There is a bit of a irony of you getting sponsored by World Of Tanks.. Which nowdays is very much P2W trash game with studio which wants to squeeze out all the money remaining from this game
Just a bit of grinding and hey champ thats ALOT of valuable stuff you didnt pay for you earned for yourself. And Warframe slots are worth the cost sometimes
That is exactly how i feel. I used to buy the big packs of platinum when i got the -75% coupon from login rewards (not every time but often) and just buy every cosmetic from the market (other than tennogen). Warframe never made me feel that i have to or need to spend but made me to want to spend. Purely out of satisfaction for playing a good game and wanting to support the developers. :)
Platinum being tradable honestly a huge gamechanger. People who had time to play and farm rarer stuffs have their time spent valued more when people wants to exchange their spare rare loots for platinum. It's rare to get our time wasted on the game valued let alone allowing u to earn premium currency. And for those who bought platinum and spent it on trading not only you making profit for yourself u also respect others' time spent, its basically an efficient work environment.
Exactly, I have spent a fair amount on the game but I have also traded enough to save myself from the cruelty of the rng gods. When something new comes out I usually farm most or sometimes all but if I need or want I can use plat to get that one last annoying piece that won't drop.
@@Magnus_FrausI used to know a guy who made a full-time job out of it his name was jamrock I don't know if he still does it but he's a cool ass Jamaican dude if you find him he could hook you up
I'm not gonna lie. This guy made me tear up. I started this game when I moved to America in 2013. I didn't grow up with games, especially in Nigeria. I was 11 years old, and my dad gave me his old laptop, and I ended up stumbling on Warframe. I remember my little brother and I had to share the keyboard because our hands were too small to play, and we never knew about key bindings. The difficulty of playing a great game with another person pretty much "piloting" a Warframe. We fell in love immediately with the game, and it's was a break from our anxiety from moving continents. I'm now 22, and I haven't dropped the game, and I buy from their markets because I support it. It was my first game, and I appreciate this man for those pleasant words about this game. Thank you for letting me re-live those memories from 10 years ago.
You can support DE by buying plat. If you want to support the player warfame community then use that plat for trade. (Or don’t it your money) In particularly with mid to low-mid mastery ranks players to the stimulate the economy and encourage trade with new sellers / encourage fair prices tru competition. Using plat for market items make that plat dead. A way for DE to artificially deflat the value of plat. Which is insane btw. At best value a 360p prime set can cost $15 at best value or at worst value cost $22 all without charging price in plat…. Again $22 …..for a warfame….. DE IS A BETTER COMPANY BUT THEY ARE STILL UNNECESSARY GREEDY. I do like overall what the did but let not forget the shady stuff the did in the past. BIGGEST example is sneaking in an update that stop stacking farm warfame abilities in an RNG FARM game.
DE has made some money with Warframe, but the reason why AAA companies don't try to make games like Warframe is that they don't want to make "some money", they want **ALL** of the money, they want **EVERY. LAST. BIT. OF. THE. MONEY.** They will use every single predatory monetization under the sun if they have to, and they don't mind that they launch 10 failed live services, if they can get ONE to work. They will never try to make the next Warframe because they're too busy trying to make the next Fortnite or the next League of Legends.
And to quote someone as an addendum: if the can't have ALL of the money, they don't want ANY of it. They will shut down a project that doesn't earn millions in the first week. They will shut it down for costing five cents more to maintain than they wanted it too.
Translation - Most companies fall into the trap that their primary motivation is money and growth, not taking care of their employees, and ensuring the game is worth playing. This motivation is a consistent divider between amazing games, and terrible games.
But players also generally fail to realize that this whole making a shit game and selling said game works. Everyone sees that the player numbers drop and they eventually shut down the servers, but they always wonder how come there's another shit game coming out again. Because it sells, and it sells like hot bread almost all the time. They're making profits 10 times that they invested in it, do you really think they give a damn if tomorrow nobody is playing their game? That's the skeleton crew's job if they even bother to allocate any extra resources to maintain the game. You can't have a business based entirely on your communities love, there's a reason there's only DE, GGG, GSG, Riot and a few others that are successful yet don't earn that much (except Riot of course). It's way easier and ten times more profitable to make another shit CoD every two years because you've got the normies stuck in a cycle that don't know other games exist or don't care. Not to mention that in order to keep a player base interested you always have to innovate. Why do you think Warframe has 100 different systems and how damn many game modes that were just slapped onto the main game? Why do you think PoE keeps making Leagues where they have systems that are a completely different game genres within the game? This takes effort, resources and time; why would I do any of that when I could just make more slop that my normie community will just eat it all up every time I release the same thing with mildly improved graphics and make absolute bank off it every year. Online discourse means nothing when your audience isn't terminally online and is busy with school, work or family and only have 2 hours per day to relax.
@@kaneasax4923 frame fighter is a joke; it never was "good" but after removing bullet jump why even bother? at least with bullet jump it was like rock'em sock'em robots; with grapple used to counter bullet jump pokes... now its just walking toward an awaiting kick to the other side of the screen (but i bet Mag is still one of the best Characters because of pull's auto combo). her and ash always were pretty good.
This right here is actually what made me quit eventually. The game isn't bad, but it's full of bugs and glitches, but they seem to focus more on adding new things than fixing these. And what's more is that so much of the new stuff seems to be actively trying to minimize the stuff you've collected by adding game modes and quests where you can't use any/most of it. Then they announced that the main team left to work on something else and they were going to add a roguelike mode as the main content update (a game genre most known for having to start over and over again), and that was the last straw for me.
One of my core warframe memories was a pop-up I received in-game after queueing up a few new frames at the forge. At first I thought it was just some ad or event card like Destiny 2 would notify you about, but after a quick skim that notion was disproven. It was a request for a survey that opened with a single question: "Do you feel like Warframe respects your time"? I've legitimately never had a game, let alone a live service game at that, show care and consideration for it's players on such an individual level. It could have said nothing and I would have gone on just fine. But it didn't. It actually made an effort to give me the means to review and communicate, even on some distant level, with the game devs. Being given the opportunity to be heard like that made such an incredible impression.
@@numberonedad Not really, on my end. The gameplay itself is quite good! But the grind structure and the storytelling left a lot to be desired for me. Not that they're innately bad, but I prefer other settings and grinds that feel more rewarding than WF's

If that isn’t proof enough of how much DE cares about its players and its game the I don’t know what will
Literally This game has its Own Convention Long before it even got close to where it was now. That's how popular it is, yet noone speaks of it and it is largly ignored by the larger AAA reviewers and journalists.

