Is it possible to change variant coding on a used w218 LED control module to work on w212 headlight? I did try adapting the LED matrix codes using this method, but it did not work. Seems the variant coding or SCN coding on the module needs to be changed, but I don't have access to online coding.. do you have any video or advice for me how to overcome this?
The w218 headlight module is not faulty, just not compatible with the w212 facelift headlight.
did you manage to make the adaptation? I can't do it this way either. please share the solution
It was not possible to make w218 module work on w212 by changing coding or software on module. The hardware inside was completely different. I ended up just buying a used w212 headlight module and my problem was solved. It was plug and play, no adapting or coding was needed to make it work
Здравствуйте! Подскажите, пожалуйста! Делаю всё аналогично (был заменён блок правой фары, использую openport), но после ввода кодов получаю ошибку "Блок управления отказал запрошенной Xentry diagnosis диагностической службе". С чем это может быть связано?
Сам спросил, сам отвечу. Вдруг кому пригодится. Все получилось на заведённой машине. Странно, что в требованиях про это не было написано, напряжение питания было в допустимом диапазоне, подключен зарядник, но возникала такая ошибка.

Great video as always. Just noticed that you used openport to connect the w212 facelift. I can connect openport to my w166 but cannot access separate modules. I am using Xentry 2018 as per you videos and used it for 4 years on a w164 I owned. Can I get full functionality through openport on the w166? Thank you!

@@AmazingRoad On the w164 it worked perfectly by reading every module and data, doing adaptation meanwhile in the w166 I can only scan the car for error codes and can see just a preview of the errors and thats it.

@@resadcebr6146 C4 тоже копия, оригинал только у дилеров. Копия C4 стоит 700$, опенпорт стоит 20$. Все ещо думайте зачем нужен опенпорт?

Здравствуйте. У меня такая проблема. Я заменил лед фары они японские. То есть свет идет неправильно по левосторонему движению. Как кодировать чтобы луч света был для нашего правостороннего движения? Помогите пожалуйста
самое простое берите кодировки с правостороннего движения из других фар и заливайте в ваш

@@arzart1 Обезательно сохраните ваш оригинал и можете залить все сразу. если вары адинаковые то будет работать. Только оригинал сохраните, чтобы если что вернуть ваш
