Sorry for those of who joined the premiere. I have no CLUE why it suddenly stopped and ended. Must have been Colonel Mustard with the wrench in the TH-cam server room. Anyway, hopefully you can view the full vid now. Enjoy!!
In case you're wondering, the reason there are three endings is because they wanted to create a gimmick for people to go see the movie at the theatre more than once. Originally, depending on which theatre you went to/day you went to the movie, you'd get a different ending. When they released it on home media, this was during the days before DVD existed where they could simply have an options menu, so when the VHS was released they just altered the movie so that all three endings played one after the other at the end, like you two watched, and that became the standard version of the movie.
Newspapers used to list theaters and show times, for Clue they used an (A) (B) or (C) so folks could see all three endings. The movies themselves varied slightly to fit the particular solve but certain phrases (red herring) were in all three.
It also was a way so no one could spoil the ending for people. Could you imagine your friend telling you it was Scarlet but for you it was Peacock?? 😂😂
There's a fourth ending that never made it to the big screen, in which Wadsworth tells all the suspects that he secretly poisoned the champagne and they'll all be dead in three hours, then he escapes the house, only to be mauled to death by police dogs. As dark as that is, it's actually spelled out in a children's book adaptation of the movie...
It was also because you needed at least three players to play the game, and at the end, everyone made their guess as to who did it. This represented the reading of these at the end of the game, and of course, the actual envelope that told who did it.
I went to three theaters in OKC to see all three endings. My mother was put out and didn't understand why she had to drive across town to take me to movie I had already seen, twice. 😅 This movie remains one of my all time favorite comedies nearly 40 years later.
He was great in the movie Legend (1985). Darkness was a way cooler character than Tom Cruise's character Jack. Too bad though that Darkness was evil and not good. He seemed to really love Mia Sara's character Lili. If I had directed the film, I would have changed the ending to Darkness renouncing his wicked ways after Lili showing him the error of his ways. Also Darkness and Lili together at the end and Jack is understanding of their love. He goes off into the forest on another adventure to hopefully to find his own love.

That and the "flames on the side of my face" speech are some of my favorite lines from any film. Cluedo, was produced in 1944 by a Husband and Wife, the games company, Waddingtons, thought the name should rhyme with 'Ludo' ('I Play' in Latin) which was the most popular game at the time so they combined the names. Years later it was established in the U.S.A. and called by its original title of 'Clue' as 'Ludo' was well known in America.
I have loved this movie since I was a kid. As an adult, it still doesn't get old. There are so many funny quotes. The dry humor and physical humor are on point as well. Tim Curry is hilarious and the entire main cast shines. FYI, Debra Hill produced this movie. She helped John Carpenter make the original "Halloween" in 1978. Hence the name of the mansion, Hill House. When it was released in theaters, one of the 3 possible ending were shown at random around the country. Sadly, it bombed, but it has since become a cult classic. Another really good movie you ladies may consider is "Sleepy Hollow" from 1999 directed by Tim Burton, starring Johnny Depp.
@@johnbox271 John Carpenter's immortal classic "The Thing" suffered a similar fate. It was harshly received by movie critics but now is properly recognized as one of the greatest horror movies of all time.
My two favorite Taxi episodes are Reverend Jim episodes: him getting his drivers license, and him as a straight laced Ivy League, no.vice college student. "What does a.yellow light mean?". " Slow down! " "Wwwhhhaaattt dddoooeeesss a.yyyelllowww liiiggghhhttt mmmeeeaaannn?"
I absolutely love this movie. I was 14 when it came out in theaters and it is one of my absolute favorites. One of Tim Curry's funniest performances. He stole the show. The Singing Telegram Girl was played by Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Go's. She also played Joan of Arc in Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure.
