She's the electropop's queen. This woman is a living legend. I'm thrilled to have lived in the same years as her and to have been able to follow her career since the beginning, even if I'm not a "fan" in the first meaning of this term cause I'm the "fanatic" of anybody, lol. But I've got the most immense respect for the artist she is.

You'd probably love Mylène Farmer even more if you could understand her lyrics. She's so talented / so good at writing. Her lyrics always are so deep, dark, melancholic, sad, or/and poetic . She also plays a Iot with words, especially when the lyrics are about sex. Her writing is often melancholic. Almost all her songs talk about death, sex, God, unhappiness, melancholic...
I love her for many reasons : her world, creativity, originality, her mysterious side, intelligence, but first because of her writing.
Plus she's never crude/vulgar. Even when the song is about sex because she implies things in a poetic way.
So, for Frenchs who understand the lyrics, it's obviously more powerful
He has a long Mylène playlist and does efforts to understand her world and Dereck gets it, he is a huge fan now!
@@estelleceleste2765 I know ;) but even if you can translate a song, it's not the same : the translation sometimes is bad or at least isn't up to the original lyrics.
Also, you can't translate in another language plays on words or rhymes. I mean, I talked about the quality of her writing and of course, you can't translate that. 😉

She’s so cute in that one, running around introducing her band members and when she leaves the stage they are jammin out for a few more minutes with some exceptional instrumentation skills.
Almost the whole concert is masterpiece after masterpiece. Can’t say the same of the most recent tours…

Hi Dereck! Thanks for your react on Mylène Farmer. One of my fav in 80's as a single (especially the Remix Club: version of the clip) but not in concert.
Do you know that this song was performed only one and last time for this Tour 89 concert? Precisely from May 11 to December 08, 1989.
Till date it isn't featured on any other tour and all the fans are hoping and looking forward to one day she will be performed on stage again, who knows for the Nevermore 2023.

This title is an UNRELEASED released on February 12, 1987 as the fourth and last single from her first album "Cendres De Lune" (1986), ranked no.7 in the TOP 50, selling 250,000 copies and certified silver.
The song will be a success on the airwaves reaching the 6th position of the airplay Media Control Radios FM on June 6, 1987 and the 13th place of the airplay peripheral radios in August.
It was included for the second pressing of this album in the spring of 1987 (April) on vinyl, CD and cassette.
Two remixes will be created (Remix Club and Wolf Mix) and will be released in MAXI 45 RPM and as for Libertine on the soundtrack of the clip and very rare for the time on a single cassette.
For this concert, Mylène wanted to recreate in a way the Russian atmosphere of the music video, particularly in terms of the costumes which for this first concert are by Thierry Mugler who died at the beginning of the year.
She wears almost the same costume as the television performances of 1987 (26 popular TV shows) where she was accompanied by two dancers(choreography which required 3 weeks of work!), one of whom you know, Sophie Tellier, who plays the "rival" in Libertine (1986) and Pourvu Qu'Elles Soient Douces (1988), but also the wicked tsarina in the videoclip for Tristana (1987).
For this concert, my two favorite songs on stage are "Sans Logique" and "A Quoi Je Sers..." which were released as singles the same year, the second being also an unreleased song integrated into the second part of the concert from September.

Il vous suffit de réduire la vitesse à 0.75 et mettre les sous-titres générés automatiquement en anglais. Au bout de 2 mois vous n'aurez-plus de pb en vitesse normale 😉

La seule show-women française. L' équivalente en show à Johnny Hallyday. La seule qui offre un vrai spectacle et en donne pour son argent à son public. Elle ne se moque pas des gens en venant avec un vieux pull et un jean's cradingue banal, devant son micro comme tous les "chanteurs" actuels. Et elle n'utilise pas d'Autotune elle !

Je n'ai jamais aimé Mylène Farmer, je la trouve trop sophistiquée, aucunement authentique, et désolé mais sans décors et sans effets spéciaux, sa voix n'a rien d'exceptionnel, même Jane Birkin a plus de charisme et de vérité quand elle chante. Un chanteur, c'est un artiste avec un micro, ou sans, sur une scène sombre, dépouillée, et juste sa voix pour peupler le monde, il est impossible de faire ça avec Mylène Farmer qui a besoin de s'entourer de bruit et de lumière pour exister.
Quel commentaire long et ennuyeux tout ça pour raconter des banalités lol tu as bien du temps à perdre. Tu aimes pas point barre. C'est une Star il y a ceux qui aiment et ceux qui n'aiment pas rien de nouveau sous le soleil allez next !! Je ne répondrai pas à ton éventuelle réponse qui j'en suis sur sera très intelligente !

Je peux comprendre mais ce n'est pas si vrai. Je te conseillerais de voir tout les moments où elles chante des balades piano-voix à chacun de ses concerts. Là on a une scène sombre, aucun effet en particulier et qu'on aime ou qu'on aime pas, l'émotion est particulièrement présente dans ces moments là !!
@@delireent.3960 Possible... je ne la suis pas dans toute son oeuvre, mais l'ensemble de sa carrière, d'après ce que je vois depuis le début, ce sont de beaux clips très soignés, et sur scène des effets spéciaux avec des danseurs, des lumières, des costumes extravagants, pour moi la chanson ce n'est pas ça, elle est davantage dans le show à l'américaine façon Broadway. J'avoue que mes chanteurs préférés ce sont Barbara, Serge Reggiani, Frida Boccara, Léo Ferré, des chanteurs qui n'avaient pas besoin d'artifice pour faire passer l'émotion.
