Just bought a SL500 last week and when inspecting the details at home I found out that the Armrest Push Button is broken. I was disappointed and expected a nightmare to fix it. Thanks to Classic Trim Parts it seems just "a hand full of Dollars" away which made my day ... Will order soon, but beforehand I will check for other things on my car.

Sadly we are all looking to replace that button as it’s broken. On mine the top is forward so the plate does not lift off. How do I release the arm test so I can access the lower plates????

Hello, can I ask how to remove the light for armrest? I got it to the point where i can see the bulb in white case, but I am curious about the cable connector….can I just pull it out? Or it has any “lock”? (The little thing with 2 cable in it, just to make this clear 😂 )

Hello, I recently purchased one of your soft top handles for my 98 SL600. It was perfect, thank you!
I recently purchased this vehicle and cannot get my center console/arm rest to open. It doesn’t appear to be an issue with the vacuum system since the side button to open locks/unlocks and the front portion comes unlatched when attempting to open. It’s the back half that refuses to release and I’m not sure what could be causing this and I’m afraid to pry it open with force.
Do you have any suggestions or experience dealing with this?
