Danish is super easy to learn, but the pronunciation in Danish is a bit complicated and the Danish accent isn’t very easy to imitate, so they require more practice, kinda like the German accent which is also not easy to imitate, while the Norse / Gothic / Icelandic / Faroese / Dutch / English / Norwegian / Welsh / Breton / Cornish accents and pronunciations are the easiest to imitate and learn, and I highly recommend learning them all together with Danish as they are the prettiest languages ever created and they are way too pretty not to know - I can technically understand most Danish words when reading the subtitles because I am advanced level in Norwegian Bokmål and Icelandic and upper advanced level in Dutch and upper intermediate level in Norse and German, even though I am beginner level in Danish, so it’s very easy for me to learn the Danish words!
siti raudoh it is not that hard. You just need to fjrnfjdkiuu fjfodd lkkjuij and then fjfjjjjaaa cnfngkff. Don’t forget to fjfofifuuaaa asbbbfhrhg and then you have learned it. Hope you have a good day ( håber du har en god dag)
Klos19871 Klos The contribution of new videos to our channel depends on many volunteers from all over the world who decide to contact us and create new episodes in their language. Recently we've been also doing our best to reach out on our own to other people who could provide a long term sustainable production, but this kind of process takes time. For some years Easy German and Easy Spanish also produced their videos only occasionally until they were able to devote themselves to a regular production, but we really searching for more people who will be as devoted as these teams are, and we'll always do our best to have regular episodes in as many languages as possible.
This depends. "Easy" is highly subjective. For most English speakers, Scandinavan languages are simple. Pronouncing them isn't so simple. On the other hand, Italian, Croatian and Catalan aren't difficult to pronounce but structurally they are different. Counting in Croatian is a nightmare for English speakers! 😂😉
I don't know much danish but when I listen to them and watch subtitles it's so relaxing and much easier than German. My eyes are get very tired watching German.
Thing is, there aren’t many consonants that are pronounced in many of the Danish words, as lots of the consonants are either silent or pronounced like a vowel, for example, v is usually pronounced u / w like in the English words hoop / work etc, so ovn is pronounced oun and liv is pronounced liu / liw, but I am beginner level in Danish, so maybe these examples aren’t correct, but it’s like that in general - but even though I am beginner level, I can understand most words in Danish when reading the subtitles, and also most words in Faroese and Gothic etc, because I am advanced level in Norwegian Bokmål and Icelandic and upper advanced level in Dutch and upper intermediate level in Norse!
If you use it casually like the guy in the video, it's just used for emphasizing something, but it can also express irritation if you use it in other contexts. In the video he says "Det må sgu nok være vejret" which means "I guess that would be the weather", without the sgu in this sentence, the translation would just be "That would be the weather" so here it emphasizes the doubt. Sgu doesn't have a direct translation and is mostly just a filler word, but it, in general, it makes sentences seem more informal/casual, even though it can also be considered rude depending on the tone, therefore it's probably best to wait with using it in the beginning. I'm sorry for this long explanation, I didn't realize how confusing the word actually is
I've spent over a year of my life in denmark due to cumulated vacations and never went beyond "hej" and "nyet kartoffler"... until I descided to learn danish... AND OH BOY, is your language only a language that mimics to be its own language... buuut the pronounciation and hidden words between words because you talk so freaking fast.... Hav et godt... see you summer 2024... the guy speaking bad danish would be me
Finally more Easy Danish. Easy Icelandic in near future maybe? I think that icelandic is beautiful language. Förstår lite danska. Hälsningar från Sverige. :-)
Mange Tak. Oh God its super difficult to find a danish course or even learn danish community in my country, maybe i just didn't find it yet :). So the one and only i can do to learn, its from social media and books, do thanks for made this video :)
Swedish is pretty, but it is not as pretty as the other Norse languages - the prettiest languages ever created are Norse / Gothic / Icelandic / Faroese / English / Dutch / Norwegian / Danish / Welsh / Breton / Cornish which have the best and coolest pronunciation rules and sounds (that are the most modern-sounding) and the best and most organized aspect and spelling rules etc (that are the most modern-looking and the lightest) and the best and prettiest words and word endings and letter combinations and sound patterns and diphthongs etc, so I highly recommend learning them all together, as they are way too pretty not to know, plus one can also learn the other Germanic / Celtic languages like Swedish and Irish and German and Proto Germanic and Forn Svenska and Óld English etc together!
I am from Sweden and I don’t understand a third of what they’re saying without subtitles. I understand most of the words as I read them but the listening… gosh. I guess go better if I study more and consistently. I don’t really care about speaking but I need to be able to understand it better because I’m going to a Nordic camp where a lot of danish people are gonna be too Thanks for the video!
I’m learning german, and I poked in here because I was curious. I’m now leaving this video utterly baffled that danish is supposedly easier for English speakers than german.
The grammar is a lot more intuitive to an English speaker than German. The word order is similar to English's and there are no cases to learn like in German. There are also only two grammatical genders instead of three. The biggest obstacle I've had is the pronunciation.
I see now, Danish is hella easy. You just swallow two thirds of what's written, chew and spit out what's left, in no particular order. Let the people figure your point out themselves.
You guys should do a language video in Montenegro. I know you guys have easy Serbian and Croatian but it would be nice if you could do an episode of “easy Montenegrin” in Montenegro😃😃
I came here after watching a video that said “Danish sounds like a throat condition” (which I personally found offensive tho I’m no Dane) But damn, is it a beautiful language! 😃 I’m sure it’s quite easy to learn once we keep listening...
If you can repeat the sentences at the end more slowly focusing on practicing the pronounciation, it will be absolutely perfekt. Otherwise it is too hard to repeate after and take on some Danish. Thank you. I appreciate it anyway.
Finally ez-Danish came back! 3 years, my gosh...

Omg I'm trying so hard to just focus on what they say but what on my ears was just "blwleahuialearduvhadelea.."
It gets better the more you practice :)

Thank you Dimitris :)
WOW, talking about a language difficult to grasp!! SO soft and liquid, one can't barely recognize what consonants are in any word.

My favorite Scadinavian language is Swedish. I hadn t listened Danish so much.

They're saving it for hard times!

I guess danish language is so difficult - that they feel relax about every other stress in life compare to their language.
I dunno her name, but the woman in red is so cute😍
When I watch a movie I'd rather set danish subtitles, not german....danish is easier than german for sure!
there is no easy here..
Fuckin sounded exactly like like Swedish. What's the point of learning European languages when they're almost the same 😂
Ha, well, it is useful if you want to live in or visit Denmark :)

Gosh it only sounds like they are pronouncing 50% of the words! But I do enjoy listening to them talk…an interesting language nonetheless.
sorry but danish sounds a bit funny 😁
Wenn ich nach Dänemark gehe, gehe ich im Sommer. Der Herbst gefällt mir nicht. Ich haße den Winter. Es ist nicht mein Bier.
Lol why do i only hear them saying dradra mramar kdjdjd😂i think its harder than dutch esp the pronounciation
Easy esperanto
It sounds like the sims.
