As a note: Kressa does not offer the blessing to the Dark Urge, get it on everyone else before bringing the Dark Urge into the area. Thank you to @tantalus_complex for this!
If you're disguised it works. I was walking around disguised to make use of the Shapeshifter's Boon and got the option for my Durge. Dropping disguise will get you the normal interaction.
For Astarion and getting the strength potion, if you are positive about getting the potion without saying he will do it, you can act surprised when he doesn't want to, and he says he supposes his past behaviour makes it surprising. If you then say you won't make him but we could really use that potion, he will go ahead and get it, then be grumpy/regretful. Back at camp you can apologise and say you didn't know it would mean so much to him, and he will realise why his past makes it important. You get the potion without any major relationship damage.
In Sharran Sanctuary the character that passes the checks gets +5 to Int, Cha, or Wis (depending on statue) until long rest - much more valuable thatn potions and scrolls
Thank you! I had forgotten about this! In my run I ended up doing a long rest just after going through the area so did not end up benifiting from these boosts.
After looking in every nook and cranny in all my different playthroughs I haven't gotten through every different dialogue option yet, so this was very helpful. Thank you!
Before you free Nightsong kill all the baddies in Moonrise in the backrooms, the basement and front and back entrances. Also free the Gnolls. You can even enter Ketheric's room upstairs and kill off the witches without aggro from Ketheric if you stay on the steps. These things make the Moonrise battle much easier.
You can also kill the people on the second floor and use the minor illusion to attract some of the people from the first up to the second floor. By the time I was done there were only 2 people left for the main fight.
On the potion you get from Astarion biting the drow; if romanced, pushing him to do it will almost certainly cause him to break up with your character. Its not recommended for anyone planning on romancing him.
In the mausoleum pit when you defeat that animated armor you can pick up the plate armor. The plate armor comes with necrotic resistance which is really good in this area.
Yes, I like making videos on it because I specifically spend more time exploring all the different things and options in the game just to make the videos.

A note on talking to the Absolute - If you destroyed the Grove, or knocked Minthara out to keep her alive to help Halsin, when you go to Minthara and attempt to free her, you can bypass every skill check on freeing her if you spoke with the absolute first! Im not sure if this is Durge specific, but it's worth keeping in mind if you want to recruit Minthara easier :)
For the Sharran Sanctuary, pass the checks for a +5 to wis, int, and cha. But they expire on long rest so definitely do first in a day and a great buff to bring to Kethric and can be split between Gale shadowheart and Wyll
I made Astarion bite her, it was pretty funny and I got a +2 str buff. She appears again in act 3 in BG itself near Beehive general goods. Steal her key when she cant see you. Rob out her cellar. then talk to her. She then wants do do something to you that I cant remember. Everyone is screaming at you not to do it. For jokes I just did it anyway. I've had 3 playthroughs and yet I was today years old when I found out that I could not only talk to Kressa Bonedaughter but also get a blessing boost (I usually go in crossbows and spells blazing)!
Kressa doesn't give you this option if you saunter in as the Dark Urge - even if you come in friendly. This is for story reasons I won't spoil. So I'd say have your Dark Urge character come in LAST, so you can get the buffs _and_ the Dark Urge plot line.
I only discovered it by mistake. I had initially gone in like you and killed them all, I shut down for the night after the battle but had forgotten to save haha. So next day I went in more stealthy and after listening in on her dialog with the others decided to talk to her.

Haha, moonrise does seem like it's something you would want to do last, had I not seen posts saying to do it first I probablywould have missed it too! As a side note to your last area, the restoration stations are all missing in honor mode and some are missing in tactitian. You can also get to the koa toa via the crypt by passing a perception check in the final room to spot the lever that unlocks the room to the chest and oozes. If you save all the tieflings via the boat at the back of the cells in moonrise tower, then talk to alfira she will give you and amazing piece of caster armor that gives plus prof modifier to cantrip damage, but ALL of them must survive, so if you open the cells and they make a run for it and die you wont get it.