Warframe is literally the model used by Diablo Immoral Anybody praising that shit needs to understand what a game designed by psychologists ACTUALLY means. Doesn't matter how "fun" the game is to you, understanding that it's manipulating you into enjoying a game that is engineered to be as dull as possible to extend playtime, it uses mechanics that everybody panned Dungeon Keeper 3 for. It uses Fomo mechanics to wrap you up into the game, want a specific frame? Better grind it out before it gets vaulted, you know an entire mechanic used by Gacha games to make you pay money for it. I'm so tired of people praising this game when it's literally THE example of all of the things gamers hate, just made in a way to where none of the mechanics are so bad that anybody "cares" People are too stupid to realize that this game is literally everything we hate about Diablo Immoral, just engineered in a way to where nobody notices.
@@SherrifOfNottingham No base warframe is time gated, and the prime versions you're referring to are on a rotation between times that they're available through relics and are always available if there are people ready and willing to sell their sets.

@@SherrifOfNottingham your singular directly voiced criticism towards Warframe is completely invalid, because that's simply not how it works. The regular non-prime variants of weapons and frames are never vaulted. Prime variants yes, do get vaulted... after a year instead of gacha's typical couple weeks. On monthly rotation there's a Prime Resurgence event which soft unvaults 2 prime frames and their associated weapons. But even while it's vaulted that doesn't preclude you access because trading exists; something that doesn't in any gacha ever because that stops people spending more money to get their own copy of the hit new thing. And even then, the prime variants of frames have almost unnoticeable differences to the regular variant, with prime variants of weapon only marginal improvements for a few extra percent of DPS. I have plenty of weapons and frames that I could have gotten the prime for but I simply didn't care because it doesn't matter. If it bothers you that much, don't give it the time of day. You compare Warframe to Diablo Immortal, yet Warframe doesn't let you spend $2000 rolling upgrades for a chance at an actual improvement when 99% of the time you're going to get garbage. Like many others I'm a former D2 player. Got tired of the stuff we've been served by Bungie lately and saw Warframe after the TGS presentation this last November I'm glad I gave it a try. Have not looked back since. DE has been great as of late (even with its rough stages before Rebb took the reins), and the game itself is amazing to play. The movement is like no other, and it's such a breath of fresh air having a game that is not actively beating you down with constant "tuning" patches that other GaaS games suffer from. Glad more people are discovering Warframe again because it deserves the success.
@JohanMood You fool. Not only are you wrong, you're double wrong. 1) That's still Fashion Frame. 2) Shade Frame is the true final form, wherein your color scheme, and even the picture edits you make, all stylize white to black shading, rather than any color.
Players created a movement tech to cross the map faster. The devs embraced that notion and overhauled their whole system for faster traversal. A player pulled a slot machine hundreds of times trying to get a specific item. The devs saw how predatory this was and removed the slot machine. New players become confused with the new player experience. The devs constantly try to improve the intro sequence. They attempted a new player guidance program. They have in-game help chat. Recently they have prompts that ask you if you know what to do and how they can help you better. Thanks devs.
They did take their time, but at least it's getting easier to start, ngl, it was rough going through early game all on my own, Warframe, like League, is a game that you cannot go alone into unless you've played A LOT of games, otherwise it might feel like too much and you'll just drop it bc it doesn't feel fun.

And not the suits looking at financials thinking they are cash flow positive on good faith and can squeeze just a bit harder for more money. Almost as if sales and financial people dont care about entertainment or good products......
That's the problem with the gaming industry as a wider whole, right there. Penny pinchers at the top don't see games as a form of entertainment, they see a product. It was so much simpler. Im glad I spent money and time with DE. Plat discounts, Plat giveaways just for watching streams. like these things arent real with even triple A titles. DE cares more about keeping the players happy then anything else. I remember when mirage Prime came out and her Hall Of Mirrors split her into 4 copies but because she didnt BOW like in her trailer the community asked for the change. Never played the game, but I actually got choked up listening to this. It is heartwarming to know that a company like this is out there. This is how gaming should be. You've convinced me to push this game to the top of my backlog.
Another game that follows suit in a similar fashion as Warframe when it comes to both building a small but engaged community as well as having arguably the best monetization across the industry is Deep Rock Galactic. As far as I'm aware, there is no premium currency ingame, all DLC is cosmetic only, and the seasonal passes are free - as well as entering an evergreen reward rotation after the season is over. There is no FOMO, there is no overmonetization, there is only a solid game with a fun community. Doesn't hurt that the tone of the game also is somewhat lighthearted. And as an IP, they even expanded upon it now, as they iirc released 2 more games in their IP-verse. Vastly different games, yet they have the full trust of the community, even if we don't like the games genrewise.
I've played Warframe off and on for years and it's staggering how much it's grown. Went from just running and gunning Grineer in similar tilesets and while a lot of fun was a bit simple. Now it's an incredibly dynamic experience with more story depth and varied gameplay than I ever expected.
i'd like to question that "story depth" you've mentioned there: i've been playing warframe since autumn 2014, when archwing came out i onboarded every friend i could find to try this game out. i played it solely on the merits of it having good performance and mechanics (co-op play was a big plus for me), like a free-to-play toy. but i always found that claims of it having some sort of story as a very big stretch. it never had a coherent story from my pov, only snippets that barely made sense for the particular game mechanic introduced in that moment, which they promised to coerce into some coherent thread in some later updates. am i wrong?
I started playing 10 years ago, because I was bored and wanted some online game where I can spend a 30 minutes to an hour a day. I stayed for the story and because DE doesn't want to fleece me out of every penny I have. Korean FOMO slop comes and goes, Warframe is forever.

