- Terrifying moments were caught on camera at beaches in Florida and Texas after several people were attacked by sharks earlier this week.

Best way to avoid a shark attack. Got to a pool.

can you not fly a drone at the beach? why do we not have sky cameras installed at the beach? a 100 ft pole with a good camera at the main lifeguard station would do wonders at spotting sharks.

Humans aren't supposed to be in the ocean, just like hiking Everest or swimming in the swamps of Florida.

It's still more dangerous on land with other humans.

Stay out of their area...the ocean belongs to them...they were not attacks or these people would be dead.
Summer is the worst time to be in the waters on the Gulf or the Atlantic. It's Shark Season April to October in Florida, I only go to the beach in Florida from December to March just for these reasons. It's too risky. I fish a ton during Shark season in Florida and so many Bull Sharks are present it's nuts, Whale Sharks, Mako Sharks, Great whites and even Orcas. But people will never adhere. What also makes it worse is fishing right on the beach, people who fish on the Beach are luring sharks to the shores even more, it only makes it worse.

Unprecedented? Really? Shark attacks have happened before so not unprecedented. Amazes me how people are outraged over shark attacks in the ocean. Where do they expect a shark to go? Humans amaze me. Take all the land to build on and put many animals out of their homes and now mad over sharks attacking in the ocean
People like YOU amaze me. We evolved here. We're native to this planet. We have to live on land because that's our habitat, and YES we have to build shelters. We have a great capacity for building things. What do you think we should do instead, stand around and wait for something to happen so we can survive?

Yeah, I don't know why they bother saying that. I like sharks, but fish have small brains and are only focused on eating or breeding. Since more than one person was "investigated", I'd say the shark liked what it tasted.

@@damnu8089 my point is I recognized the dorcel fin of this shark and i know exactly who he is. He went rogue during the summer of 2007 last I heard he was in port A but I guess he made his way to south padre by the looks of it.

If the boat is sinking, water goes over the battery, the boat is sinking. Do I stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted, or do I jump over by the shark and not get electrocuted?"
