@@stuthesailor I'm super honored that you replied! Upon reviewing the qualifications it looks like my first step will be going to the dentist and fixing a few problems. I am concerned about how I will pay my bills otherwise. I see that the school is free however, I have someone that will pay the rent for my apartment but my own personal bills and car payment etc. Is still my responsibility. At what point during the one year program at SIU does a student start getting paid something. So my barriers now are saving enough money otherwise to cover bills and also filling some cavities at the dentist. In the meantime I will apply for a passport etc. What is your experience and when you went through this how did you take care of personal responsibility? @@porquee great question! Most of the time your visa wont expire until weeks later if it does expire sooner talk to the cap to extend.