Warframe is what every live service game aims to be. A living, breathing ecosystem. One that actually FEELS like it is alive, like you are really part of this system. Part of this feeling comes from the Market system, and how I can literally turn into a merchant for a play session if I feel like it. This allows me to earn the in-game premium currency and buy real items (items you can only get with premium). It's such a refreshing change. I have given them real money in the past as well. Not because they asked, but because I truly value this game and how far it's come. It doesn't feel like I'm being taken advantage of. It feels like the game and I are growing together. Something I've never felt with another franchise.
I have gave DE real money because they have shown me they care about my time and energy, they also show that they care about you via Ordis, making him funny, relatable but also help you spot you've been playing for too long

Path of Exile also is a great example of how to run a live service game and treat its players well. Particularly the new league. Its like a whole new game. I have years of playing both Warframe and PoE.
I still remember, 6 years ago, with few hours of trying to figure out the game, when someone give items, warframe & weapon slots to me for free, without even want me to thank him. The single thing he want from me, to do the same when i could to another new player. Sometimes was the single reason to login, to answer to a call for help of a new player.
been there on both sides. as someone who received help from veteran players, and as a veteran who helped new players. cant play the game currently, but warframe is one of those games where you feel rewarded for helping others.
Same with me when I started. The guy gave me Frost Prime, and 200 plat. Helped me with a few missions before he went to work, and only asked that I return the favor to someone else. I have around 8 times so far, be it a frame, or a bundle.
Yeah, Warframe is truly unique in that its community genuinely loves the game, and love it when more people feel the same. I mean, how many other games can you think of that have veteran players supporting newer players because they genuinely want to, not because they benefit from it. Most games that don’t incentivize helping other players tend to result in players not doing so, and sometimes veteran players will even hate newer players because “they dont know how to play.” They’re new players, the frick do you expect? In some rare cases, it can even go beyond just veteran players hating new players, and the veteran players are actively hostile to new players, trying to drive them away and sabotage their enjoyment, like what happened with Armored Core 6. A lot of people really wanted to enjoy the game, and often they do enjoy it, but then they reach a point where they can’t keep progess because they’re new to the series and dont have the knowledge to get past it. The problem though, is that when those newer players reached that point, and they asked “hey, i really enjoy this game, but im stuck. How can I beat this part? Any suggestions?” the vast majority of the suggestions they get is “skill issue” or “get out of here journalist” or even “you cant beat this? Lmao get the frick out of here, you dont belong here. Never show yourself here again.” And they stop playing, because they’re actually being bullied for not being “good enough.” And I’m not just saying this, because this actually happened to me when I wanted to try out Armored Core 6. I _wanted_ to enjoy the game, but the veteran players actively told me that I didnt deserve to enjoy it, that I wasn’t wanted in the community, that I was effectively subhuman because I was struggling with something that the vast majority of people, including most of the people saying these things, had struggled with. Many of them know how hard said part was, but they refused to help others who were struggling because they all have the mindset of “i beat it, you cant, therefore im better than you, therefore you suck.” In short, dont be like the Armored Core 6 community. Dont shun someone because they ask for help. Instead, be like the Warframe community, and actually help when someone asks for it. Its one of the main reasons why Warframe has such a large, active community even 11 years after it launched, because new players actually feel welcomed and supported.
me and my friends have bought plat several times and I don't think we've ever regretted it, or felt angry because of the costs of some trading items. With time some of the rarest things have only become more accessible even to low-spenders and free to plays. The prices on arcane energize literally crashed once arcane dissolution was added, which was a HUGE change
16:59 - The fact that the weapons and warframes need so much time is not a real problem as there is SO MUCH to do aside. Trust me, I'm a Warframe founder and I still have SO MUCH things to do… When I launch a craft, I almost forget it as I focus on other tasks. You should try too, the time won't be a problem anymore for you. xD
i love warframe ,skiping the farmville timers on crafting items and buying things for 15 cents from some free to play loosers made me understand that there is no integrity in owning anything , the economy is fake , and the players like being enslaved for 20 plat while shouting the free to play experience is great 😂😂😂😂
I just recently got into warframe. I tried it once in 2015, but never made it past the first 30 minutes. Now I have over 100 hours in the past few weeks. I am so sorry that I never gave this game the time it deserved.
Don't be too hard on yourself. Warframe is vastly different today than it was in 2015, and there are valid reasons as to why it's so hard for new players to get started. Trying to get my friends into Warframe is like pulling teeth 💀
Perfect time brother, hope you got the free saryn prime from the Tennocon stream. Also, keep playing cuz next update they wil be giving out a free Caliban with his rework.
And then they added Riven mods, generally considered lootboxes in all but name (thankfully entirely unnecessary, but new players may not realize this), even by affiliated content creators (see Brozime's videos from around the time), or the entire, absolutely disgusting, 10th anniversary debacle. Still love the game, threw them a bunch of cash during the Founders days and have been playing pretty consistently since then, but DE isn't perfect, and it's up to the community to keep them accountable, but sometimes the money-making potential still wins out, as in the above examples.
Shout out to the member of my Warframe clan who told me to check this video out. I've been a diehard Destiny 2 player since The Red War, and with everything that has gone on with the game in the recent years, (and especially in the last month-yikes) I finally made the conscious decision to try out Warframe and perhaps leave D2 behind. I am so thankful to have started this game and I am beyond myself on how in-depth the gameplay is, how smooth and solid the mechanics are, and how much fun it truly is. Build crafting has a whole new meaning when it comes to this game. Looking forward to seeing all that Warframe has to offer. Thank you for this video, made me feel a whole lot better about my decision to support this game and this company. Subscribed.
The state of the gaming industry is pretty sad. A bunch of businessmen, with all their business school/experience, failing to realise that people WILL pay for a good product. One of the small things in the game is the vouchers for purchasing plat that one gets for merely logging in. They give 50% and sometimes 75%. The thing with these vouchers is that they are a HUGE incentive for players that are on the fence about paying. When they get one, they go "hey maybe I should drop some cash on plat, I got this voucher so I'm getting more value out of it". One thing about in-game-premium-currency in games is that they inherently have no real value, the only value is the price tag the developers put on them. As such, there is no real loss to give players vouchers from time to time to ENCOURAGE them to spend a little. Sure, a player is getting 50% more plat than they are paying for, so what? Plat isn't real currency that the studio is minting, there is no loss giving players a 50% voucher. These vouchers instead turn a non-paying player into a satisfied paying player. Ita mindboggling how the very concept of discounts for premium currency is so foreign for games when it should logically be in all games that has premium currency.
Fr, they really think "Oh, then they'll go for the newer skins with more effects and all the effort instead of paying it fully", like, what if instead of trying to rip off players with a 500$ skin (Looking at you Riot), you just give them a discount so they actually buy your premium currency instead of not buying at all bc it's too expensive?
