Consider collaborating with innovative partners like the engineers of SpaceX and Vast to avoid financial pitfalls. Relying solely on former NASA professionals may slow progress due to their cautious approach.
to me look the same old style from Apollo era. Cant be done as we see in movie? I need money to try my ideas. ESA need to open a budget for entrpeneur on this fields.
I want to know how much these suits will cost. The whole point of getting private companies to make these suits was to save money. Show me the numbers.
you can't just look at the suits' cost as the profit from these contractors is taxable and new technology developed for these purposes (i.e. space) tends to increase productions of other companies too and so on
@@NaturalNatureShorts no really. Why did we go to the moon originally? Cause it was cool and gave us enormous bragging rights. Why did we decide Mars was the next step? Because people wanted to see humans on Mars next. Without humans there's no point
@@NaturalNatureShorts I'm assuming you're referring to point 2. Sure, we have Atlas who can balance and do parkour. However everything it does has to be programmed ahead of time and would be far more time consuming than real human explorers. I guarantee you if we sent humanoid robots to the moon instead of real people, the public reaction would call for real people on the moon instead
The exact same thing happened with the original Apollo suits. If you think about it it actually makes tons of sense to get luxury clothes manufacturers involved in spacesuit production because they're really good at making things comfortably conform to the human body and stitch the type of high quality fabric you'd expect in a spacesuit. In what world would an aerospace company to have all that knowledge?
@@notgreg123 i think in this day and age it would make more sense to collaborate with an outdoor clothing company that has experience working with highly technical fabrics, clothing that needs to withstand harsh environments, and creating a fit that allows for a large range of motion. I'd pick someone like Arc'teryx over a luxury fashion brand if it were my suit...
Happy New Year Axiom! Looking forward to 2025!!!
keep it up humans!
A marvelous feat 👨🚀
Cannot wait to see them on the surface of the moon. Go 2025.
Heard you guys had some financial issues. I'm really pulling for you. I'm a space nerd and so I'm a huge fan of your mission.
Nice achievements! The space suit looks awesome!
Wow! So cool!
Epic!!! 😎
I'm so looking forward to these suits actually being used on the moon!

There's a good chance even they don't have an answer to that
Wait for the GAO report. Axiom is likely under no obligation to share costs on their behalf.

Why not send robots?
1. That'd be lame as hell
2. Those type of robots don't really exist yet
3. Humans would be much more versatile and reactive anyway
@ ???? Do you live under a rock?
“Lame” Ok, end of conversation.

Prada? I am starting to lose respect for you Axiom.

@@notgreg123 I see your point, I just hope they don't include a special pocket for a small accessory dog.😉

@@GrumpyBearU_U eh I'm sure they've done their research
