Time to do some yardwork! But first, I'm out of gas! Both straight gas and my gas + oil mix. So after a quick trip to the gas station, its time to get to work.
Today I'm mowing and weed whacking. I guess the lawn is getting a little drier than I realized. Its definitely not as bright green as it has been all Spring so far. And its not as tall as it usually is either. Hopefully we get some decent rain soon to keep it growing happy. I'd hate to get into another drought!
There's also some oak tree flowers and some small leaf bunches on the driveway. Rather than pick them up by hand, I'm just going to leaf blow everything on to the front lawn and mulch it up with the mower.

Northern California, used my new Husqvarna brushcutter for 4 hours today. What a beast. It was between 85-95 degrees with about 30% humidity. Stay hydrated or die.

When you say brushcutter, what kind of machine exactly? Like a weed wacker? Or something more like a beefy mower type of machine?

@@ConkaTonk Ah yeah very nice. I've used mine on some tall brush before, but most of the time it's just doing simple edging.
