Hello ...My name is Joe....I live in Miami. I enjoy your boating videos. I've done a lot of boating I did not like the overnight stay recently alone at sea Much too dangerous. The world is crazy That is a risk you don't need to take. I enjoy all your videos. I'm now 66...and a bit hobbled due to a tree cutting incident I had 11 years ago. But I still can get around a bit. Your associate...Life By The Bow...is another video series I thoroughly enjoy too. I wish you made more videos, but understand there are complexities involved Anyways, take care. Keep enjoying and sharing. Thanks, Joe
Thanks Joe I wish I could make more videos myself but due to work life and weather that sometimes becomes a challenge. Thank you for the support I hope you enjoy the video tonight
Great sea trial and walk through. 👍🏻 Was very informative coming from a person who owns a Gamefish 30. Your observations regarding the ride and apparent strength/rigidity of the hull lend credibility to what Sea Hunt has created with this new boat. Thank you for taking us along with you and Moe. Have a vacation planned on Tavernier in end of March. Might have to have Moe take us for a demo on that boat.
@@MiamiLiving305 it would be interesting to tour their factory and see the new stringer system layout configuration in the 28 and compare it to the 30. It’s a brand new hull with a new stringer configuration to accommodate the new fish boxes and bilge. Might be the reason for the improved ride? Wouldn’t surprise me if the new hull is indeed more rigid and stable feeling and has a different center of gravity vs the 27 and 30. That’s a testament to their design team to create a totally new boat that performs better yet carries forward their signature look with the Carolina flare and classic styling.
@@reeddill7842 That would be nice but seahunt likes to keep things private and are very careful who they let come to the factory because trust me I had talked about that seam idea for a video! I can say that from what I felt they are def on the right track. Im excited to see what is gonna happen now with their flagship model the gamefish 30
I'm a Mercury guy ..for years and decades...but those Yamahas seem to stand the test of time ..And they purr...too ..they also howl when going all out...All good ..
Nice lookin boat and those twin 300rds sound great. I loved the drone shots of you all winding through the mangroves, so cool. My limited experience with boat mart has been great. they appear to be a first class dealership. Thanks for showing us the new Sea Hunt 28.
I also enjoyed the video of the new Seahunt 28....It grinds those two 300's....real well...60mph is plenty of power...plus the boat is sleek riding ..It probably plows right thru rougher seas than was tested...I didnt think I would enjoy the test so much but I did...Thanks....
I had two small boats....but also spent much time boating on many boats, mostly in S FLA...Bahamas, some Keys...I rode bikes thru out Key Biscayne. including all of Cape FLA....like the seawall from La Lagunita (Hurricane Harbor) to the lighthouse and then back all the way to Key Biscayne Yacht Club ..Spent much time at the Yacht Club boating out of there too ..Boated on many boats i.e. Bertram .Donzi...Well craft...Magnum . @@MiamiLiving305right on. Do it while you can bruh. I gave up boating and started RVing. So now at 65 I think I’m gonna get another boat and leave the RV up in destin. Time is running out to create new memories.😊

You don't want to provoke anyone to take a chance on you They might think it's a slam dunk and be surprised by your readiness. But the preparedness is not worth the trouble, where and when it can be avoided. Maybe I'm ultra conservative for some things but better safe than sorry. In any event long live the conservative boating community.
Hey Miami 305....when is your next trip looking like...I'm eagerly looking forward to your next adventure ..Whereever you go ..I'm there enjoying the outing ..Bring it on...Thanks ..
Why does Sea Hunt keep the fuel line ( with the bulb you squeeze) running as a separate line to the engines. No other manufacturer has this setup. It does not look good. However the rest of the boat looks very nice. The sound of those 300s is awesome when they are hitting the higher cruise speeds. I'd love to see more vids like this of other boats in this size range.
Hey 305....when are you doing your solo trip ..you mentioned..."next week"....Does that mean this week when the wind settles down a bit ...I'm excited for you ...and for this trip ..Enjoy it. Have a good one ..And don't forget the trip questions ..Thanks ..

Love your videos and appreciate them. I have a GF27. I'd say those numbers are not impressive at all. Less than 1/4 tank of fuel, no gear or ice, empty livewells etc. That boat is about as light as it can get. Those performance numbers won't hold up once it's loaded up as you know. Good walk through though thanks.
That’s why we said in the video to note that the boat had low fuel and is not loaded up. I mean if you compare it to other 28’s in the market I think those number are top tier in the 28ft center console class
you can flash your 250's to 333 and it would be faster and more efficient then the 28 with 300 but you wont have the same ride quality as the new hull @@braddaignault8098
I've thought about getting the tune just for better fuel economy but I have a lot of reservations about doing that. No doubt the 28 would ride better, do you know if they did a different lamination schedule on the 28 compared to the 27 or 30? @MiamiLiving305
So ..the question becomes..did the boat mart shirt have mercury as a sole sponsor on the shirt....in an ideal setting Yamaha could have been on that shirt instead of Mercury...if in fact Mercury was on it ...
Yep ...the guy had a shirt that clearly said Mercury Clark as day...right on that back...no biggie...but not a sponsorship moment...for that segment. .to those involved.....at the expense of Yamaha....it seems ..
