Since the Age of War chapter two came out, TIII and T4, named Black Hand Pirate Archers, now drop ancient bows even on the Noob River. The priests at the den now drop a legendary bow called The Eye of the Kahn that does 26 light and 26 heavy damage. Also at New Asagarth, the priests will drop black ice-long swords that are quite overpowered.
At new asagarth you can also find the reliable butcher chopped into a table (in the middle right next to the goat pen) so if ya want a good cleaver you can easily run by and pick it up
I have 20 of these in a chest since my main base is right next to it. I was leveling up there and found them, so I checked every time I was in there killing.
I loaded up on this as I was building out a small camp up there and hunting for good thralls in the camps. I came back to my main base with 20 crazy high-end bows.
I actually knew about the Coup De Grace being on the Exile Lands, because a TH-camr was playing the game for the first time on single player and he was streaming. It dropped from the gorilla,too bad he didn't know how great that thing is and he just left it there.😂
I’m a bit disappointed, but not surprised, that they are restricting midnight potion crafting to the dungeon entrance. I’ve used the potion with great success as a teleportation spell; crafting it (and the bench) where ever I am when I want to go home as my base is next to Septamaru.

If they bring some exclusive weapons to the exile lands from siptah, I think it should also be vice versa. It’s not fair how Funcom leaves out siptah all the time. I love both maps but it’s unfair how everything is on the exile lands.
You can also grab the black claws off a bench at the priest Kings retreat entrance to the den. Normally has a crafter and a barrier thrall sitting at it.
Thanks for the guide, Wak! Fairly early in AoW Ch. 2 I did a run into the Well of Skelos for Composite Obsidian. While I was waiting for it to cook, I went on to the second mini-boss in there and got the short sword "Sword of Champions." Pretty sure that's a Siptah drop exported to the EL map, crazy high damage. Only been up there twice since that run and haven't got it again, might be worth checking. It's the boss after the forge, surrounded by the small/low health Serpentmen.
Got a few curved slayer few days ago in silver mine, knew it was new to exiled lands, it also drops heartpiercer bow. Thats a demonic bow with build in arrows and 1 hour timer, every shot costs 30 seconds, a kill adds 60 seconds, gives 50% corruption.
Quick mention... I had berserker's fistblades dropped for me in Klael's dungeon from miniboss in blood pool. Don't know if that will be a thing, but maybe other things from the list are also present there.
I plan on making a bunch of midnight potions and stickin em in a fridge to save the trip over to the dens area. So yeah, that's good advice. Question: Are there any claw weapons for str?
I was a non-believer, @dschuler1985 but I scored a set of triplets at Stargazer''s ridge and am leveling the first one now. Gave her a Momentum I picked up pre World Boss nerf and she is just absolutely a beast even in the low levels. I regret not going and getting her sooner.
Learning about the Potion of Midnight changes really suck. Cause there's literally no reason to craft it anymore. The 5 feral flesh is so much easier to get than the ingredients and if you have to go to the dude anyways, why not just spend the feral flesh to get the literal same effect? The point of the player-crafted recipe was so that you didn't have to hoof it out to the middle of nowhere. Now that you have to do that anyways, there's no point in crafting it.
Also I would have sworn you ran into a sword of champions in the Well of Skelos during one of your run throughs at one of the snakemen bosses but can't seem to find that vid anymore
I'd love to see them drop The Minstrel's Song katana on EL. It's pretty easy to get on Siptah and one of my weapons of choice there. Bleed on all hits light and heavy.
Started a new play through on Siptah and killed the boss by the Blacksail harbor and he dropped the Preditory Blade, did not know that even dropped on Siptah.
Thats freaking nonsense that you cant make midnight potions at alchibench anymore i mean the only reason for the recipe is that you can make the Portion at home and can get into the dungeon from where ever you want now The recipe is absolute useless
Take the materials to craft a alchemy bench, and the materials to craft a midnight potion with you, and you always have a teleportation potion to Sepermeru. Place the bench, craft the potion, disassamble the bench, drink the potion. If you have a base near Sepermeru then you don't even need the to learn sorcery to the end to teleport to your base.
Nah man, that is what you can do right now. This update will not allow you to craft the potion at an alchemical bench, you have to do it at the shrine now. It is a way to prevent PvP players from grabbing their loot in the middle of a raid and escaping via the midnight grove.@@griffinhatchling
If you can't repair the legendaries, whats the point? At best you'll just stick them on a thrall and forget about them. And certain weapons due to their moveset just aren't optimal on a thrall so they become little more then display pieces.
Yes, it will happen in the December update for Age of War: Chapter 3. So you have just under a month to craft them at your base and store them in a preservation box.
How tough is that spider in skulkers end? Most spiders are pretty tough. I started a new game to try things out and would like to try and get one of those new weapons but world boss spiders chew through thralls and are actually pretty tough for a while into the game.
All of the 3 skulls are decent fights now. I went and got a Relic Hunter a while back into this playthough and once leveled to around 5 or 6, with the right perks in Authority, she could deal with them and we crushed through the spiders. I ran the skittering caverns a million times because both the spider boss and the chest there have legendary drops so it was an easy place to load up on good mid-game gear. I now have 20 Nemedian helmets of course, but that's fine - can't repair them anymore so I will have lots to last forever.
Wak with the recent updates is the curved slayer sword still dropping in the silver mine? Over the past week I’ve ran it over 20 times and it hasn’t dropped, went outside admin spawned the boss and it dropped with in 2 tries… I’m gonna run some more tests myself tonight but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this
After almost 50 tries in the silver mine no curved slayer… ten tries with an admin spawn no prey remain 4 dropped Curved Slayer sword… looks like it’s been removed from exile lands

