An animatic, on the other hand, is a rough visual representation of how an animation will flow, using simple sketches, storyboards, or placeholders. It's used as a preliminary step to plan the timing and pacing of the animation before creating the final version.
@@sirizalot close enough but not quite, don't get confused on this thing. An illustration that simply pans, zooms and moves from one point to another can be called animation. You can see the same term being applied on other technologies, an object or character in a set of frames does not need to move in order to be animated, the actual image itself can be manipulated yo create sense of motion which is what animation is all about. Powerpoint text and object tweening is called animating text etc. In web development we animate elements on the page usually by moving elements from point A to point B, we also scale, skew and rotate the container element and the content inside the container usually moves along with the container and does not need to move on its own.
I love how Botan has gone from being the protector lion of Gen 5 to a cub that just wants to play and get spoiled.
She's both, that's what makes her gap moe stronger.

@@mkzheroIt is a cheap starter pistol for children. No damage through clumsy autofire, no childish waste of ammo, and no complicated settings to confuse the child, just straight up fun.
@@ABW941 Except its a .45 acp, which hurts shooting even for an adult from this tiny uncomfortable af and light package. Its anything but fun to shoot, you need a stick to actually extract the rounds, oh, and the build quality of the original is rather questionable so they'd explode in your face if you'd try shoot more than the issued 3 rounds, heck, you where not even supposed to use more than 1 or 2 tops. A .25 or .32 derringer would be leagues more fun and effective as a 'kid gun'

Context: the FP-45 Liberator is a now-rare footnote in US firearms history. It is a single-shot pistol that was incredibly cheap-and-fast to make, with the intent of air-dropping a million _(actually_ a million) over Axis-occupied areas in WWII to supply resistances with concealable assassination guns. It was mostly tin save for the barrel, and maybe only good for two or three shots, which was all it came with in the grip storage (beautifully shown in the animation when Botan-chan is asleep

Although most people share the sentiment of "if you need to reload your Liberator, you fucked up pretty hard." There is a massive crate of liberators somewhere on the ocean floor as some US supply ships just shoved em off deck when the war ended before they got shipped. It was also chambered in .45 ACP, the same round used by the venerable 1911, Thompson, and M3 Grease Gun family.

Fun fact about the gun next to Botan; that little pistol is called the FP-45 Liberator, which is a WW2-era "single-shot" .45 Auto pistol. The reason for it's existence was that it was given out to resistance fighters in Axis territories as a way of psychological warfare; the US thought that, if enough of these pistols ended up in enemy territory, it could heavily decrease the morale of the Axis powers. This didn't really take off due to General's Douglas MacArthur and Joseph Stilwell, two very important names in the war's history, were unenthusiastic about the pea-gun's effectiveness if it were supplied in the Pacific, as well as General Dwight D. Eisenhower's staff not seeing the practicality of the weapon if it were supplied in Europe; however the pistol was indeed supplied in German-occupied France via the British Army, though only around 25,000, aswell as 100,000 being shipped to China (though the actual number for what China was supplied is unknown). Besides the ones supplied overseas, atleast 450,000 Liberators were handed over to the Office of Strategic Services, as the OSS wanted to supply resistance fighters with more effective weaponry in both theatres.
As of today, it remains one of the rarest pieces of WW2 memorabilia despite the fact over half a million of them were made, as it was as I've stated before, something you really only fire once, though you can fire it up to 10 times as they usually came with 10 rounds of ammo, though with how cheaply made it is, you could make a safe bet the gun would fail before reaching the 10th round.
tl;dr It's funny Botan would have one of the rarest pieces of wartime weaponry ever made. Godspeed, you lil lion.
So basically botan is a cool and responsible lioness when in front of her SSRB's, but when she gets in the presence of some of her motherly genmates or senpais, her "child-like" part of her comes out more... adorable
