I prefer to juggle materials inside the core of platform, having most basic of circuits for 3 inserters to dump one of those space mats if it's above a certain number. Also instead of a big square you should expand in one direction cuz that requires less platforms and imo trying to fit something in a small area is more fun. My base supports 4 science assemblers without issue I'm just too lazy to expand since this will continue forever while I procrastinate on actually flying to another planet
i just spent like a day trying to make a good transport ship to bring calcinite back to nauvis for my foundries and i couldn’t think of how to not use filtered asteroid collectors and you did it without even using circuit logic
I built a space science station yesterday. I did it without circuits too, but used filters on inserters instead. I actually feel dumb because I completly forgot that you can use priority splitters... your setup is so much simpler yet more effective. I know what I will do later now.
Interesting would be a video showing how to set up an ideal starter base. Not only for the rocket platform but in foresight what will be needed as material for the upcoming visit to the planets. e.g. what to pack as a backpacker for the trip. Thanks for the effort in advance
dont be afraid of circuit logic , with new changes you can designate to entire belt be read easily, and then you can just dump exess resources into space automatically by connecting it to inserter with filter , i was suprised how easy it is compared to old system , in old factorio conecting entire belt and reading everything on belt would be pain. also dont dump iron , just send it down the planet.
great design, but really the science pack production circuits contain 3 combinators that monitor the amount of items on the belts. i didnt use circuits yet and this was my first circuit build. i later used very simmiliar curcuit mechanics on different planets, as a former non cicrcuit enjoyer i think it's worth to learn at least a bit
Thank you! Edit: been trying to find a guide for circuit networks and how to make them behave so belt wouldn't get over run. Now instead I've just built a huge stationary platform to get the science. I don't understand why there is no actual guide for doing stuff with logic stuff. They tell you the basic stuff they can do and don't have any sample for most of the things.
Build a cargo landing pad on nauvis. Request the desired items there. If the space platform orbiting nauvis has these items in stock they will be sent down automatically.
@AVADIIStrategy thanks you weardly helped me a lot I did build the platform but I did not mess with the request now I have constantly white sciences and a ship with gleba sciences
Fair. After launching the very first rocket it might be a good idea to just use a mini platform to get 'some' minor amounts of science. But i don't see how you make 90spm + on a significantly smaller platform. This one is smaller than Nilaus' who went full circuit logic condensed sushi belt.
I think your content creation has legendary quality modules in it.
not cute some of us are early game 😒
@@evanwatling3897 what?
@@ALucaRD807 Just joking. Legendary quality modules take a while to get 😅
And the speed ones
agreed

TY for not locking the blue prints behind patron.
Love this, good job!
Fast, straight to the point. And I liked effects on the belts to show the flow of resources.
Thank you!
Excellent video, great editing, perfect length. Keep up the great work!
Fantastic work. Would love to see your take on efficient spaceship designs as well.
For anyone wondering, the asteroid ratio on nauvis orbit is 3metallic:2carbonic:1ice
Thanks for helping me realize I don’t need to be making science on my travel ship 😂
short, to the point and efficient - you just gained another subscriber ! (even though I don't have "space age" expansion)
Simple and easy to understand, there's maybe few things that can be improved to make it more compact but pretty good so far
Filtering and priority on splitters handles so many things circuits used to. Brilliantly clean!

simple fast efficient good video
Glad you liked it
Great video
Well. I made a platform that works... but this is far more efficient. I love it.
Great content, also i liked very much your deathworld megabase challenge!
Thank you for this. The sushi belt Nilaus used was hideous.

This was perfect. Thanks

I absolutely love your videos!
Thanks, bye!
you can tell he is german by the fact that this video is 2 minutes and it is very efficient
Wunderbar! Danke
Se factory must grow.
Thank you!

I think they have to balance the tips between People who enjoy hard puzzles and those who are not engineers 😅
This gives galvanized square steel energy
Still havent found a better way to filter asteroids
I was just wondering if the splitter filer design can be used for early game travel ships (to my first planet) I don’t see why it can’t be?
Of course. If you don't want to use a sushi belt you can use it for travel ships as well.
Okay but what if I build two of these
oh bloody, you can destroy extra resources like that?
How do you send white sciences automatiquely to nauvis ?
Build a cargo landing pad on nauvis.

@AVADIIStrategy thanks you weardly helped me a lot I did build the platform but I did not mess with the request now I have constantly white sciences and a ship with gleba sciences
Or just add more science platforms over nauvis. No platform limit.
A very good idea.
👍🏻
Space science become so abundant.
You may just copy space platform over and over...
That outro is about as German as it gets: Efficient
Richtig!
QUEALITY MODULES ARE THE BEST TO WHITE SCIENCE
The platform is way too big in my opinion, better to put everything in the hub and save a few rocket launches
