I was stationed in Okinawa Japan in 2006, sometime during my tour there I heard this song late one night walking past a local pub. The notes have become nostalgic as we move forward in time. Thank you Kobayashi-san
A fantastic jazz tune, i just can't stop listening to it! Kobayashi is most definitely a talented artist, and has created a truly great modern jazz piece. I don't think I'll stop listening to it over the summer ;)
I think i first heard this music on the South Carolina State University Radio station going to Orangeburg, SC. This is such a sweet melody and well thought out confluence of complimentary tones! Beautiful recording kaori ... from a fellow sax player! Blessings!
This makes me think of being I'm a car driving around the city during night, and passing lane makes me think of walking around the city stopping in to say hello to the shop people you know.
I wish the world was the same again... 2020 got me f’ed up. I come from the future. It’s dark right now but I think a light is at the end of the tunnel. Good luck to you all

You can feel the cold breeze as you sip a cup of coffee to warm you down admiring the city lights and cars like stars atop the morning sky.
Conversely, the jazz of art opens avenues of conversation that require not words, merely riding your inner groove with pleasure. You are not speechless. You look happy. Thinking with your heart?

you don't become a legend by playing smooth jazz. Almost all of them fade to the black eventually. There is a reason why Kenny G CDs are all found in the "pop" section of music stores and not the jazz section.
