Hello chums,
I'm back with another Sew With Me vlog! Woohoo.
This week it's a supperrrrr simple make from the Tilly & The Buttons book 'Make It Simple' - The Safiya Jumpsuit, Yay! You guys will know if you watch my sewing vlog that I am obsessed with Tilly's easy patterns, so this one is no exception. In this vlog I show the fit of the jumpsuit as it comes together, with a few minor adjustments along the way.

Just came here to say how much I love Buffy, too. It is my favourite tv show of all time. Love your makes, too. Really helps to see someone else sewing projects before I tackle them.
Love the finished look! Fits you perfectly! Another versatile outfit to wear with no tee shirt for hot weather like beachwear or add a tee-shirt underneath or even a bulky sweater over the top for winter wear. It is very slenderizing on you. 🤗👍❤️
I made the trousers and finally finished them the other day after avoiding finishing the waistband for weeks 😆 really wish I'd done them sooner as they're so comfy. Annoyingly the material I used are more summer appropriate, so really wanting to make myself the jumpsuit in an autumnal fabric so I can layer turtleneck jumpers underneath

Congratulations on being in Tilly new book, you are a 'Sew' lebrity. Love these😍 I have the book too. I've made the trousers, but wasn't sure about the dungarees. I have some linen, so I may give them a go, as you've inspired me, thank you xx
That would be lovely! I was surprised how easy they were but also how flattering once I have the waist ties on xxxx
They look great on you, you could put a little dart in the front, i love the colour now im going to get my book out and make a jumpsuit, thankyou for sharing x
I made this jumpsuit over the weekend out of 2 meters of fabric as well and had to make the waist tie out of four bits of fabric haha. It looks awesome though!
I had to do the same thing although my waist ties were in 3 parts haha! At least we managed to do it 😄

Hey, where did you get your fabric from for this jumpsuit? I always really struggle getting fabrics that are reasonably priced but also not see through
I know this is a simple pattern, however some of us are so brand new to sewing
Is the only way to get the Safiya pattern by buying the book? I don’t see it in the printed or pdf section on the site. I want the book anyway I just feel like it’ll take a while to deliver to the US :(

Just brought the book but can't work out how I can print the patterns out for free. Can you advise me?
Hey lovely, have you downloaded them from Tilly’s website? I use the A0 versions and send them off to a copy shop like netprinter. Or if you’re printing off the a4 ones and sticking together in my opinion it takes so so so long I just want to crack on with the make so would rather send off the a0 ones to a copy shop. Make sure you send them off at scale to 100% not to ‘fit to page’ xxx
I know this is a simple pattern; however, some of us are brand new to sewing; we need the full detail. Like stitch settings. More visuals in my case lol. Would be good to show us how to cut it out on different widths of fabric.
Im so new to this, I just don’t want to ruin the fabric.

Working out the actual layout of the pattern, trying to trace it out, I found it very confusing, got one leg done it was trying to decider the other one.
I meant decider.
mary jordan I didn’t trace mine lovely I got the a0 patterns printed by a copy shop (netprinter) so I’m not sure I’m afraid xx
