    The unmarked truck at 0:41 is the same type of truck that my hometown Police Department has with the same color light's, but it's rarely used though.

      Very cool. It's a pretty slick setup...would love to see PD's in our area with something similar.

    • @huntermcdoogle4271

      Nope. It is a personally owned vehicle of a volunteer firefighter.

    Why did you blur the police plates? LOL Those are registered under the state- not related to any specific individual 😅😅😅😅

    • @huntermcdoogle4271
      @huntermcdoogle4271  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a privately owned vehicle....not owned by a police agency or fire department. You can review some of the above comments for more commentary.

      @@huntermcdoogle4271 you can get police lights in privately owned vehicles? Wow I actually had no idea.

    • @huntermcdoogle4271
      @huntermcdoogle4271  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, if you are a volunteer firefighter (or off duty police officer in some cases), many states allow you to run emergency lights on your personal vehicle if you are responding to a true emergency call. That is why you will see random vehicles with emergency lights in more rural areas.

    At the location where this was filmed, are POVs recognized as true emergency vehicles?

    • @huntermcdoogle4271
      @huntermcdoogle4271  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hollister, Missouri. Fire POV's are recognized as emergency vehicles. "
      Different classifications from Missouri Bill 304.022 defining an Emergency Vehicle:
      (1) A vehicle operated by the state highway patrol, the state water patrol, the Missouri capitol police, a conservation agent, or a state or a county or municipal park ranger, those vehicles operated by enforcement personnel of the state highways and transportation commission, police or fire department, sheriff, constable or deputy sheriff, federal law enforcement officer authorized to carry firearms and to make arrests for violations of the laws of the United States, traffic officer, coroner, medical examiner, or forensic investigator of the county medical examiner's office, or by a privately owned emergency vehicle company;"

      @johnarat9618 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @huntermcdoogle4271 Ok. So they can break traffic laws just like police cars, fire trucks, and Ambulances do? And is pulling over mandatory?

    • @huntermcdoogle4271
      @huntermcdoogle4271  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes and yes. They are granted the exact same rights as a police car or fire truck. Law requires drivers to yield to them.
