That's a very lovely looking part of the world there Bob, looks a little bit like where I am in Ireland.
What a fine looking truck and one last special mention must go to that engine bay, clean and simple and nothing cluttering up the view.

Heck yeah Bob! I like the manual brakes! Had an issue with power brakes with a big cam,, no vacuum! Manual disc brake conversion! Keep up the great builds!

One of the best looking truck builds I've seen on TH-cam in the past 5 years.
Cool build Bob..you could find a close ratio steering box..but a steering wheel disability knob works good. I thought I seen flames on the drive by. Maybe mask off flames. 600 grit and clear coat.. well done Bob. Gives encouragement to many people. And on video for life. Good luck with the next build..

I owned 12 F250 Highboy trucks from 67-72, and every one had "arm strong" steering. Once you got it rolling, the big mud tires turned easy peasy. Great job on the JYD Bob, we learned a lot of new tricks and got to come along for a wonderful journey. Stay safe brother

That is one neat, KISS engine compartment! And the dash/instrument cluster looks fine, too! Really like how the valve covers came out. All just a super clean look.
