Rex 121 or other steels that reach 70-72hrc would be a challenge for it. Tungsten carbide is about 75-78hrc. The steels you mentioned go up to 65hrc. It would take more time, but it will cut them. Rex 121 or s390 at 70hrc+ would be interesting to see.
@@TroySouth-xd4ns you have to learn to be confident with the angle and pressure. Noticed how rapidly my hands move. This cuts down the time it takes to actually remove a little bit of steel. Not if you want to sharpen your 400$ sushi knife to obsidian level.
