Creed was not a Christian Rock Group, as Scott Stapp has said many times, but he is a Christian and the songs he wrote and performed reflected that. His stepfather was a strict Pentecostal preacher and he often rebelled against that growing up which was the reason he bought an electric guitar and learned to play it. His stepfather would often say it was an instrument of the devil. But as he got older he returned to his roots. When he sang those songs, I believe he was trying to come to terms with his own beliefs.
I always felt this song was about finding yourself. The world can pull us about and cause us to not even recognize our own reflection. Get back to who you truly are.
Haven't heard CREED in a while. Supposedly the singer got a lot of hate for sounding like him of Pearl Jam. I never thought so. Eddie has more,,,,,,, Man!!?? Though I like some CREED Im not a fan of that annoying CLANK of a snare drum 🥁. Great Reaction!! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎🎸🤟🏼
This song is not a drug song. It's about being with the man he used to be. He's meeting himself again. It's self reflection.
CREED has always been spiritual in my life ✌🏻
My Own Prison is my favorite. Thanks y'all. Love the glasses btw. Cool. Your not off on the subject.
That song is tough
Andre & Dominica, Congratulations on 100K...keep going you 2 are honest & genuine, very easy to love! Ya gotta checkout "One" from these Guys!
This song is about reconnecting with yourself. Coming out of a place/period of darkness and stepping back into the light.
I love this beautiful song, his voice gives me chills, such emotion in his words✌️

Creed is such a great band, yet very underrated
Mark Tremonti's rhythm guitar for me is one of the best in rock history.
