    He has some Big Name brand decals on that lift. if you look at all the stickers on it. Some well known people and companies have checked that out.

    Saw something very similar to this back in 2009, but they used air bag suspension, had a gas Briggs and Stratton engine to operate the hydraulics and portable air compressor, but the front was different. The lift was a 12 or 15k capacity but also could be used as a trailer and was a 4 post lift. It was the coolest improvement made to these lifts. Believe they built there's for around $4500-5000 and used quite often.

    The design needs some minor changes to speed it up.

    • @IR-nq4qv
      @IR-nq4qv 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Let's be realistic....It takes longer when you have to stop every two seconds to explain every step to someone during an interview what you are doing. Set up time is neither here no there.
      I would also offer, this would already be set up at the track in the event that it would be required, much like a merch trailer, so in that sense, set up time would never be a factor.
      At just under 10 grand this is a drop in the bucket to serious drag racers with big sponsors. Money is not an option when a car falls of sketchy jack stands and there's a person crushed under a car.. This would have been a god send and welcome sight to the many who have changed out transmissions and rear ends on the fly while laying on their back. I give this invention and concept 👍👍 and a 10 / 10

    Rober, this is cost better than the concrete slap foundation and it is Mobile.
    I like the idea, but really how much you are selling complete set from this demo?
    I am not worry about the safety as long you don't rise the vehicle very high, and the warranty as long as you built open-flat-bed trailer with high quality steel strength should be lasting for 20 years with pro care for daily uses.
    9000lbs lift would cost @ $5K. The custom made trailer with super quality duty steels for the lift mounted on would cost $5K.
    My estimating should not be less than $10K total. This is about the idea, not the products quality.

  • @Skul-Ski
    @Skul-Ski 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Cool concept but the hitch arrangement definitely needs to be re-done. it obviously has way more tongue weight than a bumper hitch can handle as can be seen by that custom fabricated under the car ball hitch with an air bag used to cushion the bounce. It would need at least a 1 ton truck to haul that kind of tongue weight no matter how you slice it so might as well just make it a goose neck setup which will make that rig much safer. I would be willing to bet there are some serious towing safety issue going on with that setup somewhere.

    Now you all can drive further, after fixing the junk every 30,000/60,000 and if you are lucky,...100,000 miles.
    And you won't need a garage.
    It would cost a lot to build a garage too accommodate a lift like that if it weren't on the trailer.

      Most early production items are not as cheap as those that have been around a while and are mass produced. I’m sure early lifts were 6-8k and with inflation probably equates to 10k. This is a specialty tool, if you don’t need it, it’s not for you. You would spend the money on high end triple square wrenches if you didn’t work on German cars , same idea here.