Madelyn Kahn (Mrs White) is in Paper Moon and What's Up Doc; both of which u need to watch. Michael McKean (Mr Green) was Lenny on Laverne and Shirley, He was also in This is Spinal Tap, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind; All required viewing. The butler (Tim Curry) was in Rocky Horror Picture Show. Almost everone there was iconic
And Mr. Boddy (Ving Lee) is the lead singer of the punk band Fear, and the singing telegram girl, is Jane Wiedlin, of The Go-Go's, and The Chief, of course, was Howard Hessman - best known as Dr. Johnny Fever.
And for those of us growing up in the 90s, they might recognize Martin Mull from Sabrina the Teenage Witch as Vice Principal Willard Kraft. Mull also voices Vlad from Danny Phantom.
This is such a classic. Tim Curry has a reputation for playing villains and this shows off not only that side of him but his comedic side. He makes this movie with the ending And I love how much these people feel like real people; we don't know that much about them, but we know how they act and react
Fun fact! The 3 endings that are shown were not all shown in the movies. Theaters were given the film reels randomly. Only when it came out on VHS later did they combine all the ending into one like it shown.
It was so crazy when this movie came out, and then you started talking with your friends about who did it, and you slowly realized that you didn't all see the same ending. Great concept! This is such a fun movie, with some big stars of the time. Thanks for reacting to it ladies! 😊
Love that episode! Martin Mull, Lesley Ann Warren, and Christopher Lloyd played in that episode. And Tim Curry starred as 'Nigel St, Nigel' in Season Two's 'American Duos'.
My best friend and I were 12 when we saw this in a theater in 85. The ending you saw depended on the theater you watched it in. Maybe even based on your region of the country if I remember correctly. The board game was huge at the time.
One of the local malls in my hometown had one of those multi-plex theatres with 4 screens, and THREE of them showed this film...each with a different ending.
Fun fact. I think when it came out they released some versions with each of the different endings. It was before social media, so after a weekend, people would meet at work and find other people had seen a different movie ending and drive more curiousity on the film.
That would be a great follow up to Clue. Eileen Brennan who was Mrs. Peacock is in Murder by Death too. Another older film that has a similar vibe is Arsenic and Old Lace.
I know very little about this movie. FUN FACT: The singing telegram girl was Go-Go member singer and guitarist, Jane Wiedlin. For reference, she can be heard singing the line: "Hush my darling, don’t you cry. "Quiet angel, forget their lies," on the song "Our Lips Are Sealed."
What's funny is that no matter how many times I watch this movie, I never remember who the real murderer is. There are so many endings it actually keeps it fresh for me every time.
Earlier this year, I was in my local theatre company's stage production of CLUE and I played Mr Boddy (a.k.a. Dr Black in the international version: Cluedo)
The scene where the poor singing telegram girl gets shot always makes me laugh so hard. A masterful demonstration of using quick cut edits to make a darkly funny scene even more hilarious!
We loved this movie when it came out. We knew all the performers and it was wonderful seeing them all together here. We frequently played the game and it's so much fun how well the movie was executed.
A bit of info on some of the cast. Mrs Peacock was Eileen Brennan who was in The Sting (Paul Newmans lady friend who ran the brothel and picked the guys pocket on the train). Miss Scarlet was Lesley Ann Warren who among other fine performances played Cinderella in the (I think 1965 version) and if you haven't seen it you should watch. Mrs White was Madeline Kahn who was in Young Frankenstein and a bunch of other movies as well. Really a great cast all around. Don't know if you are familiar with the group The Go Gos but the singing telegram lady was Jane Wiedlen. Several of the others as well had really good success in movies and TV. As always you 2 are so much fun to watch. We all love Cassie, but it's twice the fun when we get to see Carly too.
@@44excalibur Yes, I know. I know why Americans changed the name of the game. I don't know why they changed the name of the victim. Spoils the pattern of all the color names.
Cassie, Carly, this is a most fantastic film for the two of you to watch together. There are so many insanely quotable lines in this film. The whole cast is fantastic. The two that stand out the most, or at least the two that give my favorite performances of the film are Tim Curry and Madeline Kahn.
