In this video, our family from the UK explores some of Shanghai's most iconic landmarks and attractions. We take in the breathtaking views at The Bund, immerse ourselves in the tranquility of Yu Gardens, and marvel at the heights of the Shanghai Tower. We also experience the Sightseeing Tunnel as we cross over the main river that goes through this amazing city, visit the world's largest Disney Store in the centre of Shanghai, and enjoy a view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, one of the most recognisable buildings in the world.

If you go to hongkong(5th richest), don’t forget to visit shenzhen, the 3rd richest city in china after Beijing and Shanghai. 90% foreigners never known : crossing hongkong- shenzhen boundary, British can apply "shenzhen visa" on arrival (only stay in Shenzhen area for 5 days) which is fair enough. Google :Shenzhen visa, you can go back to hi in 5 days with another visa free for entering hk.

The timing of this video is incredible. I arrive in Shanghai Friday morning. Staying one night right in the city on Nanjin road before moving over to Disneyland. Hoping to have a similarly awesome day and be able to stay awake through jetlag until it gets dark.
Hope you have an amazing trip! Are you doing the city the day of arrival or the next day? We struggled a little with the jet lag the day we arrived and were in bed before 6pm… This day was the day after 😊
@@TheKershawsAdventures Day of arrival. I know it will be rough. But we aren't gonna go too far from Nanjing road and the Bund. If some don't make it to evening that's OK. Shanghai is like the short bonus city of our trip. I'll make sure I see the lights even if it's after a nap. Our trip is primarily Disney in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Tokyo (we are Disney nerds and cast members). But we have a day in city of Hong Kong, 2 in Tokyo, And we are seeing some other places in Japan too. But most days are theme park days.
Amazing itinerary! Thats pretty much what we did, primarily the theme parks but also got to explore each city for one day! Hope you have a fab time, there’s some really incredible rides and shows out there!
@@TheKershawsAdventures Yes. I have been twice to Japan (06 and 13) and once to Hong Kong (06). But first with my kid and my wife's parents. And first to Shanghai. And obviously so much new stuff at the parks since then!
If you are interested. MCO took a full hour of confirmations before they gave us a boarding pass.
My Nan and I watched! She loved all of Olllies little facial expressions!

Shanghai is more like a romantic woman, while Beijing is more like a romantic man. Both needs time to discover. After several visits, I still have the desire to visit. Eat delicious Chinese foods while in China. Chinese are very friendly and Shanghai is a modern, safe, clean and beautiful city, you are free to go anywhere , China is not like what those arrogant British medias portrayed and spreading in the news.

And I'm living Qingdao .U can go there if u have the enough time. Qingdao is sooooo beautiful and it's warm . So many people go there in summer vacation .Caz the view is so beautiful .If u have any questions just ask me .😊

So nice to see Disney fans not just going to WDW every year, not just visiting Disney in China but visiting Shanghai itself. Actually this is by far your best video. I also suspect your son got the most out of this. And I’ve been to Disney maybe 30 times and own DVC so obviously not criticising that aspect. I think you make fantastic non Disney ‘family’ travel Vloggers.
I suggest also travelling around the USA, some amazing sights most U.K. people would never see.
Assume you are doing Tokyo? Japan is a big upcoming trip for us. Of course we intend to take in the best Disney Parks on that trip.

There’s a big difference between British kfc/mc don and Chinese. It was the first time that I had known that mc don didn’t sell chicken wings when I arrived uk 😂 but Chinese mc dons have a lot of different things, and they tasted different as well. KFC and Mc Donald in China were taken over by a Chinese company and were separated from their parent companies.
Yes the menus are pretty different! There’s a lot more additional choices than we get here!
You are wrong. McDonald owns half of the shares of McDonald's in China.
McDonald's (Global) (NYSE: MCD) owned all of McDonald's China before 2017, when McDonald's sold 52% to CITIC (00267.HK) and 28% to Carlyle Investment Group. McDonald's (Global) holds a 20% stake.
KFC China and KFC Global are owned by different companies. Parkson China (NYSE: YUMC) and Parkson (NYSE: YUM). The same goes for other brands under its umbrella, such as Pizza Hut.

Great video. Use the Pocket 3 for all your videos, much better quality video than your other camera. The Pocket 3 has better stability and better in low light.

We used alipay but it wouldn’t work with our Halifax clarity cards (the verification timed out before we could approve in the app) so we had to use our revolut cards

Not everyone can accept Chinese street food，but next time you can try to go to other province city，there are a lot different province food，if you like crowds of people in Tokyo，try to Chongqing，then you will miss the peace in Yu Park😄😆
We did try the street food, only got the McDonalds in case our son didn’t like anything else we were trying!
