It's been quite a while seeing Curse of Dragon into the deck profile since it very first came out.
Tragoedia is a question of preference, because you have to take damage beforehand.
With Gorz, you've gotta have an empty field (and if you get hitten with a 5k beater it's probable you just lost):
No Birdman because it's really inconsistent now at 1, and no synchros because he isn't running birdman nor the vanilla lv2 tuner.
Thoughts on Dragon Shrine and Silver's Cry? I think they can add some more options to Hieratics, especially with Cry being able to get you another level six out that turn.

I have 6 spots in my hieratic deck left. I am either thinking of putting mst, forbidden lance or breakthrough skill in. Can you guys tell me what you would put in? Thanks

Well you have to look at it like you're playing in a major tournament. He main decked 3 maxx c bc all he will be playing against is mostly e. dragons and more e. dragons. but in a normal locals tournament you are definitely correct.
personally, I think Lance and Breakthrough Skill would be good. You should definitely try anything that is within your interest. I use Wingbeat a lot. Pretty good, but it also depends on who you are playing against lol. Good luck!

maybe the combination of all of those and the cards he put in it instead made it even better? Plus he's probably had his fair share of building decks.
i would put 2 breakthrough skill for sure because it helps a lot against ophion which can screw you over

Hieratics are stronger this format. I'm not 100% sure about 3 Wattdragon, though.

ya but hieratic is OFFENSIVE! its not a defnsive deck with like battle fader and stuff, your not supposed to try to end battle phases but to OTK get all the strong monsters out and finish it fast thats the true hieratic!

why are they trash? give me 1 good reason! with red eyes darkness metal dragon and a trageodia you can bring Gustav max and with gorz he is pretty good if your opponent attacks you with a 5k attack monster then hey, you got an op token! and ya i agree on the birdman and no synchro but still

ok but 3 max c? i rather side it because not all decks are meta or special summon 20 times a round and imagine you pull 3 maxx c and the opponent only normal summons? your stuck men, STUCK
