Nice. One of my all time favourites. Instead of the straight Emi7, Mr Beck does a real jazzer. 6th string E down to 1st string E: Open E...Open A...G...B...D...G. In other words, play an 'F shape' G chord on the top four strings but also sound the open E and A strings with it.

I just realized , John Mayer used this progression for "waiting for the world to change". same chords, even the same key, just speed up the temp. Beck can't be too angry...after all he got it from Curtis Mayfield.
Don't matter who you got it from so since I do a backwards sustanon cord to the pentatonic third it means I got it from somebody or just heard it in my ear

Nice. One of my all time favourites. Instead of the straight Emi7, Mr Beck does a real jazzer. 6th string E down to 1st string E: Open E...Open A...G...B...D...G. In other words, play an 'F shape' G chord on the top four strings but also sound the open E and A strings with it.

Very nice lesson, I learned more on those favorite song. Just on thing - to my ears, Jeff Beck plays an E major, not an e minor chord.
I just realized , John Mayer used this progression for "waiting for the world to change". same chords, even the same key, just speed up the temp. Beck can't be too angry...after all he got it from Curtis Mayfield.
Don't matter who you got it from so since I do a backwards sustanon cord to the pentatonic third it means I got it from somebody or just heard it in my ear

Anyone know how jeff achieves the great tone for the lead hook , "motif" , 4 note riff other than just his fingers ? Amp? Effects? I have the guitar rig plugin by ni- someone should make a jeff beck preset
From what I've read so far the Rockman X100 is what was or comes close to what he used other than his technique
