The security thing showing your faces on the cross walk is so creepy!! Like some kinda Orwell movie. Loved the video!! Never wanted to go to Disneyland in china, but this made me consider it! Thanks for such a good video!!
It was a bit unnerving when it picked Gaz… still not 100% sure how it chooses who is getting shown 🙊 I’d definitely recommend Shanghai Disneyland to anyone, it’s an amazing park that we will 100% revisit in the future! 😃
One of the best things about that Tomorrowland is the background music. It really makes a “soundscape” that fits the land perfectly. Also, the idea behind the huge hub is that it’s like a garden. In China lots of families are 3 generations and it’s a beautiful place where grandparents can sit and watch their grandchildren ride the carrousel and Dumbo ride.
Thank you for showing us the tripod, that was helpful and something I wouldn't of thought would be a problem. Plus the steps on how to store it and get it back.
We agree! It truely feels like a level up in Shanghai! Thanks for sharing - Great to see you have an amazing time. Also worth noting that they can be funny about microphones! Had to do the same with my Rode Mic on our 2nd day - 1st day was fine...
In Chinese tourist attractions, there are usually loudspeakers or security personnel with loudspeakers broadcasting safety reminders. These typically advise people to walk carefully, proceed slowly, and not linger to avoid congestion. (The point is: don't linger.) Chinese people enjoy taking photos, but due to the large crowds, some often stop on the road to take pictures, which can lead to crowd congestion and even potential safety hazards. Therefore, when the scene is over or when entering the stadium, there will be more such "speakers for precautions", and the security will also require the people not to stop to take photos. To take photos, you need to wait for the crowd to disperse before coming back to take photos.
Thought I had better check out your Asia vlogs, I heard they were good from someone 😂😂. Everything just seems so much bigger and spaced out than MK or Tokyo. Pirates is on our must do list
Thanks Bazza! 😆 It’s so much bigger, we’d seen it on so many vlogs but they can’t do justice to the sheer size of the place! By far the most km we’ve ever walked in a Disney park!!
WOW! What a park. Tomorrowland and pirates look unreal. I've never really thought about doing this park, but I think I have to now! Thanks, as always, a brilliant vlog. X
Hi all of you. Wow! What a park 🤩 Shanghai Disneyland is just stunning ! I love that expansive space infront of the castle in the hub! And that Castle is so very special! Loved watching & seeing it all x
Wow what a vlog!!! What an incredible day you had!!! Pirates looked insane!!! I couldn’t get my breath with the queue to the bus!!! You were right to walk!! Absolutely fabulous. I really really would like to go but there looks like a serious amount of planning and research is needed!!
What a place! It’s for sure on the list, thanks guys for making such awesome vlogs that it means more of my money gone on travel 🤣 so looking forward to the next one 😍
Hiya 🤗 thank you for your honesty with your vlogs - I 100% appreciate it because if I was going to go there (one day hopefully) I’d want to be prepared. The park looked epic - hopefully it won’t spoil things too much when you visit WDW etc in the future. I’d be interested to see if you prefer Shanghai or Tokyo parks 🧐 Although you do have to go back to Tokyo to see Fantasy Springs 😊 I cannot wait for day 2 ♥️ xxx
We wanted to make sure we included the good and the bad as we know a lot of people will make a judgment on going off these videos. Defo need to get to fantasy springs and our favourite parks will be revealed in future videos 🤐
Really glad u like Shanghai😊 by the way, that’s weird, the hotel does not have laundry rooms cuz most of hotels in China have laundry facilities. Maybe u can check with the front desk next time:) Also, the megaphone is used to remind ppl not to push and crowd. To remind u watch the step. The cameras in China is not for surveillance, it’s only for recording. When there is an issue happens, police will check the recordings. London and Paris have the largest number of cameras in the world. No one cares these cameras in public areas. Anyway, u r welcome back again!
Thank you so much 😊 He meant self serve laundry facilities, they did have dry cleaning available but was very expensive per item. Definitely no laundry room you could go and do your own washing unfortunately
@@TheKershawsAdventures oh, sorry to hear that. Maybe u can try some chain hotel in Shanghai. They r high quality with affordable price. Good to know that’s what they were saying, we couldn’t get the translate app to work to figure it out! The purpose for this short trip was to do Disney but we will be back in the future to check more out! 😊