This is one of my favorite comedies of all time! The jokes are so quick that you could miss them. Everyone killed it & all had a moment to shine. I’m glad you watched something with Madeline Kahn because she was a treasure, so funny & a very talented singer, you can hear it when they are singing when Mrs. Peacock is leaving. And Tim Curry is another one you need to see more of, he’s a hilarious. I won’t mention the 3 endings since it’s already been discussed but there are so many other fun facts about this movie. Like, there was very little improvising, everything was pretty much written on the page except for Mrs. White’s flame rant, that was completely improvised & along with the guys reaction, it’s the best scene in the movie for me. Also they completely designed the mansion just like in the game, down to where the rooms & passage ways are. Also all their cars are the color of their name, sadly you can’t tell as well since it’s dark & raining. And like you mentioned when you go back & re-watch it you can see the clues. And it was Mustard that put the evidence in the fire, he wanted to burn those pictures
Clue is a spectacular film. I stumbled upon this years ago at a video store (when those were still a thing) and rented it on VHS (when THOSE were still a thing), and watched it with my friends. It's an absolute riot, and remains one of my favorite films to this day. I still think this is Tim Curry's finest performance.
You were right on the money, Miss Scarlett was played by Leslie Ann Warren....annnd she played Will's Fathers Mistress on Will and Grace.among many other roles like Pure Country and Cinderella and Victor victoria. love her.
If you're a fan..I think it was season 7.. "Psych" had a full on homage episode including several cast members.. Lloyd, Mull and Warren called "100 Clues".
Playing the board game many times before this movie came out made it so fun to watch. They really played up all of the items from the game including secret passages.
This is a movie that never gets old! Once you get past the surprises and trying to figure out whodunnit, you can really take in the subtle and dry humor. Ive watched Clue at least once a year since 1985, and I still enjoy it! 1 plus 2 plus TWO plus one! And the way Tim Curry says No. Nyew. I’m going to watch it again! Great reaction, y’all!
As soon as this popped up, I clicked immediately!! Haven't been this excited for a reaction in a while. This is in my fav top 5 movies. So underrated. And Madeline Kahn....amazing
This movie never gets old. I watch it at least once a year and laugh my ass off like it’s the first time. It’s an absolute triumph of comedy filmmaking.
This is the movie I can quote more than any other, cuz I've probably seen it more than any other as I was a kid when it started airing on HBO in the late '80s. I initially loved the mystery, and by the time I was a teenager in the late '90s, I loved the one-liners and humor. As an adult, I see what they are parodying when I go back and watch older Agatha Christie whodunits like Death On The Nile and Evil Under The Sun (Murder On The Orient Express goes without saying), and the brilliant The Last Of Sheila. This movie takes all of that influence and makes us laugh. Madeline Kahn, Tim Curry and Eileen Brennan are my VIPs but they are ALL perfection!
Wait… what?! WHAT?!!! I may have seen this film more times than any other in my lifetime (I wouldn’t doubt if it was closer to a thousand times than not… seriously!), so it’s hard to even CONCEPTUALIZE an adult watching it for the first time!!! Oh, I’m here for this!!!
When this came out to the theatres in 1985, different theatres were showing different endings. It wasn't until it was released on home video, that all three endings were available at the same time. NOW there are certain DVDs that not only allow you to choose which ending to watch, it also has the option to show a random ending, so you don't know WHAT ending you'll get.
I was literally just wondering to myself if there's a DVD that randomizes the ending! But then I thought there couldn't possibly be something like that, I didn't think anyone would go to the trouble… If what you say is true, I'm so happy!
The novelty of it would be lost, cause the fact they did it would be leaked like 2 years before it came out, and all the endings would be slathered over the internet 5 days before it was even released.
Carly making reference to Kataan has put her on a whole new level for me as a fellow gamer. Loved both your reactions. I have loved this movie and cast and if I'm flipping channels and it's on, I have to watch it to the end, even if only 5 minutes are left. On another note....after the holidays....A movie this reminded me of with an amazing cast and a comedy NOISES OFF I know you both will enjoy it.
