I hope Josh's surgery went well and his recover is going well. I had an umbilical hernia repair done last year. After I came home from surgery, I stayed in my recliner for about two days. I didn't get up except to use the toilet. Sneezing and coughing were quite painful.
Laughing is the worst! On the up and up now and feeling pretty gold. Thanks for the kind words 🙏

Do you remember the warm blanket they pull out of a warming bin and cover you with it ? That's the last thing I remember from both my surgeries. ... And the surgery room was cold....so that blanket was like heaven haha !! And waking up high as a kite is great cause I didn't feel the pain lol.... That mixed with the anesthesia wearing off was a great f u to the pain haha !! Feel better soon buddy !!!
Hope ya feel better soon, Ken. Love ya bro. I'll be rooting for your recuperation to not take a whole lot of time for you and that you can get back to normal strength soon. Me having had 25+ surgeries in my lifetime, I always hate the recuperation period because while it's occurring, I usually feel like crap at first, but quickly end up getting better.

I'm glad your surgery went well. Too bad about the arthritis. I got to be awake when they cleared out my torn meniscus on my right knee. My pulmunologist didn't want me to be under general so they did a spinal and I got to watch the monitor while the doctor cleared out the torn cartilage. It was cool. 😀👋👍
Hope you get back on your feet soon. I have never seen a hospital that makes everyone wait together before surgery. The way it's done here where I live in the USA everyone waits together then they call you back then change and each person gets their own little prep area with a curtain. Kinda cool to see how things are done up there.
So glad this went smoothly for you, Ken. I'm having a partial knee replacement in June and can't wait to have it done and over.
Wow, that’s a hospital! I work in one, we have a plain old cafeteria and a Tim Hortons, and two corner stores. Glad the surgery went well! My knees are shot, but since I’m not 50 yet, they say I should suffer a little while yet.
Glad it all went well! My Birthday is May 11, 1966! Only 5 days after your Birthday! So close and we all know May people are the best! 😂

It seems like all the hospitals in your vlogs have an amazing selection of restaurants! The ones in these parts usually have a Tim Hortons, sometimes a Subway and regular cafeteria food. Anyways, glad to see you home recovering!

When I was a kid in the 70s I had to have ear surgery and the Anastasia was probably Katman I remember everything closing up like a dark tunnel and then that closed up and I went to sleep in a matter of seconds as I was counting backwards I was seven years old

Good luck on your knee Surgery .what a day for surgery as I'm going in for a operation on Tuesday 16th for a perforated eardrum. My 1st operation and also it hasn't hit me yet. Mine a overnight trip. If it was in the morning then they would let me go home afterwards. Have you had any other operations before? Wow your operation went very quickly and they let you home straight afterwards. Canada health hospital are very efficient. Hope you have a quick recovery and a non painful one too. Take it easy until it heals as we are not going anywhere. Take care don't over do things until your ready.

Gosh this video is so relatable. I was 17 when I had my knee surgery, 21 now. It was on December 30th so I remember being confused about who won the World Jrs games that day😂. Wish you a speedy recovery Ken! 😊

I just had surgery on my left knee last year in early January because it kept dislocating ever since I was five

That's the hospital I was born at in 1986. I also went to the school that you're facing as you sit outside "tripping on T3's" and drinking your Miso soup. Lol
My second knee surgery was outpatient. Didn't get fed. Was in at 8 and out by 11 I think.
