I found out that Insteon company went out of business about a month ago. I have four wireless Wi-Fi cameras device 46 and a p/n# 2245-222 hub box. Right now is useless for the hub box. I hate to throw them away. Furthermore, I was wondering if these cameras are good to use on any wireless Wi-Fi NVR unit or a non-wireless NVR unit to hook up the internet cables from the cameras? These cameras do have an internet port on them, I am sure these cameras are IP, they will work like the PTZ IP when installed it's upside down. Which NVR wireless or non-wireless system would you recommend for the Insteon Wireless WI-FI cameras device 46? Please let me know Aiman, thank you.
It kept trying to make me scan a qr code and it wouldn't work. What finally worked for me was downloading icsee pro. Not the regular icsee. Setting my password. Then turning off my mobile data on my phone and turning off the wifi calling. . Then I held the reset button for 10 seconds on the camera. Went thru the steps. Didn't ask me for the qr code this time. Connected like normal thank god!. No more standing on a ladder just so the camera can NOT read the code.

I have had a critter problem in my chicken house lately and installed a game camera because recording takes up too much space and I haven't been able to set it up on one of my PCs. The game camera showed it tracked the critter very well.

Try connecting it by wire Ethernet cable first straight from the modem and see if it connects like that, hopefully it will connect to WiFi automatically
Record Switch - If you wish to set the camera to record continuously then enable this option. If you wish to set the camera to record based on motion make sure this option is disabled
I have two PTZ Techage cameras, I have tried connecting them to my router without any luck. I've done everything on the planet to get them to connect (even hard wired) but they time out without properly connecting. I've done this numerous times (router is Netgear 2.4ghz) with no success. Could my cameras be bad ? They are brand new out of the box. I've tried Esee Cloud and ICSee apps and still no luck. Any ideas ?? I was told they do not work with my current Techage NVR so I gave up on that also. By the way when I search my WiFi settings I see the camera listed under "my networks" on my IPhone. Both cameras have a internal card also.

Thanks for this. I just had to factory reset the cctv itself. Then click on the plus sign and choose add camera to the same router. It works even if you have different sign ins. You just have to know the password of the cctv you set on the main device.
I have a problem, maybe its in the app because the connection between the camera and the app is really slow, always stuck at 0b/s and sometimes spikes at 50kb/s for a few minutes then spikes back to 0b/s. I don't think I have slow internet cause I can watch youtube videos at 720p without a problem.

Reset from the button like he did, then when it says wait to be configured use the app to set it up, if it takes ages to configure at the top right there should be a QR code and you can point this directly at the camera lens which will set up its WiFi and works better in my opinion

This function is turned off by default because the detection is inaccurate. You can turn it on if needed, but the experience is not very good.

What do you do if there are no voice prompts at all? It just beeps.
Refer to the manual, or contact customer service if that doesn't get you anywhere! Some cameras have different set-up methods!

Reset from the button like he did, then when it says wait to be configured use the app to set it up, if it takes ages to configure at the top right there should be a QR code and you can point this directly at the camera lens which will set up its WiFi and works better in my opinion