The bad part is people WILL pay for a bad product as well all you need is a good trailer really , keeping a game running is prolly more of a hassle to them , they just want the intro buy in cost . Its a sick hustle / scam
And it isn’t random. I’ve noticed that when I log out for long periods of time they will almost always have a discount waiting for me. Perhaps it’s client based and they log how many purchases you make (I’m heavily invested in this game and have likely spent thousands over the near decade I’ve been playing) but regardless it does work as an incentive since I tend to hoard my Platinum between prime access drops.
26:20 Ayy that's my hollowframe poster in the back!! Such a prime example of how well DE (especially Rebb) treats their community, showcasing the art and creations of their players at every turn and giving the playerbase as much attention as they would like in return. I was invited into the creator program last December and I still can't get over it, from the direct and casual lines of communication with members of the team to the free Tennocon VIP passes and so so much more it's actually nuts. Truly an amazing studio and an amazing game ❤
I'm not sure where I would be without this stupid game lol, I'm an art major in college rn but I don't think I could've maintained my love for art and improved as much as I have without such a lovingly made game and community like Warframe
I recently passed my User Experience exam in my gaming university course and the player (the user) is what everything should gravitate around. From when you first hear about the game to what feedback they get and how they talk about it to other people. Pablo has been focusing on User Experience himself, what we know as Quality of Life changes, and it's been having such a good feedback. Warframe devs has been constantly addressing and talking to the community and I'm so glad of that. The involvment with the community is something so good for the game ❤ Edit: thank you so much for your insights throughout the video as well as the ending segment, really pierced through my heart
I'm a career Destiny players since it's Beta in D1. I hold world records for speedruns in 3 raids as well as Raid Race top 50 completions on Day 1 races as well as Top 100 Speeds and clears ranking my account had over 8k hours.....My account was banned last month because I used a macro to dismantle a currency item so I had more space for more items in my inventory, it takes 5 seconds of holding the delete key to dismantle 1. I had 999 so I used a macro to hold delete for me and ended up banned a week later. I received no help and no support once appealing my ban. Bungie literally said to fuck off. So here I am about to begin on Warframe. This video fills me with hope that I will enjoy my journey in Warframe as much as I did if not more on Destiny.
Dude, that's terrible. But I too gave warframe a try after 5k ish hours on d2, and yeah it's really fun. Only thing holding it back is crafting timers, but there's so much to do. You'll love it
@@g.ivan-center2647 Fantastic so far! It's a little confusing and overwhelming but I honestly love this, I can't believe I wasted so much time on Destiny when I could be playing Warframe!
Damn, that sucks. Well, welcome to Warframe. The begining might be confusing at first. You're kinda dropped in without much directions and you need to figure out what you need to do. Unlocking planets will be your first progression to focus. The crafting timer might seem like a big turn off at first, but once you realise there is so much stuff to do, you end up forgeting stuff in your foundry that are done crafting XD If you need help for anything, don't hesitate to ask in global chat or to go see a twitch streamer and ask for help.
Since '15, I've bought several prime access packs to support DE. A $50-ish pack once a year or so is like purchasing any other new game, but I'm supporting the same studio.
prime pack was painful especially for the full set, i ended up only buying hydroid prime pack full price, then later chroma prime pack at regional pricing, bcs the prices didn't made sense before regional pricing
Honestly dont even mind spending money on this game, I’ve been playing it so long and it’s only gotten better over time. Also helps the community is lovely compared to other online games.
I've had warframe installed for so long and got on and off throughout the years, confused and overwhelmed. I came from Apex and for two weeks I've played warframe like crazy and it's SOOOO DAMN GOOD! I regret not playing this game earlier but this game is a 10 out of 10 for me. So fun, grindy but a good grindy. I actually want to grind the game. Apex isn't anything but a cash grap with shooter elements second. Warframe and its story is incredible and I hope this game just gets even better
As a long time player x founder supporter I'm so glad of what warframe has become throughout the years, sure I do miss the whole stealth ninja aesthetics they had back then but I know DE had to adapt to survive and if they didn't imo we wouldn't have such an amazing game we have today. Its honestly one of the only few games I happily come back from a short/long hiatus, this is a game that keeps on giving and you'll never doubt that something fresh is always on the horizon when it comes to this game. Its been an amazing 11 years for you all and I'm glad to be part of the wf community.
It's been years since I've played, truth be told I've forgotten loads of how it was. But as soon as you utter the words "the second dream" memories come back. It's like you opened a box hidden somewhere deep inside my memories.Time to install the game again I guess...
Warframe has been in my game rotation since 2013. I am a proud founder. This game as come so far, and it’s still so fun to get together with some friends and chat while we obliterate stuff. Looking forward to Sevagoth Prime!
Imagine family fun with Wf. Have 2 kids and you can go full squad. Have a giant board in the middle of the house, writing what you need to farm or such.
Farming Prime parts from Void Relics while listening to this in the background, I honestly dont think I disagreed with anything said here was pretty much just a "Yeah that sounds about right". Edit: I forgot to mention this bit but what keeps me coming back dispite having 3000-4000 hours played is that there is always something new to grind out, and even when im done grinding for the day sometimes I go to the railjack to veil proxima and attack the Sentient Murex just because or maybe I'll just chill in an open world or I'll replay a quest with a different loadout to see the difference. There really is no end to the fun you can have with this game with the proper mindset.
I agree with all your points, as someone who sunk 2K+hrs into Destiny 2, then quit when Crapfall was released, I started playing Warframe because I needed a cure for that interplanetary grind, Warframe accomplished that for me, I hated that in D2 you needed to grind every week in order not to be left behind, meanwhile in Warframe I can stop whenever I want, come back months later and pick up where I left of, also Bungie has a nasty habit of removing content that we already paid for, while Warframe you can play the entire game from start to the latest update. Personally I did not care how good the Final Shape was, I refuse to pay Bungie a single dime, plus I've been on Linux for a while now, another factor preventing me from falling into temptation LOL EDIT: I forgot to mention that when I started playing D2 when it arrived on Steam, many times while doing strikes, I would get insulted because I had crappy gear and was clueless of what to do against champions in the game, meanwhile in Warframe I ask for help in the global game chat and I get several answers, even more if I go to the Discord channel... That's the type of community I appreciate, I am not saying there's no trolls or griefers in WF but I still haven't come across one in the nearly 900hrs I have put into the game.
Honestly I'm right behind you I'm going to finish up this last expansion play this last season and then on tapping out of destiny 2 don't even care what the other two seasons are I don't want to get rehooked on it again. Most I might do after that is go back to D1 and finally fully finish the game (some rise of iron stuff I haven't finished) but myself and my buddy is in my clan want to move on to a game that has a lot less fomo than destiny 2 and Warframe is looking pretty good right now
I quit destiny 2 at shadowkeep. Imagine buying a dlc for 30$ and finished it in fxxking 5 hours and also they decided to expire weapon you grinded for dozens of hours because they want to sell new contents. It's just the worst paying experience I even had. Not again, goodbye destiny 2. If you buy platinum with 30$. You could probably get dozens hours of content in warframe. And about map or quests? DE didn't even ask you to pay for these.
