    Joel, on the Missile Masters team, was a very good friend of mine. We met when we served aboard USS Yorktown in 1996. There was nothing he couldn't build, and he was one of the funniest guys I knew. Joel lost his battle with cancer a couple of years ago and watching this has me waxing nostalgic.

    • @harmsc12
      @harmsc12 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It actually makes some sense that it turned out this way. If you ever messed around with Knex as a kid, you'll know that it's easier for a small gear to turn a big one than it is for a big gear to turn a small one, and smaller wheels get going more easily than big ones. Sure, big wheels are great for ground clearance and uneven terrain, but that doesn't matter on a flat dirt track. What matters is how much power you can put into the ground. Smaller tires do that better.

    Man these commercials and prices bring back memories. Cingular Wireless, the paint center computer at Home Depot, $17k for a new Acura. RadioShack still exists. Not to mention Monster Garage and Extreme Engineering. BRING ME BACK

    Man seeing this show again is just such a stark reminder of what crap they put on TV these days. And also a reminder that reality shows actually used to resemble something approximating reality.

    Is it weird that I like that it still had the original commercials? They're kinda neat to see again.

    The early 2000 commercials are crazy funny.. I watched all 3 different style s of this show the best was the og from England. And then discovery picked it up then tlc. Then they killed it. Its a show they could bring back now and make a #1 hit again like battle bots
