ABorder Prince, this was absolutely fantastic. Your two UR-025 narrations are my two favorite narrations on your entire channel. You were born to give voice to UR-025.
@@ABorderPrince My affinity with UR-025 is born out of my feeling that UR-025's perspective on the universe of 40k is rather similar to how many readers of the lore would view events if we were thrust into the dystopic universe of 40k.
From that first post I get the impression that there is another story with UR-025? If so.. what's the name of it? Great job on the narrative..keep it up.
@@ABorderPrince it's a solid character the way the characters are so unique voice wise. Do you do this on any professional capacity other than this TH-cam ofc
May I say I need these audios as a way to fall asleep? I actualy enjoy them please make more, even tho I` can`t always listen to all of them but i have them on repeat trying to sleep (yes I`m that kind of wierd)
Yeah it's the same for me. I find I fall asleep to engaging or charismatic voices more, even though it makes no sense. I tend to watch these videos again the next day to get the actual set. Keep up the great work!
I love the contrast between ultra chad UR-025's introduction and Abominatius "It is the name I answer to" UR-025 can choose, it has free will and came to the Fortress of its own desire. It even has its own beliefs and theories about the Fortress and even came to anthropomorphize it, after a fashion. Abominatius is just a mutant dog doing the same tricks over and over into forever.
I love how UR keeps thinking it's so much better than the imperium but near the end it literally states the same thing Space Marines do when facing down a supernatural threat in its own machine way: "Fear is not my operating code." Literally "And they shall know no fear" since it is literally lacking the programming to feel fear.
But what is the difference between a hero and fool. Good judgement. You can be fearless all you like but you are either a fearless hero or a dead fool.
I was surprised that the story of UR-025 continued, I want more of him now. God I hope they write more of these, but not so much that they kill him off.
It could be a smaller and older combat form that survived due to its ability to hide. The larger and/or more lethal AI forms would probably have been melted down out of fear. UR-025 can pass as a servitor, and it probably used that to its advantage.
You need to do more.. Much more man. They way your read is cool. A lot of people I just can't sit and listen to their voices. But you dude.. Nice.. Keep up the stella work.
I think I have listened to all your 40k stuff and some of the other stuff. But the 40k. I a few favs that I play a lot. Your Emperor readins are amazing and the Inquisition ones. And the .. Yeah. You good man.
"They say foul things of Old Times still lurk In dark forgotten corners of the world. And Gates still gape to loose, on certain nights. The story is part of the Cthulhu Mythos, and follows the same pattern and has the same features as much of H. P. Lovecraft's classic work.
I love this kind of story. Excellent Worldbuilding. Its good to see something else than marines. I mean Bolter-porn is nice sometimes, but a man of iron in a Blackstone fortress? This breathes life into the world of 40k. I love digging for obscure and forgotten lore, or just niche stories. :D Great Reading, the robotic voice must`ve been tiring. Please Keep up the good work.