@@mmis1000 dude, I am leaving destiny too . Their bullshit is getting too much to handle . But you genuinely missed out and left too early. You have like atleast 1000 hr of epic content left .final shape is their final dlc. I'll complete this session then put it to it's deathbed .. like most destiny player will .
Honestly, I got so addicted to this game because of what an insanely massive sandbox game it is. You're always searching for something new, a cool part here and another there, trying new builds and mods that create a whole new concept for a frame you've had for 90 hours. I love the customizable design of this game, how easy it is to connect to others, and most importantly, you can see the pay it forward attitude of this community. I never have to worry about being alone or isolated because im an introvert. People genuinely love and care about this game, i am so passionate about it and the incredible devs always working to make something beautiful even better. This game has something for everyone, genuinely! It's so good you can take a break for a couple months, come back, and rediscover that passion all over again. Thanks to every single one of you in this game who's taken your time to bring up the next tennos. I love you guys. Best place to be
The reason most developers don't follow Warframe's design is because of how greedy many publishers are; they're more than happy to erode player's good will to make a few extra bucks
warframe monetization is indirect slavery that is justified only by people who know nothing better and think selling items for 20 cents worth of platinum is good because you can grind the premium currency withouth paying , this is the worst way to make pay to skip content ,why? because instead of buying from a shop you are buying hundreds of hours from other players and is bad for the economy long term , nothing has any large worth because anyone can just swipe and own it , i would rather a thousand times play a game like POE that has everything for free and you can spend 30 dollars in convenience storage once you think you will spend more time playing the game and have it forever than have people straight make a game not even have a decent economy because they want more money with pay to skip currency
I'm not sure you how long you have been playing Warframe but I think it's important to understand that updates were slow and lower quality before DE got Tencent money. Also DE has a much much smaller pay roll than most of the companies you are speaking about. It's easy to just assume greed but I think it's important not to go too far in one direction
@@MrRafagigapr bad take, when i was new i would crack relic to earn plats and skip the timers, it would only take like 40 minutes, this was when i was new but in end game it's even easier as i have better stuff to sell.
Warframe is literally the nice guys of the MMORPG genre, yeah they have their mishaps from here and there but the reason why they are so beloved is because they are an actual company that from the beggining has placed the player satisfaction and interest infront of anything else. Just make money by doing a good product and being nice to people is all that we need, thats it.
@@therightperspective8690 Look up what MMO means kiddo; A game doesn't have to be like WoW or FF14 in terms of "players per instance" to be an mmo. Use the brain you claim to have.
Don't forget Tennogen. A system in which unbelievably talented members of the community create skins for Warframes, weapons etc. By buying them you not only support DE but primarily the Creator! So money FROM the community, FOR the community! I love it so much ❤
fun fact: there's a self taught 3d artist from the philippines who got his sister through college and even funded renovations for his parents' house with the money he earned in the tennogen program
Man... Truer words had never been said! What a great video... explained all the issues that I've had with modern games and gaming companies nowadays, and what better game than Warframe to compare those games to. Warframe truly has the fairest monetization of any free to play live service game I've ever come across. Great video, honestly 👌🏻
33 minute video I kept having to rewind, took me an hour. Thanks man I really enjoyed it, and your cat might have either a flashlight or became an elder god.
I was there in the alpha days of warframe. i remember how dark warframe was and how terrifying it is to first time fighting the infested swarm in tight corridors. and then there was the founder's program. im so glad to be part of the founder's program and see warframe like my baby grew up so much to now being an identity and valued by gamers. I'm a happy warframe parent
Not only that, but she experiments with it first was duveri which was mixed. Then she hit us with stalker's back story which was well received and made people cry. Then 1999 straight up hit us with a boy band which the player base absolutely love. She out here, going. "Good luck figuring out what I want to put next"
@@Rhino-Prime I just hope their weaboo tendencies don't get in the way as at times it felt like whole plot points and tropes come from the trashy anime of today which I have grown to loathe for various reasons. They make it known they're big anime fans time and time again and much of that bleeds over into the storytelling which can be mixed at times.
@@Ziko577Well their story as of right now doesn't seem generic. Whereas other anime tends to be like "power of friendship! Blah blah blah". Warframe story is about taking away the pain of something that is ugly. Which ngl as of right now is pretty unique
GGG is to me similar to DE in the fact that they care for players and their opinions. Sure they have to make money to keep the whole ship afloat, but they will admit when they make mistakes and correct it. Tons of free quality content added regularily etc. I really respect them both
GGG otherwise known as Grinding Gear Games (developer of Path of Exile) is another great example or perhaps an even better example of developers who just love their game and players and genuinely want their game to grow and expand their community as a whole.
GGG made a decent game, but they still suffer from some of the same issues as Warframe, just not to such an extent. Farming specific items has become a bit easier, and with in game trade using in game currency you don't pay real world money for, period, it's a bit easier to get what you need. The league mechanics and content updates sometimes stick around so there's only a _chance_ at FOMO, but FOMO for specific items DOES exist, but again not as bad. They do try to form an addiction by implementing certain elements, and most time gates are for player protection (IE to prevent you from doing nothing but heist or delve, etc. and getting bored of it), and not as a means to prevent players from over farming a certain mechanic. What GGG fails at is making a game that is approachable, or remotely playable for casual players. A large majority of players do not make their own build, and a majority of the people that say they do are following a build guide but modifying it, respeccing is prohibitively costly to discourage creativity and self build attempts. Everybody relies on an aspie that enjoys spread sheets to spend hours hammering out a build on paper, I know, I am that aspie.
@AimbotFreak you are so right about warframe lacking FOMO. I took a 2 year break from gaming, only playing fallout 76 occasionally in that time. A buddy asked me if I'd jump on and see what was new on warframe about a month ago, and I picked right back up where I left off, hunting down frames I didn't have yet and casually grinding out standing with the various factions, and the only thing that had changed in those 2 years was that more content had been added.
Then there is NoMansSky, it has been improved massively over the years. Just like wf and PoE, it gets constant free updates and improvements. Sure, it's not perfect, but it has been slowly becoming something incredible
Honestly, I can't wait for PoE2. PoE1 just has so much bullshit going on with it, that I actually stopped playing it. PoE2 is going to be MILES better.
I have decided to spend money on Warframe after 200 hours of gameplay.. Incidentally it was when i stopped playing solo, joined a clan, started trading... and finished Second Dream.
Man, I really appreciate the lack of cuts in your monologues. You've got an uncanny knack for following a train of thought for minutes on end without mincing words or repeating yourself - truly a focused dude who knows what he wants to say and how to say it. Also love your nuanced takes on the shit you talk about. Hope this channel keeps growing like it deserves to. Keep up the good work, dude.
God I love Warframe it’s such a phenomenon in the gaming industry, with their loyal fans and devs who look out for their community I’m so glad to see Warframe thrive and get recognized. I’m happy I started playing this game in 2016 ever since then I’ve fallen in love with the community the gameplay and lore🙏🏽🙏🏽.