When I was in theatre in high school we wrote and produced our own production of Clue, based on the movie. It was a BLAST, and our Wadsworth went just as fast and nailed it just as hard!
Though it's not really a clue that can help you figure it out beforehand, as there's no reason to believe that anyone that did wouldn't lie and say they didn't. It's more of a nice nod that can be recognized as a point later AFTER we know.
Always great to see Carly on the reactions. I didn't realise at first that Colonel Mustard is played by Martin Mull (Willard Kraft), from Sabrina the Teenage Witch
Hey, Cassie and Carly! Kudos for reacting to this movie! It's definitely one of my favorites! I saw it in a theater and my multiplex in New York played all three options. You bought an A, B or C ticket which designated the auditorium the specific ending was featured in. I bought the VHS and then the DVD. I must have seen this film over thirty times! It never gets old. Tim Curry gives a tour-de-force performance as Wadsworth. Christopher "Doc Brown" Lloyd from "Back to the Future" played the licentious Prof. Plum! The cast are all comedy greats in perfect sync with each other. It's a wonderful little gem. There's been talk of a remake but this is a lightning-in-a-bottle situation like "Ghostbusters" or "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World!" A different cast would change the dynamic completely. Many reactors try to solve the murders but the crimes are incidental to the comedy! While all three solutions hold up under close scrutiny, you're not expected to identify the right culprit although there's no harm in trying. It's really just meant to be a madcap backstage farce all in good fun!
The board game is a perennial staple like Monopoly that's been around since 1949! The movie utilizes all the characters, weapons, rooms and secret passages that are components in the game which you well know. Boddy Mansion is the setting of the game and it is Mr. Boddy's murder players attempt to solve. Another good comedic whodunnit is "Murder By Death" which features parody versions of the great cinematic sleuths like Charlie Chan, Nick and Nora Charles, Sam Spade, Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple gathered together by real-life true-crime author Truman Capote. A terrific whodunnit with a psychological twist is "Identity"! Trivia unrelated to the production: Lesley Ann-Warren and Susan Sarandon have been mistaken for each other so often in real life that the actresses agreed to sign autographs using their doppelganger's name if erroneously requested by fans!
This cast was perfectly chosen. Tim Curry is brilliant as always. the fact that audiences got different outcomes basically chosen at random was genus level. No one really knew which ending they would get.
I swear, Cassie needs to do a Tim Curry marathon. It (1990), Rocky Horror, and even though it’s not that good, he scared the giblets out of me in Legend (1986) as a kid. This dude can make a one star movie earn a one star because he’s in it.
This movie had 4 different endings when it was released And the ending you got all depended on the theatre you went to Different theaters got different copies of the film when it was distributed
Eileen Brennon played the older woman, the killer in the second ending was also in a very similar who dunnit 11 years earlier with another allstar cast, called Murder By Death, and has some very funny moments in it also, especially with Peter Sellars, Peter Falk, David Niven, and James Cromwell, (now famous for Star Trek and "I Robot" with will smith) but the Butler is played by non other than Alec Guiness of Star Wars fame, he was the original Obi Wan Kenobi, a jedi. He plays a blind butler, there is a deaf mute cook and Truman Capote is their host.
So many great actors - and of course Jane Wiedlin from the Go Go’s as the singing telegram girl. As noted the theater release featured various different endings, with one of three possibilities sent to each movie theater. These were later combined in the later video release as seen here.
The singing telegram girl is played by Jane Wiedlin, who you may know as Joan of Arc in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, or more likely, as the guitarist from the Go Go's
One of my favorite movies as a kid! My sister and I watched this movie so many times growing up! We even played this game soooo many times! We got so good at it though, that we had to improvise with the rules, eventually picking 3 random cards instead of 1 person, room and weapon, and then increasing it to 5 cards and 7 cards for sure, possibly even 9 cards, but neither of us can remember.
It blew my mind to find out this movie and Back To The Future came out the same year. I mostly knew Christopher Lloyd from that movie I assumed he was that age not this young.

"...it bombed, but it has since become a cult classic..."
