Thanks, this really helps with understanding the six psalms.
I really like the idea is using "Better than I deserve" instead of "okay", "well", etc. Those responses are so fake, but it's what our culture calls for, and I have no idea what else to say, especially to non-Orthodox, whom will probably not "get it".

Man, I've definitely been crossing myself during the Alleluia's in the middle of The Six Psalms. I'm usually the only one who attends the early part of Matins at my parish so I had no idea! Awesome tip, I'm looking forward to attending Matins tomorrow morning and not crossing myself at this point of the service, ha!

I just purchased the full size version of the Newrome Press prayer book, and discovered they have the six Psalms in the morning prayers. I dont always utilize them in my morning prayers.
Its def a different translation...
It is. Based on that of Fr Ephraim Lash, the prayer rule therein is of Nea Sketi on Mt Athos. Enjoy!

I have the full size New Rome Orthodox Christian Prayer Book.
The Six Psalms are in the Morning Prayer section. Thank you for reminding us to pray them often/daily.
I really like the New Rome full size as I'm older and can read the large print easily with out my reading spectacles.
I should have mentioned that. I have the full size edition myself, and find it much easier to read as I am slowly becoming a middle aged man.

That's a hard question. If you're able to sure, why not. But that's just my opinion. I would recommend you get in contact with an Orthodox priest.

@OrthodoxReview that was my question also. Don't know, probably wouldn't matter, that's why this isn't a feasible prediction even if you said Jerusalem time ,because time will be no more time. But the end of man's time. It will happen no matter what time it is in your own time zone. I guess everyone will awaken to it even in there drunken passed out state if mind. Nothing impossible with God.
