Wassup 310 crew, fellow retired F16 weapons troop here. I was in the 310th FS at Luke AFB and I was searching for videos from my old squadron when I happened upon your channel searching for 310 and I must say it's a pleasure to watch your professionalism and enthusiasm for aviation! If you ever have an itch for PC combat simulators, our virtual FW is always looking for new pilots. Falcon BMS, we fly the F16 only in our wing and we do it just like real pilots do: comms, mission briefing, mission and campaign planning. We have fun but our missions are as close to real world as possible with BVR A-A ops, formation flying at night, bad weather combat ops, also AAR and much more. Anywho, you guys stay safe and as always I'll be looking forward to your next adventure.

I don't know how I found you guys. I don't fly and have never really wanted to, but there is something about flying with you that is so relaxing and informative. I have a friend who has flown and I'm passing these videos along to him. Watching out the window and hearing the hum of the engine makes me start to appreciate why people like you enjoy it so much.
Quick story. Before I was married, I took my wife out to a local airport where they advertised a $5 starter lesson. I was out for a joy ride and wasn't really paying attention to the lesson. By the time we got in the air, the instructor knew I was just out for an experience, and proceeded to put us through some maneuvers to sort of "teach us a lesson" of another sort. I will never forget that day and neither will my wife. I'm lucky she decided to marry me after that stunt.
Keep up the good work. I have subscribed and hope to join you through many more adventures. Congrats on exceeding 100k subscribers.

Loved her flight. I flew in the Extra 300 back in 2004 in Mesa Arizona. I actually did all the maneuvers myself. The loops were my favorite, especially when the stick shaker did its thing. It was wild. I made the mistake of having breakfast that morning. Once I got over the initial stomach issues, it was a blast.

So Jaime....Courage isn't the absence of fear, it is acknowledging that something scares the crap out of you, then moving forward anyway to face it.
    You have courage. Well Done.
A couple other things...I think you are a natural with a stick versus a yoke. Watching the look on your face as you controlled the airplane was..well it was very cool. The smile was real. Kevin...I think it is time for you to start planning for a second pilot in the family, and perhaps even a second plane...a sport model, if ya know what I mean. You are a lucky guy. Very few of us find a soul mate who shares our passions. I have one too...we will celebrate our 40th anniversary in May.

Jamie, I'm so proud of you! You were so brave in that you allowed yourself to experience some maneuvers that very few people ever get to do. Saying "YES" to a Lamcovak was the real test of your moxy! Good job!

Ahhh my gosh... this brings back some wonderful memories. As a only a C172 Pilot I had the opportunity to fly in a Pitts S2B a few times and fell in love with aerobatics..... unfortunately my finances couldn’t afford to develop it.

Born in Aurora 1951 - my very first flight lesson (Cessna 152, Palo Alto, CA., 1974) was with an Aerobatic pilot / instructor. He owned a "Pitts" bi-plane. It wasn't long before he took me for a spin ... literally! Thanks for sharing your experience, Jaime! -RCK, Delavan, WI.

Fine job on the stick by Jaime!! Jared earned a lot of trust from both Kevin and Jaime for that flight to have happened. Well deserved trust. He was very explanatory and calm throughout the flight.
Love Kevin's first comment "Babe, are we still married?"
Peanut butter breakfast comes to mind. Tastes the same going down as it does in reverse.
Thanks for sharing the vid! Really neat.

It was great to hear you say that was your favorite part! I was afraid you wouldn't do it at first but now you have such a great experience under your belt that you'll never forget!
I know Kevin's very proud of you! I sure am!!! Great job Jaimie!!!

Omg. I was grinning from ear to ear the entire video! That was so cool! Definitely something I would love to do sometime. I've been to many airshows, but it's really cool seeing maneuvers like that from the cockpit. And that approach and landing was insane! So much fun to watch.

Funny. My wife did the Edge Walk on top of the CN Tower in Toronto and then went skydiving for her 60th birthday. She is the one in the family looking for the next biggest roller coaster to ride. I got into scuba diving in my teens and used to spend time in the Keys exploring the beautiful and colorful scenery. I couldn't get her in the ocean for anything. Our different interest make the world go around. If Jamie gets her pilots license don't ever take a nap while she is at the controls. You may wake up with her into the middle of a barrel roll.

I give lots of rides in a Cub and a Champ to nervous first time flyers over Missouri corn fields. Your constant describing what's about to happen and then during the maneuver is perfect. Also letting her have the stick for a bit. In my case, no aerobatics except sharp turns, but my goal is the same as yours, to make them comfortable with flying and want to fly again, not scare them. Great job.

Hahahaha....having skydived 2x before, static line....my ground school for chute deployment and landing technique- and PRACTICE, lasted hours. Jamie received less than 2min. In my class alone....70-80, three broke their legs on landings. Another released one of their shoulder harnesses....thinking it was their directional riser. One got caught in high wind......and snagged an electrical transmission tower. And I can see that Jamie came prepared...she brought her heels. And CONGRATS on your silver!

Jaime, your comments about being glad you did not have breakfast reminded me of this story. A news reporter was going for a ride with one of the aerobatic teams. Concerned about how her stomach would feel, during her briefing the day before, she asked what she should eat before the flight. The pilot told her to eat bananas. She then remarked, "Oh, because that will settle your stomach and keep you from barfing?" The pilot responded, "No. It is because that is what tastes the best coming back up!"

This is a great video. Great fun for Jaime! And very well done Jared for managing the severity of the manoeuvres, taking care to check continually that his passenger was comfortable, and giving her control.
I hear that the Extra 300 is an amazing aircraft. A legendary pilot I knew was taken up in one when he was around 80 years old; when I asked him how it was, he paused and said: "You can paint the sky with it!"