So many of the films that endure are like that.
I think Cassie already did Sleepy Hollow.
I really hated this movie. I just found it meandering, boring, tedious, and predictable.
@@johnbox271 John Carpenter's immortal classic "The Thing" suffered a similar fate. It was harshly received by movie critics but now is properly recognized as one of the greatest horror movies of all time.
I believe you are right
The singing telegram ALWAYS gets me! 😂☠️🤣
Jane Wiedlin - guitarist for The Go-Go's
I wonder if anyone remembers Christopher Lloyd as Reverend Jim on Taxi.
Taxi was a vehicle, pun intended, that launched a number of careers.
This is such a fun movie! Tim Curry, as usual, steals the show!
“Flames on the side of my face…heaving breaths” 😂😂😂
This is one of the most highly quotable movies from the 80s. Seeing it never gets old or stale. So glad you got to experience this classic!
One thing to note, the cars that each character drives in the beginning of the film are the same color as the color of their piece is in the game
Lol. Carly looked shook when she thought she was about to watch a horror movie. 😳
That moment when you go round to your sister's house to watch a fun movie together, and then she mentions that it's October 👻
They...didn't laugh much...
CASSIE & CARLY: Recognize that French Maid? It's the policewoman featured in Die Hard With A Vengeance!
Don't forget Madelyn Kahn was fiancé of Dr. Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein!
Agree with What's Up Doc? a very funny film.
And Mr. Boddy (Ving Lee) is the lead singer of the punk band Fear, and the singing telegram girl, is Jane Wiedlin, of The Go-Go's, and The Chief, of course, was Howard Hessman - best known as Dr. Johnny Fever.
Love Paper Moon. Got it on Blu-ray recently.
And for those of us growing up in the 90s, they might recognize Martin Mull from Sabrina the Teenage Witch as Vice Principal Willard Kraft. Mull also voices Vlad from Danny Phantom.
So excited! Please remember "Flames! Flames! On the side of my face." Madeline Kahn is the best!!!
This is such a classic. Tim Curry has a reputation for playing villains and this shows off not only that side of him but his comedic side. He makes this movie with the ending
And I love how much these people feel like real people; we don't know that much about them, but we know how they act and react
Fun fact! The 3 endings that are shown were not all shown in the movies. Theaters were given the film reels randomly. Only when it came out on VHS later did they combine all the ending into one like it shown.
I saw it in a theater. We got the Mrs. Peacock ending.
@@BPBlandthat’s like the worst ending 😂
It was so crazy when this movie came out, and then you started talking with your friends about who did it, and you slowly realized that you didn't all see the same ending. Great concept! This is such a fun movie, with some big stars of the time. Thanks for reacting to it ladies! 😊
Such an underrated movie also if you're not familiar with Psyche the TV show they do a tremendous parody episode which is a must watch.
Yes! The “100 Clues” episode!
And that episode co-starred many of the actors from “Clue.”
Love that episode! Martin Mull, Lesley Ann Warren, and Christopher Lloyd played in that episode.
And Tim Curry starred as 'Nigel St, Nigel' in Season Two's 'American Duos'.
(Psych-o here) Curt Smith’s scene in 100 Clues cracks me up every time I watch that episode!! …and The American Duos episode is classic! 🍍🍍🍍
🍍🍍🍍 Psycho here too!
Scarlet is Leslie Ann Warren she was in quite a few things my favorite was when she was Cinderella in a TV movie by Rogers and Hammerstein!!
My best friend and I were 12 when we saw this in a theater in 85. The ending you saw depended on the theater you watched it in. Maybe even based on your region of the country if I remember correctly. The board game was huge at the time.
My girlfriend and I traveled to different theaters and saw all the endings. I don't remember why. 😂
Yeah I went to see it three times, got the same ending every time. Didn't see all the endings until it came out on video.
@@davepalliaser4798 some theaters started color coding to show which ending they were showing.
