It's not that difficult too,
7.5 mins = 1 km
7.5/60 hr = 1 km
1 hr = 60/7.5
1 hr = 600/75
Now you know 75*10 is 750 so you reduce 75 and it's still more then 600 so it's 8. Something but then you realise it's just 75 more so it comes exactly 8.
Simple 7.5 min for 1 km
So 7.5 ×2 = 15 min me 2 km to 60 min me 8 km 😅

so
I also running 15 minutes is equal to 2 km
then
30 minutes is equal to 4 km and

There is a big difference in 7.5 mins ( 7 mins and 30 secs) and 7.10 mins i.e. 7.1 mins ( 7 min and 6 seconds)

Hope, you understand now... Itne bhi spoon feeding ki jaroorat nahi thi mujhe.. but I hope it could catch your out of the box concerns...
Note: as per your question, 7.10 mins means 7 minutes and 6 seconds... And 7.25 min means 7 mins and 15 seconds.

Yr calculation is really so good but when I watched this my calculation is like. If it takes 7.5 mnt for 1 km and so how much km u run in an hour so just think first 1 hour means 60 mnts. Then multiply 7 × 8 = 56. And now u need only 4 mnts to complete 60 so just multiply. Rest of the kms means .5 × half of 8 means 4 so just calculate 56+4=60. Aur yeh logo aa jate hain ssb exam Dene.