I mean making the potion of midnight made in that alter is stupid if anything the alter should be there as an additional alter once you've learned the jhebbal sag religion or give us some other reason rather then making a potion that clearly costs 5 feral flesh not all that other mumbo right next to each other the flesh comes from all the creatures around just no thought process in putting the 2 together. If anything there should be something like a hidden weapon from this little alter once all the bosses have been beaten and with all of the keystone pieces to make a weapon or a building, a weapon with good damage much like the good legendary wepaon but with no durability and the ability to add poison to it the only drawback to it is no weapon mod should be added, the building should be either a set of benches or one that streamlines the benches much like how it was in the old days or just give us one bench that just does it all or a bench that can make weapons and armor in it with full cost but can utilise 2 thralls to make better weapons and armor

@@myriadcorp Just bring the materials to craft a basic alchemy bench and a potion, and you get a free teleport/escape from almost any situation. In other words, it was being abused. Surely if the exit from the dungeon were to teleport you back to where you drink it, people wouldn't be crafting it in their base even if that option was available. There are too many exploits in this game already, and this is just one being fixed.

The potion was designed as a unique entry point to a dungeon, and that's it. The fact that it decays after 2 minutes is proof that they don't want you to carry it around as an "out-of-jail" card to use anywhere at anytime, as people have been using it almost exclusively, with the dungeon itself being pretty much irrelevant. Ideally they would make it so that exiting the dungeon would bring you back to where you drink the potion. Or they could keep the transport to Sepermeru, but only if you run trough the dungeon first. As is typical from Funcom though, they took the most extreme approach. But like I said, people would still be complaining if the potion was craftable anywhere but were unable to teleport to Sepermeru.

They destroyed this game. I just got messed raided people were placing bombs threw the walls and the mesh last night could not do a thing. This game is a lost cause now… it really sucks man freaking love this game so much. They r changing way to many things the worse thing is the pve players are oh yea that’s a cool update but it sucks for pvp players. This game is based on pve now which is sad.
The chest piece was the armor of the mad prophet, which I believe was only obtainable through the khitan merchants scattered across the map. All of which have been removed from the game.
Black Claws also spawn on a bench next to a bonfire on the east side of the capital for the Dogs of the Desert

The spider was introduced in Chapter 2 I think. Before there was just an empty arena.

I figured out a fix to the Coup de Gras, put a damage kit on it and it'll work as intended again.
Graceful Night also has a very low weight of only 1.00 units, good for a backup weapon.

It is probably due to PvP servers, the midnight potion allowed for access to places that you really shouldn't be able to go into.

I have gotten a feroxic bow from a small camp near the 3 towers in the highlands. I was super excited but figured it was a glitch lol.
Yeah, the legendarys are fine. But the feroxic Weapons or the Demonspider Recipes would be even better. Daggers with Armorshred are amazing

Graceful night is only weight of 1 so the Master Reinforcement will only put the weight negative to 2.5 for 5400 durability.

i find if you give your legendaries to your followers, no durability loss, they take good care of them, - but if you weld them, they get damaged.

I prefer Lovetap over any Truncheon. It allows u to knock the thralls on the ground. Rinse and repeat and they never get up.

Also have you (or anyone) found the Khitan Merchants, or was them removed from the game?
The chest piece was the armor of the mad prophet, which I believe was only obtainable through the khitan merchants scattered across the map. All of which have been removed from the game.
