Just seemed like they were setting this guy up the way they all huddled around. And seems like quite a waste of a way to do an actual beta pack considering some channels make quite a big deal over opening a single beta pack . Just felt set up. And I think someone said it was a fake pack at some point during the interviews. The cards looked darker. Just saying, it wasn't exactly clear that it wasn't repacked, and it seems like it's not outside the realm of possibility considering he has access to old packs and cards

This is BY FAR the best Mulligans episode yet! Right off the bad i was dying with laughter, and although they were proxies(i dont give a fuck but i know Wubby does, even though he did it this time for the sake of the episode) the gameplay was the most captivating yet. Hunter was hilarious of course, and Ryan outdid himself x2 editing this. Thanks guys!

Since it was the first commander show I started watching, the lampoon of Command Zone is KILLING me Hunter is UNHINGED on this episode. I'm DYING laughing at work
I do think the Game Knights format works for them, it fits the performative aspect they go far across all the Command Zone stuff, but it definitely is ripe for parody.
I don't think it's even exclusively performative. It's goofy when you look at the face and think critically, but a lot of what they communicate is their mind state and thought process at that point in the game. It gives a lot of context to WHY they're playing the cards they play or what their plan was at that time. It's also a good way to explain a card without having someone recite/read/explain it to everyone at the table
I stopped playing magic for years and game knights is what for me back into it since it was really easy to follow. If you understand everything that’s happening the interviews can break up the flow, but it worked for me.
This may be bias because Im a huge fan of both Meat and Wubbster (literally the only gamer supps cups I own/will buy), but. This is the best episode of this show so far. The energy with everybody is absolutely stellar. Seems like papameat genuinely could be friends with the guys. And the reality show thing is absolutely goofy, love it
I miss these videos. Please don't stop doing them. The last two were clearly costly with what was used and with guests. We all just want to see you guys play. Whether with a deck worth 10k or a commander precon, we just like the banter from the San Diego crew. Thanks for putting these together. Can't wait for the next one.
I hope an intense rivalry between Skill Check and Mulligans emerges. It is crazy we are seeing big time content creators with deep pockets move into this space at the same time. Wubby is currently in a commanding lead - pun intended - but Charlie is not to be underestimated
I thought this video was gas but skill checks video with the shock collars was better. Wubby's instant win combo wasn't that satisfying considering the rare cards they had.

As someone who enjoys Magic but find the Commander games hard to follow, this was easily the most enjoyable episode yet, the abrupt cuts for the parody interview sections were hilarious.
