Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice - All Bad Endings

  • Sorry about the low audio and quality, don't have any direct capture devices for 3DS games.
    This video shows off all the bad endings in the last episode of this game. I believe I found them all but I could have missed something.
    There are also a couple dialogue changes when you lose when Dhurke disappears, and when Nahyuta confesses, but they both lead to the typical guilty sentence game over

      The reason it did is because Phoenix was defending Paul because Maya was held hostage, and he was too ashamed to ever admit the truth to Apollo. Apollo was worried about things being awkward between him and Phoenix since they fought in a case while Phoenix felt guilty. It just wound up in awkwardness all around, with both truly wanting to make up, but with Phoenix ultimately unable to do so.
      If Justice For All is any indication, Maya probably fell out with Phoenix too.

      @@KalavinkaKHe wasn't ashamed. The problem was that if he revealed this to Apollo, Apollo, as we see in the good parts, would have taken back his accusation.

      If the DCA is still in place there's still the death penalty for anyone who defends a killer, which im pretty sure phoenix did at some point or another. +Poison Alice the DCA isn’t death penalty, it’s whatever punishment the defendant gets. It just happened to be death in 6-1, 6-3 and 6-5 because that was what the punishments being meted out to Maya and Ahlbi and everyone else was. (After all… imagine getting the death penalty because you failed an appeal case for a parking fine. Wew.)

      Phoenix defended guilty parties in Japanifornia. While this is a crime in Khura'in, there were no such laws in the country where he committed the acts, and he can't be held accountable under the DCA for those actions.

    • @RigasUT
      @RigasUT 7 ปีที่แล้ว +54

      That's not exactly true. Dual Destinies has many endings, and the earlier you lose in the final case, the worse of an ending you get. So, for example, in the absolute worst ending, Simon gets executed, his sister makes off with the hostages (including Trucy) and they are never found (probably killed), Athena quits the agency, Apollo "stops smiling", and Phoenix stops being a defense attorney. But, in the best out of the worst endings, the Phantom is not caught because they were unable to pin the crimes on him, so the public distrust of the legal system doesn't get improved. But otherwise, everything's fine. Simon & Athena get cleared from the accusations and Simon's sister releases the hostages.

    We know that in this case,Nick is the prosecutor(By force)here,right? Well,i like to think that this is the first and only time Nick prosecutes a case ever. And i like to think that after "winning" against Apollo,he never takes a case as a "Prosecutor",which kinda turns him in the "True Prosecutor That Couldn't Be Defeated"...? I mean. He never prosecutes after this case. It's a small theory i have.

    • @greenxlady4585
      @greenxlady4585 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      He actually wasn't a Prosecutor. The reason he stands against Apollo here is that it was a civil trial, two people claiming something. Prosecutors are only needed during Person vs. State cases, as they represent the state. And since Criminal Law leads to trials like that, that's what we see in Ace Attorney.
      But despite that, Phoenix pulling a Godot would have been hilarious, I agree.

    WHAT THE FUDGE IS PHOENIX DOING ON THE PROSECUTION SIDE!?

    • @risurisunaa
      @risurisunaa 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It was a civil trial, and in those ones there are no prosecutors, only attorneys.
      Spoiler:
      Phoenix was forced to do it because Inga held Maya hostage. I might be wrong, but...

    okay so phoenix betraying apollo is explained. but what the hell did phoenix talk like one of the stupid ignorant prosecutors (how do you know that paw stands for that name. what if it's someone that just likes dogs?). really? pheonix would never say something that stupid. the judge maybe but not pheonix.

    • @emliu5000
      @emliu5000 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ikr? When we play as Phoenix he still talks like he used to, then when he goes against Apollo suddenly he’s all “You don’t stand a chance, wHerE’s yOur EviDenCe” like all the prosecutors. Even if Maya’s in danger he doesn’t have to act all pretentious

      Well, Amara's married life has no relevance to the case

      So why the Judge and the audience are completely embarrassed?

    • @frigidkitsune

      I don't know, because Amara is embarrassed to talk about her married life in public?

      I think Amara basically implied a few... things... that you would expect a married couple with children to have done. As well as how they interacted with one another like pet names and such.