What's even crazier is some of the best gear in the game: lich/sisters weapons etc. you can't buy. Been playing for 9 years and Steam tells me I've spent around $900+ dollars, and I, like everyone else: can access everything; The only thing that's locked out of the game are founders cosmetics, which is honestly fair, they deserve it!❤
I've been playing warframe since it first dropped on xbox one back in 2014, and one of the best things about the game even back then was its community full of people that wanted to help new players, because warframe was even more dense and obtuse back then than it is today. I still fondly remember being a little MR-1 baby volt in his default colors with my MK-1 paris and my Bo and timidly telling a guy who was MR-18 (highest MR at the time) that I wanted frost but didn't have the plat to buy him, and that vet telling me I could earn him for free (i just had to press a button to tab over to the blueprint screen to buy his blueprint for credits back then, which was not intuitive at all for a baby tenno and I'm so glad they changed it lmao), and then promptly taking me to mars to get frost from lech kril and taking me orokin cell hunting after that (which I also thought I had to buy at the time because nowhere did it say otherwise). The community is primarily the reason I stayed, because without that help I know I would have given up back then. Their kindness is something I pay forward even today by helping out baby tennos from time to time, and the community remains one of the strongest aspects of this game, imo.
3:55 "Dark Sector E3 2005" is the correct B-roll footage to use here. 14:55 🤓☝Uh technically the best weapons in the game are incarnon evolutions and lich weapons which can only be earned by playing and can't be purchased. Even if you trade for someone else's lich you have to fight it.
You what?! I've never traded for lich before. I didn't know you have to fight it, to force it to fulfill it's contractual obligation to serve you. That's mess up. But somehow, it make sense in a way, and it's inline with their characters.
my brother got back into it after a VERY long haitus. I informed him of incarnon evolutions. He asked if Dread had one, he was delighted to know that answer was yes.
I saw how player friendly the games shop was and Instantly dropped 60$ in the first few hours to support to game and was more than happy for the value of my money, first purchase “- Titania Prime from the resurgence without knowing anything about Titania. Months later , she’s one of my fav.
Just completed Veilbreaker yesterday, it's fun to watch this series as I'm slowly making my way through this wonderful game and seeing the similar experiences
There are no fans of warframe, just addicts. People that can't see the mechanics that they normally hate being used to make the game worse right in front of them.
@@SherrifOfNottingham And yet people keep coming back every update and the game constantly gets praise for its gameplay, art direction, f2p model, etc... I don't know if you're trolling but I've never seen anyone so dedicated to spouting provably false vitriol at one of the rare good f2p games on the market.
@@SherrifOfNottingham like? The player-driven market fixes basically every issue that F2P brings, other than time investment which... oh no, we have to play more of the game we love! Also warframe has an INSANELY good reward pace, even lategame.
First Descendant is guilty of this. Not to mention their base skin is not dyeable at all, only bought skins are. They are not following the blueprint of WF at all.
@@owensparks5013 Back in 2013, I believed in the games vision. I bought into the Grandmaster Founder with faith that this game would eventually reach it's greatness. To see it become like this is one of the few times in my life that I finally made a good investment. Glad to see it reach even greater heights as the years go by. Gonna be getting myself a Lotus tattoo soon to celebrate
I started at closed beta...invested a little only just to get the excal prime. And was the most well spend money in all my life. I stopped to play several times for different reasons, but every time I came back I am just WOW, with the new content and time and efford they put to the game. Best game ever made for PC in my opinion.
Man that introduction was amazing, too bad you lost me right afterwards with you comparing Warframe to World of Tanks and getting sponsored by them. World of Tanks is the exact opposite of what we want F2P games to be like! World of Tanks is an incredibly predatory, micro-transaction intensive game, not at all the example set by Warframe to the point where I have no idea why you even brought that up. I mean yeah sponsors are sponsors, but if you're talking about Warframe being the 1 good example of the garbage F2P live service model than for the love of god don't bring World of Tanks into this discussion!
@@grannde_ I've seen cynical/goofy/etc sponsorships on TH-cam and this wasn't it. This sounded like he was being genuine, much more than he needed to be considering it was a sponsorship, a fact that I did acknowledge btw.
@@riplix20 yeah obviously a joke but he said it serious And dumb mfs believe he’s serious, world of tanks has no relation to Warframe in any way and came years after it, people are just dumb.
In my opinion, catalysts and reactors are the biggest L in Warframe. You need them for most builds to deal with the steel path later on, but having more mod space lets you tell if a warframe or weapon is worth investing in. I've seen people dismiss good weapons because they thought they were annoying to use or didn't do enough damage due to having limited space. You can earn them, but they're very slow to come by, and the nightwave prices are RIDICULOUS as well as having to compete with other useful items for the same battle pass currency.
This particular point I partially mitigate by not using Catalysts on weapons that are going to receive a prime version or that are going to receive a kuva/tennet/coda (provisional name for the infested equivalent) version.
i feel this. maybe i just don't grind nightwave hard enough but god reactors are a nightmare for me. they're literally THE thing that broke my f2p streak and made me buy plat (granted, with a 50% off coupon). i think mod slots in general could be looked into for a slight rework, especially regarding augment mods. some of them really should just be part of the kit, unlockable through upgrades, or have a separate slot/multiple slots for like exilus slots.
The good thing is, you can farm some prime parts and sell them for plat. Lots of people who have never invested a single cent in this game, earning plat solely from trading. If you need something, try to sell something for plat. Everything goes.
Warframe is still the game with the most hours played on my Steam, and i haven't touched the game in many years at this point. It basically consumed my life for a period of time, It was such a genuinely good game, Albeit with a grind issue, Not sure if its been resolved since then, But when i last played Vauban prime had just come out and was one of the last things i grinded for before putting it down.
I also love how in the Devshorts and Prime Time streams they often bring up other games they are playing. They can only do that because they have made a game that respects players time and let's the player go and play other games (if they want to). The developers at DE love playing games and want to make a game for other people who like playing games which means you need to have time to play other games and not force you to only play one like a lot of Live Service games try and force you to do
This is a really, really good point. The amount of times I've heard Reb or Megan talk about BG3 or Elden Ring or...god I think I remember them talking about spending a weekend playing DOOM 2016? That's something you'd never see the community representatives of another MMO do on their official company streams, but DE does it every week and it clearly hasn't put a dent in the player count. But that's the thing about DE. They have confidence in their product, which they've earned. When you know you've got the best hamburgers in town, you can compliment the local Mexican joint without fear of losing all your customers because the next time they want a burger, they'll be back. And when they're eating their tacos and enjoying them, they'll be thinking of you. Of course, you have to actually make a good product first. That seems to be where most other studios fail, heh.
Alot of players get put off from railjack because at the start it felt like your ship is a little boat but when you get a good NPC crew and have maxed out intrinsics and mods, it suddenly just turns into a starwars spaceship battle lmao