One of the local malls in my hometown had one of those multi-plex theatres with 4 screens, and THREE of them showed this film...each with a different ending.
the tv show psych parodied this movie for their 100th ep and had the east and west coast get different endings
Fun fact. I think when it came out they released some versions with each of the different endings. It was before social media, so after a weekend, people would meet at work and find other people had seen a different movie ending and drive more curiousity on the film.
You have to do Murder by Death now! A very silly, very funny, film that pokes gentle fun at old detective stories.
Murder by Death is one of my favorites.
One of my favs.
Yes, and it’s much better than Clue
So many great actors in that one too.
That would be a great follow up to Clue. Eileen Brennan who was Mrs. Peacock is in Murder by Death too. Another older film that has a similar vibe is Arsenic and Old Lace.
I know very little about this movie.
FUN FACT:
The singing telegram girl was Go-Go member singer and guitarist, Jane Wiedlin.
For reference, she can be heard singing the line: "Hush my darling, don’t you cry. "Quiet angel, forget their lies," on the song "Our Lips Are Sealed."
YES!!
LOVE THIS MOVIE!!
Shout Factory is releasing a collector's edition 4k+Blu Ray this Christmas.
Add it to your collection.
I think the upcoming documentary is supposed to be included on it?

I swear I have a mandala effect of plum saying “Aw SH*T”
The singing telegram girl was played by Jane Wiedlin, guitarist in The GoGos.
Try "murder by death," has a A list cast ,peter falk ,peter sellers, alec guiness ,truman Capote, david niven, maggie smith x 😊
I really wish someone would do a reaction video to Murder By Death.
That and Radioland Murders.
Murder good weekend.
i love that movie
Don't forget The Cheap Detective. Both this and Murder By Death is a real spoof on all those mysteries from the heydays.
That’s one of my favorites too!
I always laugh at the singing telegram part. It just to funny. Yes someone was shot but it's someone we never want to show up at our doors
Of course there is a Mr. Boddy in the game, ladies! Who do you think is the victim whose murder each player is trying to solve?
Mr. Boddy aka Lee Ving the lead singer for the band Fear
Who's the victim? Dr Black. Every time I played Cluedo.
@@paulkennedy8701 In the American version of Clue, the victim is Mr. Boddy.
@@44excalibur
Yes, I know.

Mrs. Peacock was a man!

This is war Peacock! Casualties are inevitable, you can not make an omelette without breaking eggs. Every cook will tell you that.
This whole cast is full of recognizable actors in the 1980s. Also, there definitely was a Mr Body in the game. His murder is the mystery.
One of my favorite movies ever made. Honestly a comedic masterpiece. It. Is. Perfect.
You should check out Tim Curry's performance in the movie ( "Legend" ). He plays the large horned; half man; half horse demon.
He was fantastic in Muppet Treasure Island.
And, of course, The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Tim Curry is amazing in everything he does. His "Only the best!" line in Home Alone 2 still kills me - he is so sincere and proud. lol
I love how the weapons they all got as “presents” suited them. Sorta matched the personalities and look of each one. Even their jobs.
I'm so excited! 1+2+1+1
😂 it's the best
You were right on the money, Miss Scarlett was played by Leslie Ann Warren....annnd she played Will's Fathers Mistress on Will and Grace.among many other roles like Pure Country and Cinderella and Victor victoria. love her.
If you're a fan..I think it was season 7.. "Psych" had a full on homage episode including several cast members.. Lloyd, Mull and Warren called "100 Clues".
Playing the board game many times before this movie came out made it so fun to watch. They really played up all of the items from the game including secret passages.
The Butler is Tim Curry
You should check him out in: The Rocky Horror Picture Show!
Totally different!
Oh, you girls are in for a treat watching this one. Tim Curry is an acting genius in this.
This movie never gets old. I watch it at least once a year and laugh my ass off like it’s the first time. It’s an absolute triumph of comedy filmmaking.
I'm glad you guys watched this one! It's one of my favorites!
Now I'm going to go home and sleep with my wife!
