You know, I always assumed that Kaufmo never actually went through the "exit" door, but the idea he did go through and found out it didn't actually lead out of the Circus does explain the "NO WAY OUT" message in his room. It also makes sense that after running himself ragged trying to use the exit door, going through it only to find it leads nowhere would be the thing that causes him to Abstract.

only thing would be that caine recognized that pomni went through it once falling into the void, but presumably wouldn't with Kaufmo
@@kiro6780 Kaufmo probably never found the door that led to the void. At one point, Pomni just snapped and started backtracking. Maybe Kaufmo just kept going forward until he probably ended up back where he found the first door. That's when he realized there is no way out and locked himself in his room until he became Abstract.
That's so dark. So basically Caine indirectly caused Kaufmo to lose his mind with the exit door he was working on.
@@eeereno2259 Later he would be replaced by Pomni and when she managed to reach beyond Kaufmo, into the void.
Caine would realize what caused his "unfinished work", so he openly apologizes to the players for "lying" about an exit.

I always desired to see Kaufmo in a 3D render. Yes, I am aware he has an official one before pilot came out. This trailer has honestly got me hyped. Yes, its fanmade so not official, but its very good to fill in the void and emptiness of Kaufmo's character. I cannot wait to see this short film. If this trailer is anything to go by, the short film will be 11/10!

@@naorysm I guess it’s his personality (like Ragathas) and his design? Not to mention that because we aren’t gonna see this guy, it’s fun making interpretations about him. Last thing is his relationships with the others, Ragatha seemingly didn’t bond with him as well as the others did, and Jax possibly liked him or just bullied him ( maybe it’s a combination of both). Idk I just really like Kaufmo

One of my favourite things in media is getting to see the exploration of a character who hasn't been given a chance in the spotlight and I really wanted to know more about Kaufmo for example, so this really helps out a lot even if it's a fan-made film!
You're really talented and painfully underrated, so good luck in the production of the film and I can't wait for more updates & info! I'm incredibly excited :) .
I never expected to see a Digital Circus fan film about Kaufmo. It's nice to see that he's getting a little bit of love, even though we hardly seen him from the pilot

I love how well done this teaser was done for a short fanfilm centered around Kaufmo's backstory before Pomni's arrival in The Amazing Digital Circus. As this plays well with what we've learned from the Pilot with the fact that Kaufmo loved to tell jokes but nobody seemed to care too much for his jokes along with trying to find the exit while having gone crazy from what Kinger had said to the group in the PILOT. The animation is done in this does well matching up to the psychological horror we've seen in The Amazing Digital Circus so far, but also the animation style on Kaufmo is really good for how we haven't seen his animation in the series yet. You guys did an outstanding job on this as I can't wait to see what your guys' take on Kaufmo's backstory will look like!

This is how you make Kaufmo an actual character.
I think we should have a Kaufmo flashback in a later episode to show him before he abstracted so we know what happened in a first hand view. And to know his personality and his jokes. And how the other characters behaved with him. Like ragatha said in the pilot that she did not laugh at his jokes because she was having a bad day. This could show that some characters might not think his jokes were funny.

I Really didn't Expect a perfect Animation and Design by a Fan, Everything looks so good and it all make Sense how Kaufmo Abstracted in the first place, The moment when he came, he's been having complete Anxiety and went desperate to Escape judging from all the Wall Writings, An Animated Spin-off Short Film would definitely cover the entire story of him, Kudos to all the Animators!