oh yea after 100 hours when I first started, I wanted to give them my money because it was the best 100 hours I've ever had in this type of game.
Warframe and it's community has earned my loyalty.

Well said, most ppl are willing to give you deals and you should be willing to do the same in return
Exactly, I have spent a fair amount on the game but I have also traded enough to save myself from the cruelty of the rng gods. When something new comes out I usually farm most or sometimes all but if I need or want I can use plat to get that one last annoying piece that won't drop.

Yes, in combination with the 75% off discounts you get randomly it's very easy to get all the things you want with not a lot of money
(Or don’t it your money)
In particularly with mid to low-mid mastery ranks players to the stimulate the economy and encourage trade with new sellers / encourage fair prices tru competition.
LAST. BIT. OF. THE. MONEY.**
They will use every single predatory monetization under the sun if they have to, and they don't mind that they launch 10 failed live services, if they can get ONE to work.
@@Makeitworx As the old proverb has it: money is a wonderful servant, but a terrible master.

Warframe is literally the model used by Diablo Immoral
Anybody praising that shit needs to understand what a game designed by psychologists ACTUALLY means.
I'm so tired of people praising this game when it's literally THE example of all of the things gamers hate, just made in a way to where none of the mechanics are so bad that anybody "cares"
People are too stupid to realize that this game is literally everything we hate about Diablo Immoral, just engineered in a way to where nobody notices.

You would be hard pressed to find a slot machine in Warframe, because it doesn't exist.

I am one of Warframe's Founders. We did our job, and DE lived. I have never stopped playing the game since i started back in 2013. This is the only online game i've ever given money to, and they deserve every single cent.
Ty for supporting the game at the start ❤
I bought the founders pack. GrandMaster that shit was 250 bucks. And Looking back at it...I honestly dont remember why I loved the game so much. Go search what warframe was back in 2012 and it was DRASTICALLY different from what we are playing today. Basic frames, basic abilities, Damage resistance wasnt even a thing in any frames kit. BOOM Mirage now bows to activate Hall Of Mirrors! Like its the attention to detail and the love that makes me willing to throw money at the screen and not feel like i should hate myself lol
Thank you for your contribution in giving this incredible game a chance.
what do you feel about the founders who quit the game and now shit on it because they had a bad experience with gen alpha coming into the game after new war?
can you gimme 70 plat for a warframe slot? ;-; i've been a good tenno

Amen.
i'd like to question that "story depth" you've mentioned there: i've been playing warframe since autumn 2014, when archwing came out i onboarded every friend i could find to try this game out. i played it solely on the merits of it having good performance and mechanics (co-op play was a big plus for me), like a free-to-play toy. but i always found that claims of it having some sort of story as a very big stretch. it never had a coherent story from my pov, only snippets that barely made sense for the particular game mechanic introduced in that moment, which they promised to coerce into some coherent thread in some later updates. am i wrong?
@@q01qstory is unfortunately play gated, unlocked near mid-late game
I started playing 10 years ago, because I was bored and wanted some online game where I can spend a 30 minutes to an hour a day. I stayed for the story and because DE doesn't want to fleece me out of every penny I have. Korean FOMO slop comes and goes, Warframe is forever.
How on earth are you making any kind of progress only playing an hour a day? Warframe is one of the grindiest games in existence. There's a reason people call it Warfarm.
@@qu1253 it can be as grindy as you want it to be as long as you are having fun! I play warframe too and the grind is far better in warframe than other games i played for example Lost ark and blackdesert or even VINDICTUS!

I can't get over how close we were to never getting Warframe. If a single thing went wrong then odds are we never would've gotten such an amazing game.
I was there back then but i was in middle school let alone didn't have or know how to buy the founders pack, but i'm glad those who did saved the game when it was needed the most
The good thing about warframe is when you get a burn out you just leave and come back all the content will still be there when you come back
Unlike (destiny)
Plus you'll likely return to a new Warframe or story mission, but it's practically guaranteed there'll be new content when you come back. It's amazing.
I was also gonna say, the same content is available, and if you come back after a while, you'll probably see some new stuff too.
Yesterday I watched my kavat play with a beach ball on my orbiter. Best game ever.
Hellminth gives it a little smooch
I love how they put so much detail into the game, but I hate that some frames don't have more, namely Ember. My girl got 2 amazing skins and a rework, plus she's one of the first, give her a story!
I had tried Warframe 3 times, with many years in between. It looked cool but never could understand what was going on/what to do and never went past the 1st mission. I always wanted to get into it but couldn't. But seeing videos from loyal fans and genuine reactions from, including you, and the community/playerbase interactions in the comments, made me want to give it one more try.
I have been playing the game since your first video came out non stop. 4th time, it really clicked and I love it. Even spent money on it. Addicting game with a lot of love put into it. This game is a masterpiece and thanks for making me want to give it another chance.
I have gave DE real money because they have shown me they care about my time and energy, they also show that they care about you via Ordis, making him funny, relatable but also help you spot you've been playing for too long
Fair point, I'm still salty about wait times and limited inventory slots
Your videos on Warframe convinced me to try the game for the first time nearly 2 months ago. 200 game time hours later, and I am absolutely in love with Warframe. Stay awesome, LD. Thank you again.
This is the way.
Many of them know how hard said part was, but they refused to help others who were struggling because they all have the mindset of “i beat it, you cant, therefore im better than you, therefore you suck.”
In short, dont be like the Armored Core 6 community.
Trust me, I'm a Warframe founder and I still have SO MUCH things to do…
When I launch a craft, I almost forget it as I focus on other tasks. You should try too, the time won't be a problem anymore for you. xD
I agree, I've been kicking around Warframe since CBT, and I still have a list as long as your arm of stuff to get and things to do...
Having the freedom to choose if i spend money or not and having fun at the sametime makes me want to spend money