This is my comfort movie 😂 such iconic lines! _“Flames… 🔥Flames! 🔥 On the side of my face… burning..”_
Hope you enjoyed it. My father liked this one. It brings back pleasant memories for me.
❤❤❤
My favorite comedy movie of all time. Nothing more needs be said. Simply a masterpiece.
Tim Curry always liked to choose unique scripts.
I was literally just wondering to myself if there's a DVD that randomizes the ending! But then I thought there couldn't possibly be something like that, I didn't think anyone would go to the trouble… If what you say is true, I'm so happy!
100% true. That's usually the way I watch it.@@NoriMori1992
"This is getting serious." 😂😂😂
My favorite Tim Curry movie. It would be interesting seeing a studio release a film with multiple endings in theatres today.
Ahem…. Toxic Love?
@@osmanyousif7849 you referring to ferngully? That's also good.
The novelty of it would be lost, cause the fact they did it would be leaked like 2 years before it came out, and all the endings would be slathered over the internet 5 days before it was even released.
Curry has said it was one of the most fun sets he'd ever been on.
closest i saw was psych parodied this movie for their 100th ep and had different endings on the east and west coasts
In theaters the three different ending were separated so depending on which movie house you went to you would get just one of the endings.
I love the discovery screams of yelling a name or location and the whole group running in that direction over and over.
Biggest clue that almost everyone misses: Mr. Green saying "I didn't do it" throughout the film.
As opposed to the confessions by the others?
@@zeroisnine That were made at the end?
Though it's not really a clue that can help you figure it out beforehand, as there's no reason to believe that anyone that did wouldn't lie and say they didn't. It's more of a nice nod that can be recognized as a point later AFTER we know.
😂😂 Absolutely right!
Always great to see Carly on the reactions.
I didn't realise at first that Colonel Mustard is played by Martin Mull (Willard Kraft), from Sabrina the Teenage Witch
Also Leon in Roseanne
GREAT movie! Loved watching this growing up! Haha, I was always Colonel Mustard when we played the board game. So sad what's happened to Tim Curry.
When this came out, depending on which theater you went to, you saw one of *three* different endings! 🔎
This remains one of my favorite movies, its so campy and fun and honestly feels more like a stage play than a film. I quote this movie all the time.
1985 "Fright Night" should be next
This cast was perfectly chosen.
Tim Curry is brilliant as always.
the fact that audiences got different outcomes basically chosen at random was genus level.
No one really knew which ending they would get.
I swear, Cassie needs to do a Tim Curry marathon. It (1990), Rocky Horror, and even though it’s not that good, he scared the giblets out of me in Legend (1986) as a kid.
This dude can make a one star movie earn a one star because he’s in it.
They like Tom Cruise and have met him, so they might like Legend. It is a little bit of rough movie though, despite Curry's excellent performance.
@@darkwitnesslxx , I see it as Ridley Scott, being way to ambitious and experimental, yet forgetting that he needs to be create a cohesive narrative.

Both of your reactions to the 3 in a row murders was just too freakin' cute. Keep up the great work!
@25:49 "Things are getting out of hand!" Never were truer words spoken about the movie Clue!
So many great actors - and of course Jane Wiedlin from the Go Go’s as the singing telegram girl.
As noted the theater release featured various different endings, with one of three possibilities sent to each movie theater. These were later combined in the later video release as seen here.
I love that Prof Plum is measuring his match to the others who are already paired and finally walks to Ms Peacock and delivers his line.
Yvette was in Smokey and the Bandit 3, the cook was nurse Kelly from MASH. I loved this movie growing up, one of my favorites.
In case you haven't seen the 80's television version of "It", the actor playing Wadsworth plays Pennywise the Dancing Clown in that.
Fun music facts: Mr. Boddy was played by Lee Ving of legendary LA punk band Fear, and the singing telegram was Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Go's.
It blew my mind to find out this movie and Back To The Future came out the same year. I mostly knew Christopher Lloyd from that movie I assumed he was that age not this young.
Best cameo shout to Jane Weidlin of the Go-Go's. "I am your singing telegram."
