@ I thought for sure he was gonna move on after getting the first three consecutive wins at Varren racing but he kept going back for more. Tuchankan Princess and Kroger FTW.
The early religious artifact from Earth in Vault E28 can only be seen from a distance through a scope, it's the Ark of the Covenant from Indiana Jones.
You were so suspicious of Brooks that I just _had_ to play Devil's Advocate trying to throw you off course to deepen the impact of her betrayal ;) This DLC really focused on the comedic value and banter that real friends have, which shows a very different side from all of your companions. Sure, we see that every now and then, but this DLC just has fun in coming up all kinds of different ways to make fun of you and others. This must've been a blast for the Bioware team to create this and it's definitely a blast for us players as well. There's a reason why people say to do this late in the game, because it really alleviates all of the tension you've been feeling throughout the entire game. It's such a good change of pace for you as the player, seeing these completely different sides of both your squad mates and Shepard himself. *Quasar* It's funny how you remember this, when the only time you encounter this was in Flux back in ME1. It's been so long ago and it's still memorable ;) *Casino* After this casino you won't have any money to buy any guns anymore XD *Varren Race* That's why I say (and many with me) that you should take your time. If you like to play a few more rounds, play them. It's the only DLC that has it, so you shouldn't have any regrets lingering on something you enjoy. We enjoy seeing you enjoy these silly little games as much as you play them, so if you want to play 10 of them, we're all enjoying every 10 of them because it's you playing them. I mean, _we_ all spent way too much time playing them ourselves, so we _know_ how addictively enjoyable they are :) *Mods* To be fair, you don't have to click the down-arrow, like at 2:03:01 , but you can just click the box itself to select mod 2. That should be less cumbersome in terms of navigation. *Clone* This is what many of us have wondered and it's been hinted at by several characters (Shepard, Ashley, etc.) that it may be possible that Shepard was a clone after Cerberus revived him. It's a big "What if"-factor and Bioware thought it would be fun to _actually_ put that into the game in this way, so that it's still canon. *Big Place* Not sure if you've noticed, but "Big Place", when Wrex says that at 2:19:57 , was the catchphrase of Kaidan in ME1 whenever you randomly talked to him on the Citadel after your first arrival.
2:34:16 Lusia was an asari colony that the Krogan invaded. They had already annexed several other colonies of other species and Lusia was where the Council tried to get them to stop. The Krogan refused and thats how the rebellions started.
Check your messages before you start the invitations, so you can invite the maximum people. Keep going back and forth until there are no more new messages, so you don't miss people.
I think you can invite them all regardless of if you've hung out with them yet in the DLC, so long as you've done their corresponding missions during the main game (so after Sanctuary they should all be available). At least that's what I've found in past runs.
Speaking of catchphrases, James also always saying he's hearing a hum and asking if it's only him ? Kaiden when we were walking near the conduit on the citadel during the whole game before we knew it was in fact a real miniature mass relay :)
There a lot of surprise encounters on the the strip on top of the ones that you're invited to by message so check and re-check every time you leave the appartement to be sure to not miss any. Don't start the party until you are sure you've seen it all, there is no going back after this. You can however go back and forth from the Normandy to the appartement and you should as it triggers more meetings with crew and old friends. The party ends the DLC. Also just so that I don't forget, once the party is over check again your appartement BEFORE YOU EXIT, there will be more stuff to find and listen to. Once you're out and the DLC is over it's not there anymore as far as I'm aware.
With the Combat Sim; I watched a lot of TH-camrs dismiss it as 'just more combat' and not give it a fair shot to flush it out to see how deep it can be. And there's more I want to say but don't want to spoil anything.
I know everyone is saying it but make sure you leave the apartment and go back to the Normandy and then go back because not everyone shows up right away and you want to invite everyone from the trilogy that is still alive :)
What I learned from this episode is that we should NEVER LET CHRIS GO TO VEGAS I never seen someone lose money with so much confidence and gusto 3:24:00 Life would have been a lot easier if you equipped the Typhoon for Garrus. No need to change much as long as you remember to give good weapons for your teammates (the Black Widow is not great for them)
Casino heist? I need to be as subtle as possible. Which means both myself and anyone I take needs to be subtle. Wrex...your up! (this DLC is for what multiple play-throughs were made for) Also, there's three distinct sections to this DLC. And you just finished the fist part.
And now you can finlly start this DLC. =) If you think it's ending, you are far from the truth. Explore carefully, check your messages *often* and pay special attention to the casino because not all interesting meetings are obvious.
Not taking your girl out on a date. Tsk tsk... And time is coming to actually start using Liara in the missions you have left after this DLC. It's rather important. Aisha Ashland is a gem indeed! =)) The "early religious Earth artifact" was only visible from a distance due to a vault malfunction, you didn't notice it. It's a fun easter egg. EDI is really fun to take on the mission to save the Normandy...where she actually is located. Of course the bloody toothbrush ends up saving the galaxy! The banter and crew conversations in this DLC are pure gold.
