If you find the tractor bogging down or short on power… make sure that lever under your seat is in the middle. I’m always kicking that lever to one side or the other. I had speaker issues as well. Keep them coming 👍

Hi, I got an rk25 a few weeks ago. From what I've gathered, the lever under the seat controls the rear hydraulics. Center is off, left or right controls the direction of flow. If you connect the backhoe lines backwards and it doesn't work, you should be able to just flip the lever to the opposite side. The knobs on the seat should adjust firmness and seat height.

The other knob controls the speed of your rear links. When your not using the backhoe and have something like a grader box on the rear links you can adjust that to control how quickly you raise or lower those attachments using that red handle you pointed at beforehand. With the backhoe attached the rear hydraulics are in use by it so that lever acts more like an on off switch. Id you look at the rear links though even with the backhoe on and mess with that lever you should still see them try to raise or lower. Just don't play to much as they may interfere with the backhoe mounts lol.

The 4WD selector has two positions off and on. This enables the front axle. Yours is in the on position. It's best to leave it off when not needed.

I have only had it in the on position since I bought the tractor. What will happen if I leave it on.

@@letslearntogether4361 increased and unnecessary wear on the front end parts. I only turn mine on (JD 790) when I absolutely have to. Also the turning radius is slightly smaller w/o the front drive being turned on.

@@letslearntogether4361 Lots of driveline wear & tear, power loss, stearing bindage ,excessive tire wear, chattering&lurching stearing;; ALL VERY BAD!!! The "New enthusiasm " aka "Jest wanna drive my new twacter", can & will ruin machinery, property & people's health. Just watched your vid. Wondering what you think of it now? I got my first 25 3 years ago. Had a lot of trouble with it. Around 600 hrs they gave me a new one. Have 750 hrs on it but it's like the first one, down as much as it's been up.

How long is that tractor from front bucket to bucket on backhoe? Do u think a 16ft trailer will work or 18ft?

th-cam.com/video/wj1xkEKKXcE/w-d-xo.html this is a video from Tony's tractor homestead something or other, sorry Tony, of him putting in his remote valve. He has a TYM T25, the RK25 is a rebranded T25, but it comes with a couple options that the T25 doesn't.
The handle under the seat is for the rear remotes, center is blocked, one side is flow in one direction and the other side is flow in the other direction.
4WD "ON" sends power to the front axle.
The small knob on the seat tilts it back just a couple degrees. I saw just a tiny bit of movement in mine when I rotated it.
The manual is not translated very well. I wander if the TYM manual is any better?
Anyway, enjoy your tractor, I've enjoyed mine for the 4 hours I've ran it so far.

I was wrong, the small knob is an um and down adjustment. I ran out to the garage at lunch and took the seat off to get a better look. It adjusts about an inch up or down, that's one inch total. Seems like a lot of engineering and added assembly for only an inch. I made a video I'll try to post it tonight.

@@letslearntogether4361 when I went to load mine at the store the backhoe bucked hit the ground. Two easy solutions are to just move the bucket to the side or to put it straight up in the air. Then put it back down once it’s on the trailer.

I had the same question regarding a similar lever, but in a different location, on my RK37H. I found the answer (direction of flow to the rear remotes) by watching a video of a TH-camr who has the 37HP TYM model. While I love my RK37, I am deeply disappointed with the manuals that came with it. Poorly translated and even more poorly written. In some cases, the manual is outright wrong, which is always disconcerting since the factory is supposed to know, and be able to convey, information about their tractor. Worse, they are clearly selling to novice tractor buyers who really do need at least competent guidance from the manual.
That said, I still love my RK37H, manual or not.

      @letslearntogether4361  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I agree with you! I read the manual and told my wife I don’t know anymore now than I knew before.
I turn to TH-cam to learn from others. Morgan’s videos are great. So is Tony’s Tractor Adventures and TNT try new things!

yeah, the red handle lever under the seat is for rear remote flow direction and off in center position. my backhoe works when lever is toward "driver's side / left while sitting over it"
