- I neglected this playthrough for far too long...
Our target for today are the sub pens at Zeebrugge. Charles will take A Flight to suppress any fighter coverage while we take charge of B Flight and be loaded with bombs.
To accomplish this mission we need to take out at least 4 sub pens. Don't count on your bombs, save your Vickers ammo for the ground targets as making strafing runs with that upper wing mounted Lewis might be a bit tricky ;)
And hey - looks like I've earned Medal of Honor, nice!

Just had this video pop up in my feed. Aweseome seeing this game again. Totally forgot about it. It was the Wing Commander of WW1 flight sims. Loved the characters and the flying. Just good fun.
The speech animation is 100% Ultima Underworld. Definitely Origin!
How did I miss this game? My obsession with flight sims and with aviation itself began with Knights of the Sky.
I had no idea about this game somehow. but it looks awesome I'm going to have to check this out for myself!

I completely missed this game back in the day for some reason don't remember it at all. And I played plenty of Wing and Strike commander Origin games.

More reason why I would get this the moment it’s on GOG.
It's free to download in several places, with Dosbox installed. The control issues are still there--a bugger to set up.
But yeah, it's like being able to step into "Dawn Patrol", even if Charles doesn't sound like David Niven.
A Junkers D.I... after never getting one in Rise of Flight, I still have my hopes up for Flying Circus. Would also take the Bristol M.1C as a viable opponent.
