I agree! Makes you so much more aware of what is actually going on. Whether you do it digitally with an app or tracking it on pen and port: It’s essential
It's definitely the small things that can add up. Tracking all of your expenses for a while might be annoying but it helps a lot to see how much you're actually spending and thus to manage your spending behavior. Highly recommended! 👌
Great video 👍🏽 I set myself a £100k savings target in 5 years and reached my goal this year. 6 months earlier than expected. Paid of my student loan and saved 100k by the age of 28. Definitely recommend reviewing expenses every month and cutting back.
@@ChristosFellas Yeah definitely investing the money into stocks. Started investing when the crash happened in 2020 and it's another very good source of income.
Forget investing, buy a house in full and then what ever you earn from work you can just sit back and relax, go on holiday, buy a nice car etc. interest rate going up or living cost wouldn’t effect you as you have a home that’s 100% yours
im on the same wage as you i get 2k a month now but i struggle so much even still. I will make my 10k goal this year hopefully 20k next year, i use to earn 56k before tax and i couldn't save for shit then, its a mindset you need
You've solved your own problem... "mindset." Just switch it up a bit. 56K before tax, and even after tax, you could've and should've saved 20K a year easily. If you had a 56K job once, you can get that again. Just control your spending, and you'll save.

it's actually not. I mention about some really good side hustles you can do alongside your full time job . My first job was 14,000 a year and i did side hustles to almost double that income. YOU GOT THIS!
Sorry I should have mentioned this is relative to where I live. I'm based close to London where average wage prices are naturally higher alongside cost of living. £33,000 in some areas is a fantastic salary.
If you are on 33000 after tax you are left with 26000, you saved 20000 so only spent 6000 in 1 year. So if your rent alone is 500 pm you have already spent your 6000 per year. Terrible smell of the brown stuff coming off this 'educational clip'.

Is the little things that make a big difference. For myself, giving up take aways and Starbucks made a massive difference. Start small
Yes exactly!
Every time I get change, I put in a jar and treat myself to a coffee at a fancy place. Seems silly but the small change really added up!
