the Lindberg 1/16 scale stage and build a ultra detail version!!!
There was a movie in the 90’s about the Wild West on another planet. This would fit perfectly in that movie.
American variant of the Minotaur looks great!
Seeing all these wild west builds really has been great! I can see this being a really fun setting for a tabletop RPG! Awesome work
I enjoy this theme in your builds, you've really captured my imagination.
Extremely creative/ Ray Harryhausen! I love this idea!
love the greebling, makes it look that much more interesting