This was such a delightful episode, Chris. I loved how unintentionally abusive you've been to Liara by not picking her for anything 🤣Don't feel bad about it, she's a real bore! The gambling in casino cracked me up. You were having such a good time! Yeah, the banter in this DLC is incredible. It's really a love letter to the fans. So much to do still! I should go.
So, now you understand even more when we say "Take your time". Arcade, Casino, Combat Simulator - you do realize we expect you to spend an hour long video for each of those activities, right? ;) So yeah, it'll be a few more videos before you're done with this DLC. And we're _totally_ fine with it if you're spending 5 or 6 more hours on this DLC. It's actually easy to spend even more time on it. After having experienced the DLC so far, I think you have an idea how much fun this can be. Oh - and you can modify your apartment still. After all, now you can finally go _shopping_ . Also, in case you're wondering, the party can wait until you have done everything you wanted to.
To be fair, from what we've gathered from the planet scanning lore, the Krogan had started to 'colonize' a world where the Asari already lived on, so it makes sense that the Asari said to get off the planet. Sure, you can come visit and live there, but _colonizing_ an already colonized planet is exactly what drove the wedge between Humanity and the Batarian Hegemony. Once a species claims a planet, it's theirs. You can't just arrive late and claim the rest of the planet - especially when your breeding tactics are to overpopulate the planet. It'd drive off the Asari, despite it being their planet. On the other hand, we all know that some planet descriptions and history in general is either forged or intentionally misdirected, so who's to say the Asari had already laid claim to that planet and having several colonies there? It could be that the Asari hadn't even started that, but wanted that planet for themselves. *Archive: Attack on the Citadel* Those actions and banter get triggered once you get close enough to the room where the fighting happens, so you could've heard the Archive narrator clearly if you hadn't moved when it started talking. The truth conveyed to the public is different from what Spectres hear; which explains why the Salarian Spectre Bau (which you've met during Kasumi's appearance in ME3) says the STG is backing you rather than the Dalatras, because he knew you were speaking the truth regarding the Reapers and he had enough reputation for STG to adopt his stance. *Early religious artifact* It's never discussed, but I suspect that it was a Prothean artifact that people on Earth worshipped, but that never got the traction after other religions popped up and eventually got lost in either war or got buried somewhere due to volcanic activity or something. Or it was on Atlantis, which has never been rediscovered ;) *Background* If you'd have picked a different background, there would've been a few interactions with your mother during the various games. It's not of importance to your Shepard, but I figured it's an interesting fun fact to know how things play out differently with different backgrounds you could pick during character creation. The buildings you see there are most likely sheds like you've seen in previous games, like when you explored ME1 on planets or Eden Prime, where your family or squad lived during the attack on Mindoir. *CAT6* Did you notice the enemies are much stronger than what you're used to? This is kind of how it feels when you're playing on Insanity difficulty, where all enemies are significantly harder to kill. You'd feel that especially when your overpowered pistol wouldn't do as much damage ;) That's usually not that much of a problem, except when you go up against Brutes or Banshees. In particular that mission on Palaven's moon with the Brutes, on Tuchanka where you go up against three Brutes, the Monestary where you encounter those Banshees and the Leviathan mission. Those become really difficult.
You shouldn't feel guilty about not taking the others. The game keeps track of how many times you take each companion. It's specifically programmed so the ones you take the least, ALWAYS complain. For example, if you never let Garrus go on any missions, he'd be the one complaining.
Chris, the reason you kept losing at the races.. did you not see the numbers above each of them? 8:1, 4:1, etc. That's the (casino's) projected odds that they'll win. The reason they kept losing is you were betting on 4:1 odds. The 2:1, 4:1 and 8:1 odds occasionally still win, because if they didn't, it wouldn't be gambling (and your winnings are multiplied if they do). Everyone would be betting on the 1:1 odds, all the time.
About drinks, I don’t think bartender made stuff up. You didn’t play femshep so you not privy to some hilarious details, like drell producing venom thru skin, if I remember correctly. Mildly hallucinogenic for humans.
Chris, I think you keep mixing things up about AIs. They were illegal way before Geth, in fact quarians were skirting the laws on AI when making geth. So geth apprisingwas seen as big ‘told you’ by council And you mistook footage with Krogan overlord, krogans already muscled in on several worlds and then annexed asari’s colony. And when confronted by council literally attacked them. I mean Shepard killed Udina for stunt like that 8v
Note to self: DO NOT ever let Chris anywhere close to a casino.
That was hilarious to watch.
@Raivo_K Hilarious AND terrifying at the same time 😂

Chris blessing us with a four hour long episode for the weekend 🎉
It was nice to hear Javik laugh.

Chris continuously forgetting about Liara XD Not taking your girl on a heist is a crime, Shepard is so in trouble 😂
@@soundofmadness6103 Casino date night... I'm sure my girlfriend will forgive me for going with Wrex.

Now that the DLC's story is over... in the immortal (20-year-old, WHAT IS TIME?????) words of Anakin Skywalker, _"This is where the fun begins!"_
Uncle Urdnot has a present for you!
Your mastery of casino was quite remarkable.
Chris: I don’t have gambling problem!
Tali will remember that (lmao)
Going through this with Chris is going to be amazing😊
Oh the Brooks revelation 😬
Those mercs almost stole the most legendary ship in the galaxy respect 💯😂