Subscribed.
It's actually been really fun to move to Warframe with my Destiny clan...or the five people who are still around. We're all learning together.
Its a sick hustle / scam
the managers knowing nothing about games is the fault of these mistakes , that and artist based teams you get 5 cinematics but no gameplay updates
@@rick30521 Yes! Exactly! And you know what your doing the next day after you spent on a new skin? You log back in! Because you want to show it off!
The involvment with the community is something so good for the game ❤

I agree with all your points, as someone who sunk 2K+hrs into Destiny 2, then quit when Crapfall was released, I started playing Warframe because I needed a cure for that interplanetary grind, Warframe accomplished that for me, I hated that in D2 you needed to grind every week in order not to be left behind, meanwhile in Warframe I can stop whenever I want, come back months later and pick up where I left of, also Bungie has a nasty habit of removing content that we already paid for, while Warframe you can play the entire game from start to the latest update. Personally I did not care how good the Final Shape was, I refuse to pay Bungie a single dime, plus I've been on Linux for a while now, another factor preventing me from falling into temptation LOL
EDIT: I forgot to mention that when I started playing D2 when it arrived on Steam, many times while doing strikes, I would get insulted because I had crappy gear and was clueless of what to do against champions in the game, meanwhile in Warframe I ask for help in the global game chat and I get several answers, even more if I go to the Discord channel...
It's easy to just assume greed but I think it's important not to go too far in one direction

and then there was the founder's program. im so glad to be part of the founder's program and see warframe like my baby grew up so much to now being an identity and valued by gamers.

@@SherrifOfNottingham There is no Fomo in Warframe, you will get everything as long as you care to get everything.
Also... LD, do check out Happy Zephyr, Frame Fighter and Wyrmius. xD you have probably missed those arcade games
Man, I really appreciate the lack of cuts in your monologues.
What's even crazier is some of the best gear in the game:
lich/sisters weapons etc. you can't buy.
Been playing for 9 years and Steam tells me I've spent around $900+ dollars, and I, like everyone else: can access everything; The only thing that's locked out of the game are founders cosmetics, which is honestly fair, they deserve it!❤
Also incarnons, you can quite literally take basic starter weapons into endgame if you want to
the best primary in the game right now is a shit slinging gas launcher you can get as early as a week into the game
@@plapmeatowo As a newbie what would the name of that weapon be?

Even if you trade for someone else's lich you have to fight it.
i spit up my coffee, ty lmao
You what?! I've never traded for lich before. I didn't know you have to fight it, to force it to fulfill it's contractual obligation to serve you. That's mess up. But somehow, it make sense in a way, and it's inline with their characters.
I haven't played in like two years but is the Kuva bramma and nukor still S tier? Might boot back up tonight
*Chuckles in melee* ever heard of zaws?
my brother got back into it after a VERY long haitus. I informed him of incarnon evolutions. He asked if Dread had one, he was delighted to know that answer was yes.
I hope Digital Extremes watches this vid.! Very well said! Much love from a 6 yr. veteran player of Warframe

Steam is also just one place you can play Warframe. You can on any of the consoles as well.
And Switch of all places, and its not bad either.
It's on crossplay and cross save in every platform ever (yes, even in mobile)
And it STILL runs on ps4, and surprisingly well
I appreciate your passionate review! Too busy/interested in other games but I respect the review nonetheless!
"babe wake up new 30 minute video glazing warframe is out"
this is not pejorative i am a massive warframe fan
There are no fans of warframe, just addicts. People that can't see the mechanics that they normally hate being used to make the game worse right in front of them.

Unironically that's exactly what The First Descendent does
since when does bungie charge to change shaders?
Bruh single use shaders in Destiny 2 year 1 was a pain
First Descendant is guilty of this. Not to mention their base skin is not dyeable at all, only bought skins are. They are not following the blueprint of WF at all.

As a "not a founder" I thank you for being one. Without you, the game we've enjoyed for a decade would not have existed. 👍
It was a sponsorship and I think he made it sound very dumb on purpose to go into the sponsor section
@@grannde_ I've seen cynical/goofy/etc sponsorships on TH-cam and this wasn't it. This sounded like he was being genuine, much more than he needed to be considering it was a sponsorship, a fact that I did acknowledge btw.

@@mochike One should always remember to check Acritis's weekly shop as she sometimes sells reactors and catalysts.
Tbh I thought it was bad but after first decendents potatoes cost 25$, I'm grateful you can get potato after a single trade
The good thing is, you can farm some prime parts and sell them for plat. Lots of people who have never invested a single cent in this game, earning plat solely from trading. If you need something, try to sell something for plat. Everything goes.
0:31 I like the little pocket it sits in I found the gem in burry in the mud back in 2017 it’s a fun game
Glad you're also a Railjack lover. That gamemode deserves more love. Hopefully the next update will expand things there too.
Alot of players get put off from railjack because at the start it felt like your ship is a little boat but when you get a good NPC crew and have maxed out intrinsics and mods, it suddenly just turns into a starwars spaceship battle lmao
@@Mezha07 Yeah it definitely gets better, the grind to get there is daunting af though. Or used to be, idk how it is now because I've been done with that aspect of the game for ages.
@@Clockwork-Heart ^This. I despise railjack shit. Only did the bare minimum to get passed it and never revisit it if I don't have to. It's just awful imo.
I hope they improve the piloting AI. I love RJ but running back and forth between the objective and my ship to shoot radiators isn't very fun, and the pilot only gets it about two times out of ten.
