Mostly buy from aquascaping stores. I rarely collect twigs from nature. If I collect then I leave them for about 6-8 months exposed to the elements to season them out a bit.
wow. Another beautifully created one. Thank you for showing how it is done step-by-step. One question: I see you placing plants like the prostata and the fern gently. Don't they need to be pushed into soil? I am always pushing the prostata into the soil and because they are gentle, I end up breaking them. Thanks.
Thank you. The fern is an aquatic bolbitis that is grown emersed. Its an epiphytic plant and the rhizome needs to be above the soil. It will thrive this way in a closed environment and root into the substrate. Peoeromia prostrata is also epiphytic and needs to be grown this way inside a closed terrarium to prevent root rot.
Extremely beautiful well done!wow sooo beautiful!Just one question how many springtails will do the job?I am afraid to put any wood except cork bark because of the mold. Thank you and please don't stop 🙏 posting videos!
Thanks. Depends on the size of the terrarium. Less for smaller ones and more for larger builds. Springtails are more of a preventive measure. If mold is too much they may not be able to help.
Another beautiful build. You are a source of inspiration, thank you for posting videos! I am curious - what kind of sand do you use? Can you use builders sand / play sand or is it somehow contaminated?
Craft wood is usually cheap wood prone to mold. I leave them outside for 6-8 months and weather them out before using. Ideally driftwood from aquascaping stores are the best solution to avoid mold. Activated carbon helps to filter toxins in a closed environment.
@@TheUrbanNemophilist have you ever thought of using some sort of sealant spray on the wood to make them water proof? Do you think this can make them repel mold growth? I have been following you for quite a while. I built two terrariums already, but Im afraid to put wood due to possibility of molds. I dont have access to springtails..

Can you use builders sand / play sand or is it somehow contaminated?
Thank you. I use sand from brand Greenland and ADA.
AWESOME!
One question, Don't we need a mesh barrier between the substrate and gravel?
Thanks. I don’t use sometimes for smaller builds
Hi, could you please tell me what did you mean by seasoned craft wood? Also why did you add the activated charcoal? Thanks in advance.

Hi friend, excellent videos, could you recommend a brand of glue or what is the name of the one you use to glue the logs, thank you very much.
Thanks. Any superglue like gorilla glue
What's the adhesive you used to connect the pieces of wood?
Its a Chinese brand and can’t read the name as its written in Chinese. I bought it off Amazon
👍🌟🧡
