Hi! I used 2 different yarns, 1 for a 4mm crochet hook, (the small one), and 1 for a 6mm crochet hook (the big one). In the pattern, you can find the sizes of the 2 blankets, the gauge and the yardage of the materials used :)

Hi, i have just downloaded the pattern, it say to chain 170 stitches, is that correct for both the big and small blanket as it doesn't state which one it is for?
It's the same pattern for both blankets, the only thing that changes is the yarn and the crochet hook. But you can find in the instructions the multiple of the fopundation chain that you have to make if you want to make it larger or shorter :)

I recommend at least getting the same brand (thickness) of yarn but two different colors. I went with two different brands (lack of choice for chosen colors)and it worked but made the visual aspect hard to see.
I’m confused, when u first start to do the one DC then the 10 middle, but then next row you have DC single DC then 9 SC, then another DC, shouldn’t it be 8 SC,s in btwn the two DCs??😮

For the big one, I used a 4,5mm crochet hook, and for the small one I used a 3,5mm crochet hook :)
