I think you are correct. He should visit temples in Tamil Nadu. Cholas-Philippines- Tamil Nadu has a great connection.
Much before the Cholos, the Kings of Kalinga had great role in south east Asia specially in Cambodia, Philippines, Java, Sumatra, Bourneo in ancient times before invasion into kalinga by emperor Ashoka. Even in history of Philippines they refer India as Calinga so the gentleman must visit the temples of Kalinga Odisha. You can see the metal pillar in front of Jagannath temple Puri, the powerful magnets atop of Konark sun temple, the metallic trishuls in Lingaraj Shiva temple in Bhubaneswar etc.

(Murugan )Kartikeya was once widely worshipped across North and East India, and in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Kashmir. Old sculptures and texts tell us so. He was the favourite god of the Yaudheyas, the warlike clans of Haryana and Punjab. A branch of the Yaudheyas, called Mahamayurakas, were champion horsemen and horse-breeders around modern Rohtak city in Haryana.
It says so in the Mahabharata, in the section called the Rajasuya Parva. ‘Rohitka’ as Rohtak was once known, was apparently Kartikeya’s favourite city in the northern plains. Ancient Buddhist texts are also known to talk about Kartikeya’s popularity in the North.

*Mlecha Sanathani are follow Religions like Yagnas, Smarthist, Advaita,..... Who gives people Untouchability, Varna system, Caste separation by telling caste based on Jobs, against women, Against science, Violence, Rape warning to people and they do(History tells), unnatural intimacy.

What is govt of India and Archeological Survey of India doing? They should do research and amply compensate this good Samaritan who has taken a lot of pain to preserve it. This is a very valuable peice of our glorious past which is falsely mentioned as hindu mythology.

The leather wrapping, that he discarded initially would have helped for carbon dating. If not the exact age of the Trishul, it would have determined when it was last wrapped for preservation.

The wood and leather with which it was packed was more important for carbon dating. Carbon dating leather would tell at least when this was packed.

The trishul doesn't look to be used for wars. It must be placed in an ancient temple. But vajra look like of bhagwan Indra

Amman holding Trishul means, she is Shakti (Amba /Parvati). When shiva and shakti combined into single form, then only Shakti will appear. Vyakta amba maya sarvam, avyaktamtantu maheshwaram. Meaning, thing that is manifested is Amba, which is not manifested is Shiva.
When Amba is shown alone, she wear all weapons of Shiva. That’s why Amman is holding Trishul
