    I think people wanted this movie to be an emotional type. They just couldn't accept the fact that gay couples were that open and happy about it.

    • @milokors9261
      @milokors9261 4 ปีที่แล้ว +26

      G Basar They had to serve it as a comedy movie to introduce this topic to Indian public. Gay couples can’t be open in India so easily. The reality of gay couples is very different- it’s a daily battle with storms and tears, even for homosexuals from privileged backgrounds. India is not ready for a movie like Brokeback Mountain yet. Technically, this movie wasn’t so great but it’s a huge step

      I dot understand why people India always need to attach humor to a same sex relationship. It can be a thriller plot or anything emotional. I full agree with you, its not necessary to always make things humorous for people to have a grab of it.

      Even ayushmann said in the interview that if they made it as a serious movie then no one can watch and only 3 or 4 will watch this movie and these people are either belong to LGBT or some young people hardly. So I think they made best decision by making it comedy movie and also with family. I just love this movie

    More than the society, it's the parents who should be accepting the fact. The problem with us Indians is that we give the society the "not so needed" importance. even in this era, love marriages are considered as taboo and parents force their children to marry the person of their choice. there are lots of flaws in our society and the greatest of them is the lack of acceptance. why should we follow the standards set by the society and appease the ppl who hold no importance in our lives? the moment we will stop giving a shit to what society thinks, then we can say that there is a change.

    I don't understand the hate that this film is getting in the comments..
    People complaining about ayushman doing same roles? He played a blind pionist and an IPS police officer just last year so I don't doubt his versatility
    Secondly,if you have watched the film you'll notice that they have shown from what I understand different kind of people in a relationship in which ayushman being the more outgoing one and jeetu being the one who is reserved(like geet an aditya in jab we met) so I think that they balance each other well
    Third is that this movie was not about perfect representation of LGBTQ agreed but if they had made it all about struggles no one would go to watch it...people went because it was comedy and because there was ayushman..it was to bring in the masses and provide them with a fairly new love story because this was just another love story where the couple happened to be gay ..that's it..
    And personally I loved the movie a lot...the way the director has shown the love story in such a normal way just like our regular love story was brilliant and effective...

      @sanjay amarnani yo bhai watch andhadhun, a topper also watch dum laga ke haisha. Ayushmann is one of the only actors who has repeatedly given us extraordinary content to watch which speak about social messages than through humour. Humour is genre which almost all types of masses enjoy. Then what is a better way to speak abt such topics than humour. Mr.Smarty pants Tumbaad sonchariya, bhavesh joshi etc are indeed great movies but why didn't they run on box office. Becoz it didn't to the masses. Ayushmann does films which have imp messagez and are also mass appealing. So he is succesful

I know some people are arguing that by trying to make it humorous, the makers were only trying to normalize the subject and make it acceptable to the audience. @sanjay amarnani I guess that's opinion based, you might think he added nothing to Andhadun I think he was fabulous..... I love his acting and dialogue delivery... That's just perception and preference. Mine is different to yours or someone elses.

    Every actor has their own style n attitude in terms of acting, so Ayushmaan has then what's the matter of "same kind of role" I don't understand

    • @nilen8676
      @nilen8676 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly, the style and attitude is always gonna be there, no matter who they are and which movie they do; it happens to biggest stars of cinema as well. I have read the same thing about the likes of De Niro, Pacino, and so on. Sometimes people expect too much of actors instead of paying attention to the movie as a whole.

    I agree on some point with you jammy like bl movie in india is new
    And when we talk about versatility of ayushman we all know how talented and versatile he is and the reason for this movie to be created in comedy is because producer and director were afraid if they able to pull of this movie to became a hit or this will go down because if they potray this movie as an art individually suffering of gay guy or made it so emotional the public wouldn't get so much attracted and most terrifying word bored and this lead to failure of movie which they cannot let happen and they keep it funny and entertaining and this is the first big step hope for more movies about this topic thanks .
