I don't care if that 044 needed a full rebuild. That's the best buy I've ever seen on one. That's arguably the best saw that Stihl ever produced.

I couldn't believe it when it was happening! I've been looking for one of these for a while but they usually go for what there worth.
That's a smokin deal for a 044. I logged with 044s for years. Most dependable saws I ever owned. That saw for parts is worth 300 dollars.

Rear axle appears to be a 26/27 Model T with wire wheels
