As it stands, the only perfume from Les Indemodables that I don’t enjoy is Cuir de Chine. Otherwise, absolutely brilliant house. Musc de Sables triggers wonderful scent memories for me, as it’s in the style of the perfumes that my father used to wear when I was younger.

Hi Rich! We’re at the same stage with musc des sables. I didn’t like it at first but over the last several years I’ve reached for my sample several times. It was a slow morph.
Yeah I think the name put me off but I really like the smell

I really enjoy hearing our journeys in scent, sometimes a waft or taste can spark that previous scent memory. When I sampled this it brought back memories of Iris Oriental 14, needless to say I did a resampling and couldn't get it off my mind.
This is your journey, happens to us all, give or take 20+ years at this rate you'll be chasing vintage Old Spice!

@@RichMitch Brut circa 1976 was my first ever scent wear, loved it. Old Spice was my Father's or uncles. Fast forward to today, love them both, the carnation in OS is one of the best. It's a Christmas time wear for me, so cozy.
@@LEgoiste yes the creamy carnation in OS is still brilliant. I like the serge Carnation too, vitriol d'œillet.

@@RichMitch ok thank you for your answer, you really should try Milton Lloyd it's an English company, and it's not expensive really not expensive there are a lot of positive opinions and above all he makes copies based on old formulations, Fahrenheit, Kouros, Creed adventus etc.

@@RichMitch hi I'm answering you because I had confirmation for the Milton Lloyd the man cobalt perfume, I have a friend here who was able to order it on Amazon so more expensive but at least he did the test and he told me confirmed that it was indeed the original Fahrenheit version with very good performance and this house is in England their perfumes are really inexpensive, they also made Ted Lapidus for men, kouros, jacques Bogart, all in version original and apparently their performances are more good, at least try the Fahrenheit dupe
