Guys, don't worry about missing things in the places you visit. As you said, they'll always be there for you to come back and visit again. Besides, imo you'd need a lifetime to know all the wonders in Spain. I've been travelling inside the country since I was born, and in 25 years I haven't been able to visit everything! The good thing about you is that you step out of the touristic sites and visit wonderful places unknown to foreigners, and get to see the true colors of every Spanish city. Hope you have fun in the Canary Islands! In La Gomera, there's a language spoken just by whistles. Hope you're able to see them comunicate!
Thank you! With all there is to do here, it would definitely take more than a lifetime! I️ don’t think this will be our last time in Spain. And that is so interesting in La Gomera. I️ hope we can make it out there!
Get the tickets for Medina Azahara, Córdoba.... Don't wait to get there, or El caminito del rey in Málaga, or you'll never see them. And lots of other places.... I'm in León and I always make plans for everything here in Northern Spain. Over 30 years living in Spain, wouldn't change it for any other country.
Yes, yes, yes! Make time for meals, stay hydrated and get good rest! I know you both are so excited, I don’t blame you! But pace yourselves. Take the time to immerse and throughly enjoy each moment. Ok.. enough Mom lecture. I am so enjoying your adventures! ❤
We're getting ready to make a trip to Spain in a couple of months, and Granada is one of our main stops! You're video was very helpful and it's getting me so excited for our trip. Meghan, i love the crossbody bag you are wearing in this video! Where did you find it?
Granada was absolutely stunning! You’re going to have a great time there. And the bag is from Kelly Moore I think we have a referral/discount in our description
The interior of Alhambra is one of the most spectacular things you can see in your lifetime. I've visited 80 countries, and very few things are that impressive.
Thanks for the video. Just got back from a week in Granada... best Spanish city I've been to so far. We just managed to book the last tickets to the Alhambra. Well worth it.
i went to mirador de la churra ...no crowd..except a few locals.. we had drinks, snacks, and enjoyed the sunset. im not sure why we did not go san nicholas, it looked spectacular, oh well there's always next time.
Don't worry too much about not being able to enter to the Alhambra. I mean.. well, yea, would have been better to be able to do so, but .. if there is a pre order ticket and an expensive price, i would bet that lot of people of Granada itself doesnt go within there very often. You have mentioned that you were not able either to enter to Sagrada Familia, in Barcelona, and.. look, i live 15 minutes walking from there, and have been more than 20 years since the last time i visited the inside. Years ago you, before the touristic boom, if you wanted to go there, you just did go there, and even the ticket amount price was voluntary. Since is an expiatory temple, the price to pay was according about how siner you felt, since the ticket was to expy your sins. You didnt feel guilty, you didnt need to pay, in fact. but.. well, since the construction is built with the revenue of the tickets only, more or less, everybody used to pay. But.. nowadays.. i don't even know how it works, nor how much is paid for the entrance. Someday i will go, i guess. btw.. i wouldnt have gone to parc Güell. until a few years ago was free, just a park with buildings. And now i wouldnt feel in the mood to pay for that. You can blame our current city major for the ticket thing in park güell. to me is not justified at all. Depending on what you prefer to visit, or from what historical period, there are places free to go, amazing, and not crowded with tourists. Now you have been in Granada.. If i would have been there and unable to enter the Alhambra, i guess that i would have gone into the cathedral. There is always an amazing cathedral to visit, in this kind of places. And maybe some palace in the mid of the town. or a market.. i dont know. Now you go to Almeria, in think that ive understood. i was in malaga lots of years ago, but not been in Almeria. My guess would be the cathedral, some castle (it uses to be also a castle always), maybe some palace or a monastery, and walking the downtown ("callejear"), but my 1st stop would always be the tourism office: all spanish touristic cities or towns have one. they use to be near the city council or the main square (plaza mayor). If not, in a very touristic place, but near the city center. They will give you a map in paper for free, information about the places and how the ticket stuff works, and indications about how to reach each place. So Almeria maybe would be a good place to start to try this theory: 1st place to visit, the tourist office.
The tourist office is a great tip! And I find that really interesting that you once only had to pay to enter the Sagrada if you felt “guilty”. We did as much as we could while we were in Granada and I think there’s some other epic things in the area that would bring us back someday!
They are not toxic, if you bite into it you will understand that you will not be able to eat it, but if you eat it it will not hurt you, the best, healthiest and most delicious oil in the world is extracted directly from the olive, and from the first press, the extra virgin oil comes out , and I think that if you try it you will realize that in the rest of the world, they sell something else, by the way, the best table olive is the Sevillana manzanilla, when you try it, the rest is not the same...
The views looked spectacular!!!!
They were dope!

Not everyone will be able to come back so buying tickets in advance is mandatory.

Granada seems amazing. Thanks for sharing your adventures in Spain.
It was! We will be back ❤️
I have visited the Canary Islands in 2008 and it was really cool. Beautiful place.
We agree! So much beauty here
Great video. Thanks for the tips of getting tickets in advance. All in all, it’s still a full day of activities and spectacular sites.

Driving is scary because of the pedestrians is the most American thing I've heard :) Nice video, thanks for sharing
Hahah yeah i can definitely say we generally don’t see many people walking on the highway in the US
Luv your background music
Glad to hear it!
Sorry for that, but since a lot of years it's necessary to book in advance, at least 15 days. Lot of people visiting these days.
Yeah :/ we didn’t know we would go to Granada until a few days before, so now we know and we can visit again. :)
@@Meghanandmatt dont miss it....its great..Good luck next time.
Thank you!

Nice! Granada is beautiful we’ll also have to go back and visit!
Even for the smallest attractions, you need to buy your tickets in advance about everywhere now.
Curious to hear what hike you were thinking about going on? Thanks.
I’ve tried looking but can’t find the name of it but it was in Sierra Nevada National Park
Granada bella
I wouldn't trust Meghan's driving either....... 😂😂😂😂
Lol she is not happy with this comment 😂

Do not eat olives fresh off the tree. Toxic
Had no idea! Thanks for the heads up

Bit boring
Thanks for the engagement