@ oh I like their tomorrow land for sure. I just also like the steam punk look of the tomorrow land in Paris and the 60’s - 90’s kind of vibe of the tomorrow lands in America. You know? The futuristic look of the one in Shanghai is great but it’s also great to see what we used to think the future might hold. If that makes sense? The Paris version especially makes me think of a steam punk alternate reality or something :) As for the Peter Pan… Well I find a certain charm in the OG rides they don’t have anymore. A sense of nostalgia. If properly maintained I don’t see the need for every old thing to be discounted as outdated and not as good. I like the nostalgic feel of the older things. It’s hard to explain but when they revamp the old rides and do big changes I feel a little sad. It’s like some history is going away forever. I’ve never been able to get to a Disney park so it means for me that by the time I get to the original Disneyland there really won’t be anything left of the original rides. Not as they originally were anyway. Pirates has changed so many times, Snow White has changed, no more splash mountain… I know time doesn’t wait for anyone or anything and progress happens but… I just have a special spot in my heart for the few things that are left.
Your child is keen to try new foods but I’ve noticed when he doesn’t like food it seems very consistent with the foods you very openly declare you don’t like. Seafood for example and this dessert here. Just an observation. Children are programmed to listen.
He’s always absolutely hated the smell of seafood, I love it so always try to get him to try it but it’s the one food he refuses to even taste so far. We have a rule in our house if you don’t have to like it but you do have to try it so he’s normally very open to trying foods.

We had no clue they’d have an issue with one so small either. I think usually they would send you out, just got lucky the security took pity on us!
An amazing video. The pirates of the Caribbean ride looks absolutely out of this world- even on camera.
Thank you! It’s just the most amazing ride!
I love this blog I was in florida in May getting ready for next year again bur its exciting yo see other disney around the world.
Thank you! The other parks are amazing as well!

It’s such a next level park, we loved it! Oooo we got lucky with the mics then, they didn’t say a word about them thankfully!

When did you visit shanghai Disney?
Easter this year 😄
That hotel looks insane wow
It was a very cool hotel!
Hiii, its bigger than the walt disney wordl (orlando)???
Yes, Shanghai Disneyland is a lot lot bigger than Magic Kingdom is 😊
What time of year was your visit?
We went for the last couple of days in March and first couple of days in April 😊
WIll be traveling there in a few weeks with the family. Any certain VPN that your using that works well there now?
Have a great trip! We used NordVPN but I’m fairly sure Holafly that we used for our eSIM also bypasses the firewall
Awesome!!!
What are your top3 Disneyland so far?
Ooooo good question! I think Disneyland in Cali is top then California adventure then Shanghai Disneyland for me (Anj)

😃
This version of pirates, looks amazing and theming oh wow!!!!
It’s genuinely ruined all other versions of it! It was incredible!
Lina bell ❤
She’s the cutest 🥰
I really disagree with you guys about tomorrow land. Also with Peter Pan.
Do you not like them? That’s our absolute favourite Tomorrowland, feels more “tomorrow” than any other Disney park we feel!

What?
People say that Winnie the Pooh is banned in China?
I believe it was just the film that wasn’t allowed to be shown over there
😂,Im Chinese,and I grew up with pooh cartoon😂
im chinese and we have pooh comics, books (all translated in Chinese) and toys from when i was young till now.

@I do a similar thing with my nephews. Try at least a little and if you don’t like it then that’s ok.
no matter how good other part is, the security policy makes Shanghai the worst disney park in the world
It didnt really affect us at all apart from a little delay to send the tripod back and the park more than makes up for that!
Looks amazing!🎉🎉🎉
It’s an incredible park!
