Blame the WCF logo on the sleeve. The one consistency the organization has had besides losing is the 60 years of ownership by the Ford family. Most organizations bring back their Superbowl winning teams from 10, 15, 20 years hence. In Detroit we bring back the 1991 team that won its ONE playoff victory. Good people, but totally deficient when it comes to hiring competent people to run a successful,WINNING NFL operation. Financially, it's a WINNING organization - thanks to Lion fans - for the Ford family. Sadly, it's a LOSING operation for fans in the D.

@@europeankid98 it is, and I'm not saying I'm not frustrated with that. But none of our linebackers would start on other NFL teams, that's why we couldn't stop Zeke, Breida or Crowell. Thats why we're 1-3.
And the fact is, we have 3 years left to win one for Stafford; there's not going to be any "next years" left. If Bob Quinn has another bad offseason drafting players or acquiring them in free agency, he's gone.

You have to wonder when they talk about the "scripted plays" and the Lions worst production is almost always in those scripted plays. And this is been the case for years. If your worst offense is always the prepared plays then maybe they need to do something different. What would the big brained offensive coordinators do with this team? Pressure, pressure, pressure. They would be scoring 35 points a game because they can't play enough defense to win with less. Typically. Waste Barry. Waste Calvin. Now, waste Stafford. The Lions should be reported to the U. N. council on human rights.

youre doing a great job strategically retaining your job. They beat the greatest team in the NFL over the last almost 20 years, just over a week ago. Patricia will build a great program over the next 3 to 4 years.

When John Elway refused to play for the Colts in 83" he knew it would suck. Stafford has been given worst Def in history fact of 10year player given24 pt per. 70 games with out run game. Sacked 47 times more than Brady & Big Ben combined.Lions wr's lead league in dropped passes 5 past+years and ran wrong routes lead to int's. Stafford would be top 5 qb every year but he can't do everything. He has just eclipsed Jim Kelly in about 25 games less in yrds .Kelly had a defense every year and great rb. I only hope we ever get to see the full potential this kid has. He loves this city. He embraced coming to a. 0-16 team. For that I will always believe in #9.
I don’t think you cab blame that loss on the coaches. Players weren’t doing their jobs. Defense could stop giving away yards with penalties. All the players weren’t doing their jobs to their capabilities

Mental errors have been part of the Lions culture as far back as I can remember, and I've been watching since '79. In addition to lack of focus, it's also the biggest indication of a lack of talent, and this season is demonstrating that.

@@nickmatthewsmusicstudio all teams do, but the Lions often put themselves in a position where those penalties and self inflicted errors help determine the outcome. The worst organization in the league isn't going to get the benefit of the doubt from the officials in a close call.
Eli Harold was offsides for a hour before dak hiked it i know you gotta manage your timeouts rights but I think coach should’ve called timeout everybody could see that man was across the line that was a huge 3rd down
We need two quaterbacks somebody to play 1st and 2nd quarter and stafford to play 2nd half. For some reason he can't do it early. Also give credit to Def Cord. Austin who had these guys playing beyong their talent but he got canned and Jim Bob got the chance to stay. Either you clean it all up or we could have kept the same coach. Matt Patricia will not be a 500 coach.
The Franchise does not have the proper culture. Is being changed. I don't know. I hope so, because a culture change takes time. This is a business. Have to be professional.

This d-line is so void of talent. Just look at the players on the d-line. There’s not one great or really good player on that line. Patricia has done a good job with the talent he has which is none. Literally had the perfect game plan against the Pats but when it’s talent against talent our team is going to lose. That’s how bad our defense is. I don’t think we have any of our draft picks playing on our d-line right now.

Look Dallas O line and Elliot are the best part of Dallas team. We couldn't slow him down not once and anybody with a brain knew it was gonna happen including me. When your worried about the run so much yeah the boots and play actions are wide open to exploit players like Davis and Glover Quinn etc. Im not mad at the LIONS they are what they are and Patricia is trying to change the professionalism in our culture. Be happy you LIONS fans were even in that game despite Dallas being that poor.

The Lions were winning 7-6 for the whole first half. Dallas scored in the last 2 minutes. Unfortunately the Lions had to kick a field goal on their last drive of the first half. Lot of those holding calls on the lions were "nit pick" calls. Two plays that dallas should of been called for "O" line holding, the play Prescott fumbled, and the play when one of the dallas "O" linemen's helmet came flying off. He tacked the Lions nose tackle. Jared Davis is faster than Elliot. The coverage was good. The mistake he made was not knowing where the ball was. Nevin Lawson made the same mistake in the first half. The lions should hire Lem Barney to be their defensive quardinator. The greatest shut down corner-back in the history of the NFL. He ran like a deer, he hit like a truck. Deon Sanders was a great cover man. Unfortunately he couldn't tackle a six year old with two broken legs. Lem Barney always played the "ball" not the "man" Daruis Slay needs to work with Lawson. The best running back on the field yesterday only had 9 carries. Zeke Elliott is the slowest human being ever to play running back. My grandmother is faster. I bet you he can't run a 5.0 40 yard dash . Jared Davis had him covered. He didn't look back for the ball. Lem.Barney always said, "You have to have eyes on the back of your head".

QB change? Without Stafford the Lions wouldn't score. He's done everything he can to win games. We had the game won, but once again the defense lost the game for us. If you can score 2-3 TDs and a few FGs and still find yourself losing then it's obviously a defensive problem.
